Title Youth of May Spoiler
It's not low, 8.7 is great
It could be happy ending without that skeleton at the beginning.

For those of you asking 'does somebody die?'.....It's the equivalent of asking if a movie set around WW-II has…
The death was unnecessary story-wise. They didn't have anything to do with the uprising and the dad was lost after harming his son. In the end even the girl that was supposed to be going to die, was alive! Among the important characters nobody died, only FL and her father, so there wasn't a high death-toll.

10/10I don't know anything about Gwangju uprising and I'm not interested in it either, but I enjoyed this drama…
Ending was very sad. The worst ending for a character happened to our male lead, the most likable character in the drama, like the writers wanted to play with our emotions and not let us forget this drama forever. It was totally unnecessary from the point of the story, because apparently the evil dad cooled down and stopped his doings after he harmed his own son, but I think this sad settings needed something sad to happen in the end or it will lose its effect, and sacrificing side characters is cheating.

I don't know anything about Gwangju uprising and I'm not interested in it either, but I enjoyed this drama a lot.
One of the points that this drama could successfully convey is that the uprising affected a lot of people who were not involved in the uprising, for example our main lead. It is basically not about the uprising at all but its effect on people's life. It illustrates the experiences of many kinds of people of that time, poor families, rich families, soldiers, kids, doctors and nurses,...
It starts with some cute romance and a comedic male lead. His character was so engrossing that you knew you are going to hear some unexpected or interesting response from him whenever he was with female lead. The drama starts with some silly lighthearted romance and as it goes, it becomes more sad and dark and in the same time the romance becomes an emotional pillar to lean on and enjoy the depressing incidents as things become real and you are taken out of your fantasy romantic world.
The Romance:
It is not hot or steamy, not much skinship, as expected from K-Dramas. I had the feeling that even if they live together for 10 lifetimes, they would live happily. Good guy meeting the good girl kind of romance. They deserved each other. As they story goes on you are convinced that they are each other's everything.
Both leads showed excellent acting. Male lead's witty, yet strong character was well conveyed by Lee Do Hyun. Female lead's strong, yet sorrowful character was beautifully shown by Go Min Si. I already knew how good an actor Dohyun is, but Go Min Si, I saw her for the first time and I am going to watch every drama with her as lead from now on. She is beautiful, attractive and her expressions are on point.

Title Girlfriend Spoiler
in which ep main lead starts dating? any break up? if any then in which ep they get back together?
I have watched until ep 30 rn.
They get together at ep 23, although they love each other for a long time already.
Before they get together:
Their contract relationship ends at ep 11, and female lead avoids him for an episode, until their new relationship starts at ep 13.
Female lead has a misunderstanding about ML at ep 21, until when they get together at episode 23.
After they get together, I have not seen any break up yet, but from the ending credits it seems I have not seen male lead's crying scene, yet.

This drama is surprisingly cute and the romance is not steamy or passionate at all!
- The male lead is aggressive, but almost every time he has some good reason for it. I don't support his aggressions, but I can understand why he does them.
- The story itself implies a lot of aggressive and heavy interactions, she is sold to them by her dad, after all. But they don't go far after that, they don't make it messy, frustrating or infuriating. Instead they try to continue with cute interactions between the leads and tone things down as much as possible.
- Male lead's mother is one of my favorite characters. She is strict, smart and strong, but she is not evil. She also lowkey helps our leads to get together. I was happy that I am not facing another crazy rich mother-in-law. She is very reasonable and handles things well.
- I liked how the drama starts with full of aggression and angsty and slowly changing to more peaceful atmosphere. ML becomes more and more lovely and cute, SML starts to move on and love somebody else, female leads starts to act less pitiful and more cheerful.
- The romance is meh, I mean everything is about their romance, but despite what the story promises, it is not going to go intense. Not a lot of skinship. It is cute romance type. Male lead has some misunderstandings and those are the reasons for his aggressive behavior, but most of the time what I remember is him caring and getting worried about her, of course in the dark :). ML's family actually didn't buy her to have sex with him, they just took her to have artificial insemination, and they respected her all the time.
- Female lead is not annoying. She indeed is in a very pitiful situation, but she stands for herself from time to time and if you think of how much money they forfeited because of her, tolerating some bit of shouting or aggressive behavior from male lead is nothing.
- The production quality is zero. The fighting scenes, the sounds, and shootings are at zero level, like a more from 90s.
All in all it is not the aggressive male lead type drama full of frustrations, emotional roller coasters or similar stuff. I am happy that I didn't encounter a jerk male lead and an evil mother-in-law, but I am disappointed because I expected a lot more skinship and steamy scenes.

Thai producers are such professionals at making sadistic romances, I have started this and I am feeling bad that I'm feeling good watching it.

Nope, it's almost there but didn't get there.
That happens when you sell your daughter to a gentleman, probably. Dramaland possibilities.

FL is almost twice the age of ML. That is what we should call age gap, others are jokes. FL is very beautiful that makes it even more exciting!

Why to watch this drama:
1. Their first encounter: their very encounter is so exciting and hot. It is very rare for a CDrama to have such an exciting first encounter. They are mostly silly, cute, or boring.
2. The romance: The romance between the main leads is very passionate and you always feel the sexual tension between them. (The way he grabs her face 😍😍😍😍)
3. Good possessive male lead: Male is the possessive kind and at the same time he is nice. Could it be better that this? Nope. He has that aggressive aura toward female lead, but never does anything arrogant towards or even yell at female lead. He is very nice and sacrificial to her. Perfect!
4. Female lead is not an idiot, but she is quite capable and clear-minded. Plot is not centered over female lead but she is strong and helpful when the time comes.
5. The action scenes are not very much, but they are good and interesting.
6. Male lead has a very nice body and gets half naked a lot during the drama.
All in all it is a short drama about lovers meet again and there is not much more going on, only romance. It is definitely worth your time and for me is became one of my top dramas that I would miss forever. The romance between second leads is kind of family type.
* I like how the flashbacks slowly unfolded they past story and male leads experiences, but I preferred them to dedicate the first part of the drama to the story between the leads in the island instead of giving some scenes as flashbacks. Their relationship in the island had so much potential, I think they missed it.

Sweet and happy ending but sooo predictable. Actually, the whole story is predictable. Just watch it if you like…
It had a plot twist at episode 15 though. I didn't expect that.

EP16 subtitles are available!!!
I will never ever watch an on-going drama anymore, even if 99 episodes of 100 episodes are subbed.

i like this version instead of the korean version. i like shen yue and she is so cute
But the kissing scene in Clean with Passion for Now was epic. Is this one also has good kisses?

why does she look so tiny in this show
She is 36kg at 160cm height, so she is considered very petite. And here the ML is about 190cm so she would seem very small against him.

TY! But I think I will wait for episode 16 to come. Can't wait again, it was already hard to stop at EP14. We should just check productive procrastination's page often.
