It's not overrated imo (8.9 rating may be a bit much, it's not a masterpiece in my books, but HELLA entertaining and romantic), and I can be pretty picky. Of course there is a chance you won't like it (it sometimes is very over the top, wattpad/makjang coded, also the leads can act stupid from time to time), but if you don't mind it, there is a high chance you'll enjoy it. It should suck you in from the very beginning, so give it 2 eps, if you don't like it at that point, then maybe it's not for you. Otherwise, this year it's one of not many outstanding dramas, and by ep 8 it hasn't lost its steam so I hope for a strong ending too.

I think he always had in mind that their arranged marriage will end, and this was the reason why he didn't want to get closer to her, as he didn't want to get hurt.

I am so glad that out couple didn't turn to some kind of overly sweet, full-on aegyo behaviour, as it happens in so many dramas. Like I still wish for even more fire in this house iykwim, but I'm soo content, and the fact that they ended that misunderstanding right away... We were spoiled this week, and they even gave us the preview to calm our nerves

Same. This year is pretty mid, both in terms of cdramas and kdramas. The only outstanding one from the top of my head is Knight Flower. And this was at the beginning of the year 😭

I agree, it's never done right in kdramas, it's usually just a lazy technique to bring back the previous status quo... i especially hated it when I was watching anime back in my days, the "I'm sick - I confessed my love/we kissed - next day I remember nothing" was overused so much it's crazy. Similar plot in kdrama would be drunken confession and then passing out, but recently, thank God, it usually turns out that they remember in the span of an episode or sth, like here in ep 6...
