And I like how someone phrased it in comments above - that SH is "tempting"our innocent FL ๐ Even if she didn't give in in the start, I have no hope for her in the future!

Thank you haha! I know, right, its crazy how hot the chemistry is here! I've been constantly complaining on the current dramas regarding how the leads seem to have a relationship as innocent as 12 year olds, even tho they are just under 30. Completely unbelievable, tbh. But here, even though this is their first relationship, there is no skinship, and the show is set in Joseon, the chemistry is sizzling. And it's not a chemistry between teenagers of sth, it's just like you said, pretty sexual ๐ In most cases I wouldn't start a romance dramas without a kiss. But this drama's chemistry is not innocent in the least ๐
Hahaha thank you ๐ the drama really did a lot of foreshadowing, especially in the first episodes, that's why I'm doing a rewatch rn! I never put that much attention to the theme of "catching" FL by ML, but just like you mentioned in your comments above, it turned out to be a very important lead for the final scene haha!
YH left for a year, not wanting to be anyone's wife, daughter etc. And then we got a time skip and a scene where our lovebirds meet and SH says that he finally caught her! He grabs her in his arms and then it cuts before (potential) kiss ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ it's enough for me!
I'm in the middle of rewatching ep1 and I have a very strong feeling that the drama will end the same way it started - our FL in danger, and ML taking her into his arms and saving her. Funny music, THE END. I highly doubt we'll get a more satisfying conclusion or skinship for our main couple, but it should end on a positive note.
Besides the fact that the show is a comedy, what keeps me positive is the way that the second widow's plot has ended - happily in love, getting away from all her troubles.
Maybe I'm rumbling but I really need something to keep me positive till tomorrow >< Especially with the ep12 preview. It's more dramatic than I thought, and I'm not sure it's necessary. The whole show they for the most part avoided major drama...
If any of you have another arguments for happy ending, I will happily read them ><
What the fuck was that ending?!! Why is everyone saying it's happy ending?! HOW?? Spoilerโ
There are 2 camps of people, one considers it a HE and the other a BE, just like you pointed out. In my mind, this was the worst possible ending. I'd rather they show the king reincarnating, which at the time of watching, I considered to be my least favourite option. So you are completely right...

I actually have a pretty big trauma, whenever I watch ongoing dramas I truly care about, the ending turns out to be pretty bad. I was heartbroken for like 2 weeks after watching Mr Queen, and recently A Journey to Love messed me up pretty bad too. So even tho I know that this is a comedy, and every sign is pointing us towards a happy ending, I feel really uneasy that our cute leads will end up separated. I'm too old for this, goddammit...

One of my favorite scenes in this drama has got to be episode 9 where Park Soo Ho realized it was Lady Cho threatening…
Yes and how when he realized it's her under the mask, he just hid his sword, even tho she was still holding her sword to his brother's neck ๐ Like that's ultimate trust right there
JR's husband is still after her money. It can't pass yet until the cheating is proven and he's put into jail.…
That's another thing - why didn't JR just set up cameras in their apartment. They just went in and ruined the whole investigation in hopes that her husband will get it on with the girl in 10 mins.

2. Park Yoon Hak + Yeon Seon (second couple)
3. Bi Chan + Hwang Yi Kyung (very minor couple)
