This is a must-watch for romance watchers. why? because: 1. FL's acting is mind blowing. Her expressions are so good. You can suppose she is a veteran actress and go watch the drama and you won't get disappointed. She is awesome. I cried so many times when she was crying on the screen. 2. Everything is in its place. A very healthy relationship. They respect, trust, and love each other. 3. The chemistry of the leads is very good. They look very natural. Even though the female lead is very young and they don't make the romance sensual or passionate, but you can watch every other aspect of a romantic relationship. Even so, I am really pleased about the kissing scenes. In all of them you could feel the emotion and even in one of them you could see the action XD. After a while, they feel like an old couple with a deep bind between them, the actual meaning of forever love. 4. It is not boring. Even though it doesn't have unnecessary drama and main leads don't make stupid decisions, they managed to make it very exciting and thrilling, with very heartwarming and emotional moments. 5. It gets better and better every episode. At first the only exciting thing is the free spirit and airheaded character of ML. But when they become official, it gets much better. In a lot of dramas only the process of leads getting together is exciting and after they get together, it gets bland or frustrating that you just want to end it, like the job is done after their kiss. LOL. But here the real thing starts AFTER they get together (though they have a lot of good moments before getting together, too). 6. FL's outfits. I don't know why but I In a lot of C-dramas they actually put female lead in a bag rather than a proper dress. I don't know why maybe they think it is cute?? Here FL's outfits fits her very well and she looks so good in them. 7. The choice of main leads: the time span of this drama is quite long, about 10 years, from when they are in high school until they are adults and start working. Both leads look believable as teenagers and adults. When they are at high school FL looks like a teenage (because she was only 18 in reality) and ML could easily pass as a teenager with that simple short hair. When they are adults, thanks to the decent outfits and FL's good acting she looked like a mature woman, ML with suits and fit body, looked like a mature man.
No other drama gives me the same feeling as this one. The emotions feels so deep and overwhelming. It has been years since I watched this drama, but still keep listening to its main OST and reminisce about their love story and sad and happy moments.
It was pretty good. The story wasn't anything special, yet is was portrayed beautifully. The romance wasn't passionate or intense. I was really pissed off about the kissing scenes, they were very short. Like they start kissing... and then it's already the next scene. But, they were very natural together and even without very passionate scenes, you could feel them as a couple, like the ones you see everyday in real life. Male lead is very mature and understanding, although he is very romantically clumsy at the beginning. He is very handsome and attractive. Female lead is naive, but she is not stupid, she feels the misunderstandings and even though she cannot prevent them, she solves them afterwards by talking. She is very cute and funny. Her hairstyle is very beautiful, too.
I was about to watch this drama then, I came here to check comments for a bit ,,, then I saw this.. hahaha now…
It has an alternative happy ending, but the logical ending is FL goes to sleep and never wakes up. But, then you find out the whole drama is made up by ML to tell stories to FL to wake her up and the entire drama actually never happened. :| But, if like me, you also like the FL, I suggest you to watch My Dear Destiny. The production quality is low but the acting and chemistry between leads is very good and has a satisfying happy ending. I have a review on that drama on the comment section, too.
oh... ok. So it upgraded from crap plot + crap ending to crap plot + sad ending. LOL. That still won't urge me to try it. I mean, sad endings are not essentially bad if in the meantime we are given a beautiful story, but crap plot with sad ending is not something that someone should try. :)
