It happened with both Mr Queen and Agency which had huge ratings too, so I have high hopes, especially that Viki doesn't really promote it. I think it's a matter of time. However it's not the typical Netflix romance type of kdrama...

This is one of my top anticipated dramas this year. It looks rad, from the screenwriter, to director and actors. Also, second couple are ex-lovers? I love that dynamic, and it was so well done in OBS <3

From more recent dramas (tho it's def not slow burn haha), the romance I enjoyed the most was A Journey To Love. It had crazy chemistry, was pretty mature and the comedy was to die for. Pretty much everything works there, similar to Knight Flower. But I never finished it cause the ending... Let a lot to be desired, to say the least.

I thought that Lost is the perfect kind of drama for me, but I felt soo bored with the first few episodes 😭 No idea why I couldn't connect to it at all... I envy all people who enjoyed it, honestly

But her dying doesn't change the fact that we were mad that she's even there and wasting the drama's airtime. So if someone dropped the rating cause of her, I don't think her death will change it. It was expected that she'll end badly anyway

It's not that we hated her character. I mean we did, but we also hated MH and SM. But they were entertaining in their own way. But Yura was an afterthought and had no real purpose in the story.

I love tsundere men in my romances too ngl 😆

My main question is - why did they wear 2023 clothes in 2013. Gimme that bad clothes, bad makeup, not this clean girl and quiet luxury aesthetics, I want to see it all XD

My point wasn't to bash on him cause he's 29 and yet to complete military service. I know that it can be delayed due to various reasons. It was to express my disbelief at his age cause he looks older, especially in MMH. I have no business in judging whether and when anyone completes their military service, I'm not Korean. No idea why you have to be so passive agressive and judgy when you were the one who misunderstood.

I am well aware of it. I just didn't think he's so young. I thought that he's >35, at that age he would have to have his military service completed, if he wasn't exempted.

Also, movies tend to get lower ratings on MDL compared to TV series...

Yes! But it's not a typical romance, no skinship.

Also, when I saw Jong Won's age, I was so afraid that we'll lose yet another actor to military just after his breakthrough drama, but no, he's already served in the military 😆 I'm so glad, in the recent influx of idol actors he's a shining star. I also love that he got a major role even after starring in a queer role in XX, I have high hopes for the industry changing, even a little bit at a time. After I finish Knight Flower rewatch, time for XX rewatch!

I am rewatching fron the beginning, and it's crazy how tightly they filled the show with major events and action. Plots I initially thought were shown in the span of 2-3 episodes were actually way more condensed. There was barely any filler! The romance also moved pretty fast. Even tho the episodes were just over an hour, they felt like at least an hour an a half, in the best of ways! Would have loved more eps and I can't refuse some romantic or comedic filler, but this was so well thought-out, it's crazy. Don't really see such dramas in today's landscape. Everything was perfect: the actors, screenplay, directing, music!

One of the few dramas where the timeskip was needed so much. She had to get time to mourn her brother, not even mentioning that she's been locked up for so long.
