i mean, i am not south korean but i am asian & the whole ideology of seeing kids as investments is the most common…
It doesn't have anything to do with Asia. Seeing children as investments is neither a characteristic of "Asian families", nor is common in all Asian countries. It may be countries, cultures or families that do see their children as investments, but it is not related to Asia. I am Asian, and in my country it is completely the opposite. Families here support the children until their death, even if their child is like 30-40 years old, and they don't expect anything in return.
I really love both leads and the score shows that it is a decent drama, I also watched TMOPB, so I already know the characters. But Wuxia dramas take a damn too long time to build up and the introduction is usually very lengthy. Does their romance start late? Which episode would we be able to feel the sparks between them? because in TMOPB I dropped it three times until I could pass the 10 first episodes and see the ML being born.
The hottest couple I have seen for a long long time. I just finished YAMG and was thinking which couple can be even comparable to them in terms of passion and intimacy, and I remembered this gem. Because of the vibe of the drama, I even think the relationship is hotter and spicier here.
The amount of sweetness is unbelievable in this drama! When they are still not together, they are so comfortable and natural together. When they get together, they have a lot of hot scenes, cute scenes, emotional scenes together. They live together like a very sweet real couple. This drama has everything a romance drama should have, except it lacks tension a bit. As a romance drama:
Acting: 10/10. For FL, it doesn't seem that she is acting at all! For ML, the expressions are more subtle, but they are perfect and natural.
Intimacy and Passion: 10/10. A lot of flirting, decent kisses and (implied) bed scenes.
Cuteness: 10/10. Dilraba is just cuteness overload even while casually talking and she abuses her talent quite a lot in this drama.
Characters: 10/10. ML & FL characters are so likable and strong, no clichรฉ, annoying type of character.
Depth: 10/10. Their relationship feel very mature and well-developed. You are convinced that they deserve each other for a life-long relationship.
Tension: 6/10. Not any actual stressful moment that keep you at the edge of your seat in this drama (maybe except when they started to get back together). It is indeed a very intriguing drama, but everything is quite ok during the whole drama.
Isn't it a reverse-harem drama? How does it have no love triangles?
Isn't two males loving the same female a love triangle? Here we have 4 males loving the same female character, so basically there are 6 love triangles here. Does the other three male characters have a chance to be with FL compared to ML?
That's typical Cdrama plot.the FL will be crying over other guys in front of the ML. The ML even though he himself…
That's true. CDramas tend to show women more important beings and concentrate so much about their dilemmas and sufferings, while male leads are either sexy jerks, or unimportant always-supporting gentlemen. That's one of the reasons why historical Cdramas attract me more, at least for the sake of historical authenticity, they have to give the male lead some important goal to follow, like country or similar stuff.
So anyone who loved this can you recommend more 2021 Cdramas that are similar? Please comment and add the ones…
Mysterious Love has the best romantic chemistry among 2021 dramas imo. The romantic tension and intimacy is on a higher level than C-Drama industry's conventions of chemistry.
Yep. That's ok if you don't like this drama because everyone has their own opinion. But, this is not e-sport drama,…
Have you watched The Rational Life? Is this drama like rational life? Because I love mature romance dramas with meaningful communication and conversations between the characters, and rational life is kind of gold standard for me in that aspect.
If they added romance, they wouldn't have focused on the plot and this would have made the drama lose its charm.…
They could have added romance without harming the story, it just makes the drama a bit longer. I have been waiting for this drama to end from when it started airing to binge watch it. Now I'm so sad ;(
