yes please! I skipped all her dramas because of the profile photo. Now that I watched my little happiness, I found out how much I have been missing. She was super beautiful there.
Nothing is wrong about this drama. Everything is good. I dare you to present one. 1. Fluffy and very romantic, many many kisses all realistic and nice. 2. The total number of fights the couple have even before they confess is 2. And are easily resolved. Imagine complete 25-26 episodes just smooth romance. 3. I was afraid that childhood sweetheart cliché would overwhelm their current relationship as adults. But I was totally convinced that they also love their current version of each other and are not sticking to childhood memories. Because they do a lot for each other during drama. 4. No stupid decisions, both have deep understanding about each other's situation and profession. For example they are way better than the couple in Descendants of the Sun. 5. Secondary couple are also very compatible and look good together. But their love story is much harder and takes quite a lot of time for them to feel their love. It has some frustrating moments.
I started watching this drama because of Sun Yi and the fact that they have good chemistry. Both chemistry and acting are very good. I wasn't a fan of Jin Han, but here he nailed it. Also Sun Yi didn't disappoint. BUT I had to drop it at EP 38!! The biggest problem in this drama is that the trust issue of FL is never resolved, even when in some part she sees with her own eyes what a disaster her mistrust would cause. They spend a huge amount of time together, experience many life and death situations together, a lot of thrilling and dangerous moments, yet until the very end complete trust from FL is not established. I was like, "Oh no man! Here we go again... not after freaking 38 episodes." What makes this drama worth to watch are these: 1. The chemistry and kisses are so good. Idk if their kisses are considered steamy or not, but they were very satisfying. The combination of tender girl and bad boy really worked here. 2. Male lead is so smart, outsmarts villain many times. His approach for defeating them is quite unique for a CDrama protagonist. He uses every method, manipulates everybody, even FL (but only in earlier episodes, at least ML has some development in this aspect) to get to his goal, and at the same time not hurting any innocent individual. He doesn't have boundary for the method, but the result is almost always justifiable and good. Even if you are not interested in the romance or get frustrated by the mistrust, his path to fight and get revenge is worth a try. FL is almost always a challenge for him, rather than a support (although in some cases she actually helps him). Like "OK, you are so smart. How about we set a condition that you should never hurt this person. Then can you still win the fights?"
I mean why the writers had to convert her to a baby in future time. Was it really necessary? Couldn't they have her as an adult in modern time so we could ship them?

If there is one good thing in this drama, it has to be the make up and dress of the FL. She doesn't look like a teenager. She is graceful and cute at the same time. She is so beautiful. She also acts very well. It's just your preference that you like mature-looking women. Nothing more.

That's why character development is for. It is ridiculous and unrealistic if we accept that somebody falls deeply in fall within only a tiny amount of time. He is full of revenge at the start and has a big plan, he is also not completely in love with FL at first, so why should he care about her in this situation. If he was very nice to FL even from the start it was too unrealistic. I have not finished the drama yet, but as it goes on you see how much he tries to protect his family and people important to him. I still don't know SML's background, but he seems like a carefree prince who doesn't have much to worry about, so it is very normal to be attracted to a fine lady. His care and love seems very mediocre and boring.
