His sister is so dumb, I can't believe she dares to say all those things to her brother. She is so heartless and worse, I'm afraid she has water for brains.
I love how real their characters are in terms of being enemies. These two are generals whom war and countless corpses have molded them into, so I like the fact that both leads are pretty much ruthless no mercy no bs types. Wish Yi Xiao killed Sui Ge when she had the chance, what a shame. But, there is this big, huge, enormous elephant in the room, which is, these should never ever be involved in anything romantic. I can get behind a type of a friendship but for her loving someone who tortured and beat the sh*t out of her and for him loving someone who almost killed you with a freaking arrow, umm, that doesn't work for me. You know what, if the beating and the torture wasn't done by him, I could at least give them a chance but ugh, anyways...
As much as I find Fang Lei disgusting, there is a part of me that is curious. Girl, what on earth do you even see in Shen Hao Ming, he is a married old hag with a kid on the line. Fang Lei sells herself for too cheap.
I hate how Hao Ming berates Xu Yan and tells how he could never fall in love with a liar(I don't remember the exact wording) but she actually never lied about her background until she met his mother. So, when factoring that, Xu Yan is actually pretty much innocent from start to finish. Plus, Hao Ming was so ready to go all the way with Fang Lei just to get that contract, he really is one of the most gross male leads out there. If this was a historical setting and if he was a prince vying for the throne, he would be the type that would use his wife's military power to rise to the throne then kill her family to fend off future problems.
Anyways, I don't think I'll be ever rooting for their reunion but I hope Xu Yan gets her life together and fills her surroundings with those who truly love and cherish her.
The more I watch this, more my heart breaks for her. If a child grows up while receiving love on condition that sets them a life full of pain. She chose him for qualifications but gave her heart for mere crumble of kindness. I hate her sperm and egg donor so much, even that sister of hers is no good. I would say some nasty stuff to her if she was my sister. Ignorance is a bliss but also a sin.
She is one crazy b*tch, and I'm all for it. I think by end, her reason for staying wasn't just about liking him but more so, 'dang, I did every thing for this person, so at least I should get a good lay out of this'.
At the end of the series, there will be a plot twist revealing that the ML actually loved only the FL from the…
That's not it at all, wei lan was pretending to be like someone else, as in imitating what she likes and her back story. But, at the end of the day Xing Xu liked her. You don't end up liking someone just because they like white and drink red bean soup. And, that is fine. Both leads have history, they are on the same playing ground.
This was so good, I'm surprised that not enough people are talking about it. I love the flow of the story, it is really well done. Each moment is well thought out and not a single scene is wasted. Plot wise it was good but not unpredictable, what actually hooked me is how each day was explored and shown in loop days. Also, flashbacks were done really tastefully. Another plus was how the team actually did the gritty work and Ding Qi was a leader, not a superhero and an all achieving over powered cheat character. Overall, Bai Jing Ting in a time loop simply works, he can go for the third time with his next drama.
Just my two cents, someone as weak willed and two faced as crown prince can never be a good ruler. He killed his wife, betrayed the trust of his friends, went on a full ego trip, was ready to make Li Shuang marry him by force and we are supposed to believe that he is a benevolent ruler. Also, he freaking run for days to save Li Shuang, couldn't he just grab a vine or something, he was running in a forest for God's sake. After Li Shuang was saved and found him by chance, he still had the audacity to lie and he wasn't even surprised that she was alive and well. His character made no sense at all. He was the biggest psycho out all of them, not that I blame him for that though, my gripe is with his hypocrisy. He is weak, self-serving and also drowning in self pity. At which point he was a kind and a good person I have no idea.
This was nice but looking after a bunch of kids ain't a happy ending by my standards. They're even thinking of having kids with no house and no income. Jokes aside, ending was suitable but that self-sacrificing for the greater good, for the country mindset was too much at some point. If you want to protect something, you shouldn't let others decide for you, letting everything go and hoping that others will do a better job after you are gone is a pipe dream. Anyways had the empress dowager just killed the emperor back then, she'd be still sitting on her throne all well. In the end obsession was what brought everyone down. So, maybe, letting go isn't that bad afterall.
I'm at ep28 and Jin'an was half naked, like... half of the show yet he wakes fully clothed after their wedding night. Come on. I couldn't care less about intimate scenes but now they care about exposure ahahaha. Anyways, at this point I'm just skipping Crown Prince's scenes and all is good.
I just had to stop, can we just kill off that crown prince. I think even Prince Li is better than him. I hate people like crown prince who is weak, drowning in self pity yet also has no loyalty. He is just like his father.
I love a good happy ending but sometimes my intrusive thoughts get the better of me and I want a clean break where everyone dies. There are some dramas where everyone actually dies and it makes so much sense that their ending is the way it is but still I hate it. So much so that there are still dramas I’ve yet to see their ending, even after years. Anyways, my intrusive thoughts say that, what if he killed her and then remembered everything which caused him to go absolutely crazy, in a total villain arc style. After killing his way to the throne and achieving total domination he ends himself too. Just like the alternate ending/dream in the Story of Kunning Palace.
3 episodes in and I literally fell asleep watching this. It is apparent that no one in the production knew how to write a proper dialog nor a coherent plot. Also, we all know for a fact that this cast is good at acting, they're A list stars but somehow the director managed to make them look like they're playing in a youtube mini drama with no acting chops. I can deal with a bad plot but even the acting looks so inorganic that there is no saving grace to this. Not even enough eye-candy shots to keep me entertained. After this is over I'm sure someone on YouTube will make edits for PHS, I'll watch those instead.

Love it for the suspense, no for the romance :)
