Exactly my thoughts! No matter if it's day or night in the drama, the actors' faces are overexposed to the light. One reason I thought that may be is trying to make their faces as light as possible (due to beauty standards)...

That's interesting to hear! I even tried to compare it to other dramas, to be sure it's not a problem with my TV. But I'm not watching on iqiyi (not available in my region), so the quality issues may be partly due to that...

The lighting is so weird to me, it is very very bright, it's weird but because of that the series loses its atmosphere imo

Some of us might turn a blind eye on all the choking etc cause it's a drama, but be for real, it's not surprising that others consider him a red flag. It's valid.

What other good dramas have such a steamy romance between the leads? Preferably, that has more screentime longer than here. Damn, I just can't get this one out of my head... Kdramas romances are cute but I need something more steamy rn lol

It's pretty nice, major Business Proposal vibes for sure. Recently I'm not so much into the try-hard over-the-top comedy that kdramas romcoms have been giving, cause every joke feels like I've seen it somewhere before. But here it's not so bad, mainly thanks to the actors. Especially Joo Hyun Young is a gem.

Same... I rarely watch ongoing dramas because of that. Here I made an exception and I'm already regretting... like during christmas eve I'll be already waiting for next week's episode? Ehh

I have mixed feelings about this one... I came looking for a romance, not gonna lie, and the chemistry was off the charts, but for 38 episodes it was barely enough (also the choking was a bit much). I am left feeling very unsatisfied unfortunately... well, I could have expected that, I read the reviews beforehand. I hoped that at least there will be something more to Fangyin's romance, but no. Ehh, I want more ><

Yeah, ever since airing there were a bunch of people screaming that others have no business expecting the kids' plot to come back CAUSE THE MAIN CHARACTERS ARE ADULTS. But just like you said, for 7 eps straight (which is a major part of the show), the kids are main leads. It's not groundless to expect their plot to have a proper ending. Besides, if we went by screentime, Zo In Sung is in no way a ML, he has barely any screentime. So what is the logic? He is a main character only cause he was in promotional materials? These people don't make any sense

Is it just me, or does the FL sound too flat and monotone? It's my first drama with Bai Lu so I don't know if she's the one dubbing it, but it's not the best... Even for a character who is supposed to be more experienced for her age.

I'd rather have a great TV show than good faithful adaptation. If anyone wants to go back to the webtoon, they can anytime. Why make the show the same as the webtoon?

I mean - married before they start to have feelings for each other.

Do we get actual marriage in this? I love contract marriage trope, but I want them to ACTUALLY get married, not like Business Proposal or sth...
