You might be right, I saw her rise to popularity after Mr Queen, but it might have happened sooner 😅 admittedly I wasn't active in kdrama world till 2020. And for sure I agree that she might have taken that role cause it was interesting! I think that when actors are popular they can focus on the roles they want, not need to do.
(Yeah I know, they are spammimg left and right instead of checking existing comments / thinking a bit for themselves... it's always been the case, and I ignored it, but rn it was just too stupid for me not to respond. Romance between a peeper and dead girl, smh)
Is it just me or do Disney+ produced kdramas have similar designs?? Like the poster for blood free loooks really…
They are pretty much the same genre / overall vibe too imo... with Netflix, there's a wide range of genres - from sci-fi, to romcom, medical dramas, etc. But on Disney+ it's mainly action/thriller, dark vibes overall. They feel very mass-produced to me, I don't feel anything special while watching them, they are too similar to anerican tv shows. The exception was the first eps of Moving...
1. This movie was reportedly shot even before COVID. So it was before SHS's rise to fame through Mr Queen. 2. Besides, this movie will most probably have scenes from before her death, and that will be the majority of her screentime. 3. If you read the description, the ML is a peeper. What do you want, a romance between a peeper and a lying influencer? Smh
Please think a bit on your own before you ask yet another "Romance?" question.
This was a pretty cute drama. Nice chemistry between the leads. The ML basically carried the whole thing for me. However, the drama is cliched as hell, and doesn't really bring anything new to the table. Not saying that it must, but I'm feeling more and more that kdramas tend to follow the same patterns. At least there wasn't a murderer in the background or something (for more than 2 eps at least).
I am pretty mad with one thing tho - the whole aspect of ML's 'healing' journey. ML tormented by a thing from the past, that he must work through - that's ok with me, I'm all for redemption stories. HOWEVER. In most dramas, the ML is not really responsible for any wrongdoings. So how is it healing when it's not even their fault? People do mistakes, yes, and need some examples in culture to show them that it's possible to live on. But here the ML did NOTHING wrong imo. Maybe it's the difference between Korea's culture and mine. But it's been bugging me lately. Say that I caused a road accident, it was my fault but I didn't wish that to happen. Will I get any comfort from watching kdramas? No, cause it always turns out that the leads take accountability for something that wasn't even their fault. Sigh. Some examples - My Lovely Liar, 30 but 16, just from the top of my head...

One thing - the 2nd couple didn't do it for me. I guess I'm not a huge fan of Yu Rim's character (and acting), and Ji Woong had way better chemistry with Seung Wan. The relationship was also way too idealised compared to first couple. It was cute, but not much more. Was rooting for JW x SW till the very end. But YJ's brother also grew up fine so I guess thats ok hahahah
I read the comments on the ending when 2521 was airing. It was a huge storm - from which I thought that it's at least an disaster of Mr Queen or AJTL's caliber - characters acting weirdly, episodes unnecassarily sped up. But it really does make sense here. It's not out of place. However, it does hurt. I was scared of this drama for a long time, but I'm glad I watched it, it was beautiful.
Sure, I love my HE, but tbh in these kinds of youth dramas... No matter the ending, I end up tearing up anyways. The same with Reply 1988. Growing up and growing apart is just so sad to me. The fact that we can never go back is just scary. And on screen it's even sadder than irl to me, cause I've never had such beautiful memories from my youth. But this show makes me realise that even when the relationship ended, it was still so precious.
I actually never finished this one, cause it was too good and I didn't want to be left with no episodes to watch. So really waiting for S2 to finally watch this xD
I want everything with LJW. I'm a HUGE fan after Knight Flower. So excited! Hoping for a good story. The title is kinda weird tbh, I think they will change it. Also, I've been seeing a lot of alcohol photos on his Instagram stories recently, wondering if that's related ><
Jtbc will have verified its source, only possibility it's false is a good forgery - but to what end? Why frame…
" I liked her in Fight My Way - don't you wonder why her career didn't take off from there?" - so many actors don't make it, how is that an argument for her being guilty. Also, lack of motive for making this up? Maybe hate, maybe envy? And I'm not saying this is made up. But there are millions of people making stuff up on the internet, for the most petty reasons.
Woah, haven't been in a comment section this agressive and hateful for a while now. Every toned down and mindful argument is just ignored for the sake of being edgy and just flooding peoplee with crazy extreme views. I'm not saying the truth always lies in the middle. But have some perspective people. I'm terrified how extremely divided people are nowadays. Aren't we here to enjoy dramas and movies which should give us an insight to other people's perspectives and minds? Or maybe you're here only for some romantic fluff, then I guess you do you. Shouldn't we be more open-minded, wait for more proof, for more info? And then let the authorities take care of it, rather than BULLY WITH ONLINE HATE? Don't you see that you're bullies yourselves? Smh
I will not support bullies or rapists. They are equally bad. I know many people want to justify bullying, and will…
That's what law is for. So the society doesn't punish anyone themselves without proper procedures and fact-checking. If we really were to punish everyone who did sth wrong as a kid with years of internet bullying, what's even the point of judicial system?
