I don't really feel the stakes anymore. So what it she's fired? She's the best known divorce attorney in the country. She'll do fine on her own... also it makes zero sense for the CEO to fire her...

I had no idea that this is made by Her Private Life's writer! Funny how this was the rom com I was waiting for the least (from Cinderella at 2 am and Love Next Door) but I'm the most excited about it rn lol

The 2nd leads characters are written so weirdly1. The 2nd Fl is fantasizing about her school friend and writing…
But tbh, I think that secretary's happy ending will be that he finally doesn't have to work as a secretary xD so point 5 will be invalid imo

True, the FL throwing a tantrum over not being satisfied by her bf in ep 1 was gold. I wish they stick to that…
hahahaha ><

Was wondering the same thing, whether those "you're a porn addict" commenters will come here or not...

The drama is pretty bold for a prime time kdrama romcom. Wasn't expecting them to show nam ja yeon's imagination…
True, the FL throwing a tantrum over not being satisfied by her bf in ep 1 was gold. I wish they stick to that and don't start treating the leads as the most innocent human beings on earth, as many other kdramas tend to do...

As a 54 year old woman, I think I have the maturity and life experience to know what to expect from an age restriction…
Well said, we need to normalize people learning age restrictions and content warnings before watching a show. Don't mind the trolls.

People need to realise that this is a healing drama. And its not just abt Mother daughter healing relationship…
The fact that there is character development (as should be in every drama) doesn't really mean that it's a healing drama though? I don't see healing in this drama in usual sense of the genre...

10 mins into ep 10 and I'm annoyed af. Why does Yoo Ri always make assumptions and give advices when she hasn't…
She feels bad that they might regret their decision? She really does think that she's the only adult in the room...

10 mins into ep 10 and I'm annoyed af. Why does Yoo Ri always make assumptions and give advices when she hasn't even heard the full story? Does she think she is a psychotherapist? I'm really annoyed with her atp, she's showing no signs of character development. And I believe she wouldn't be any better in the business department. Smh

Title On the Verge of Insanity Spoiler
Overall tho, a very solid and entertaining show. I don't mind the ending, apart from a few plots (the presentation went too bad for them to win, and the investment they negotiated was too good to be true), I think it's not that unbelievable. Just wish that some characters got a worse ending, as they really deserved a failure (namely: Han Se Kwon... At least that bastard is working alone now, not messing with others' lifes). But I like how there is no good character here. Everyone is just a bit gray.

The whole dismissal plot (of the ML) was soo weird. He's the one behind a lot of company's successes and he's developing a key project, which is already hella understaffed. Why are they insisting on letting him go, just because of his age? Especially that they were wise enough to let him survive the layoffs in the previous company. Does that really happen? If so, I'm really out of words. These companies really deserve to go under.

This show has some TERRIBLE sound mixing. It's usually hard to tell if sm is good or bad, cause it's barely noticable (and that's the point). But here, the conversations and music clash with each other so hard...

A bit of a side comment, but does anyone else feel that the intro music sounds very cheap? I feel like it is some kind of free jingle for an ad...

It's starting to get a bit makjang-ish, but I don't hate it. Also, this episode really makes it clear who has the most interesting plot and development - not the young cast, unfortunately

I'm curious what you guys think about PO's acting..?
I'm really torn. At the same time, I feel that he's portraying his character pretty well, but sth feels off. He has a really unusual face I guess? I keep thinking how the character would be portrayed by other actors. Cause I can't lie, his character really stands out in this drama in one way or another

The bit where he is out with his daughter and she comments where he never throws away anything he loves I wanted…
I think it fits her character of not wanting to burden her parents, but you're right!
