He didn't do anything more? Just cause he was trying to act like a person with amnesia. After he revealed the truth to FL, he made her sign a slave contract, didn't allow her to go home late at night just because, was pretty much torturing her emotionally. And sinse you will probably answer that it is justifiable cause of her revenge on him - it is his presumed love interest and we're 7-8 episodes in already, so it was pretty disgusting to me.

Also, I don't wanna push US morals on anyone as I have never even been there lol. Plus, korean culture being a certain kind of way doesn't mean I can't expect better from a ML in a romcom especially that we're supposed to like him in the end, but everything good he's done for his employees was because of FL's revenge.

He was actively mistreating everybody in the company, forcing them to work overtime, shouting at them, focusing only on results and the money they bring him. That aren't no " those supposedly terrible things " z this is heavy mobbing and he should be facing heavy lawsuits. Just because he apologizes once, and because the FL - not him! - takes action to improve the working conditions in the company, it isn't "paying for it".

Don't worry, you're totally right to share your view. I have no idea why some people think that you're not allowed to give a critical, but well-balanced and sensible opinion but rather drop it and don't speak another word. It's a place for discussion for God's sake

The 'crazy' FL of the end of the first episode / start of the second indeed never appears again. Or at least not…
Unfortunately very true...

I realised I have problems with romcoms with a significant power imbalance. It's really hard to do it well, and there are 2 ways to do it: assuming the ML is a wealthy CEO or similar, the FL has to have a really strong character if she works under him (re: what's wrong with secretary kim, strong woman DBS, Business Proposal), or the FL has a totally different line of career and his power can't affect her that much. Here was the worst possible combination for me: a bossy, wealthy CEO and his timid secretary. Her falling in love with him was so bizarre. Not one moment did I feel that they are on the same level. Kim Jae Wok is fantastic in his role, but Krystal was just disappearing when with him, whether it was because of her acting or the script. It was cool the few times she got angry at him, but it was few and far between.

Also, most of the comedic elements just didn't work for me. Im Won Ter just plays the same role in every show he's in and I didn't even enjoy it the first time. I felt like no effort was put into it.

Overall, a disappointment for me but I cen see why others may like it.

Well I guess you're right overall - it was good that she provided a reason to vote against her brother, but if I'm correct, no one except her grandpa and Woowon Group's chairman did? So she might have affected the overall feeling towards her brother among the shareholders, but not the voting itself.

Also, looking back - was Hanna's presentation really necessary? To me, eps 15 and 16 were kinda underwhalming - I wish that we got more focus on Ah In's personal life, some more scenes with her mother, maybe her starting to go on therapy or going on a date? All of those plotlines didn't get a proper ending imo. I feel like after ep 14 when she showed her morality and not being a pushover she didn't get any more proper development.

They spent way too much time on the fight over VC's position. I never really cared about it or Hanna's plotline overall. Neither Hanna nor her brother are competent enough for that position. Therefore, I liked how the proper businessman won in the end.

Also ending it with Ah In establishing her own company felt a bit out of place - for a show that convinces you for 15 episodes straight that it's hard to enter that business when you're not part of a conglomerate, and that earning money is not easy, it felt too much like a fairytale.

Don't even get me started on that ridiculous plot with the grandma and the father agreeing to Aji changing his name... what is with this spoiling... Or can maybe someone tell me if it's that uncommon and weird name in Korea, then fine I guess...

Bad ending and mediocre beggining, if you're looking for a show to clean/cook dinner to, this one will be fine I guess. A lot of people pointed out other stupidities, but for me one that's not mentioned enough is Gwon Se Jin coming back from the US by PLANE in order to give information that could have easily been communicated over the phone XD

Re: "culture"So if it's part of culture in a country to marry 12year olds to 40yo men, we should consider it fine?…
It's either "He's a public figure. Of course people are gonna talk about it and have their opinions on the matter..." or "Stop defending him.". It seems to me that while you admit that people will have their opinions om him, they should not be favourable. And that's a problem to me - especially that a lot of people just point out that we don't know his circumstances (where he exactly did drugs cause maybe it was abroad, and what was his reason). I get your point about addicts harming their family. But as far as we know, just like @Popcxqueen pointed out, there is no proof that it's the case here. At least one thing we know, he most likely doesn't have a kid, so harming a person which is not an adult is out of the question. Which ofc doesn't mean nobody else is hurt by his actions but let me reiterate - we don't know that.

About advocating for other causes: my point is not advocating here for korean rights for MJ, which would still be ok. My country doesn't legalise it either and I can't see why it isn't a battle worth fighting. But here I am defending yet another person from Korea who is bashed online. It happens again and again and especially in kpop fandoms. Here at least the actor is an adult. But I am sick of the whole internet being self righteous and hating on a person who should suffer legally, not by getting hate. Why should his work suffer?

Re: "culture"

So if it's part of culture in a country to marry 12year olds to 40yo men, we should consider it fine? Or if children labour is legal, everyone should make no comment on that too? A culture is not and should not be something untouchable and we def should strive to live in a better and fairer world, no matter what their customs or laws are.

Re "let him face the consequences"

He didn't harm anyone. He didn't make any trouble that we know of. He was just minding his own business. If he'll be punished by law, that's that, but there is no place for the public bashing him.

Besides, you don't know what are his circumstances. Why are you judging him if you know nothing? What he used it for?

Re: "most people who are addicted to drugs started with marijuana"

But how many people who start with marijuana get addicted to other drugs? I can say that most people who are addicted to drugs started with drinking their mothers milk when they were kids, so what?

Life isn't black and white. People can use marijuana for health purposes. People can use LSD for health purposes. If you use it wisely, it might not be bad for you. The same goes with alcohol. And we have no reason to believe it was different for him, and even if it was, it's his own health, he can only harm himself.

Yeah. Also, he's probably seeing that a lot of kids in his kindergarden have mums to take care of them full time. He doesn't want his father to leave his job, but his mother, just because that's what everyone else has.

Don't get me wrong, the show is pretty good, but seriously, what is this with Hanna's plotline? She is supposed to be smart or sth but as of ep 9 the most impressive thing she did was gain some insta followers. Everyone says she has a great instinct or whatnot but I feel like she has to get even the most basic lessons from everybody all the time. Like not fire everybody after just 1 mistake, dress appropriately or not throw a tantrum like a 3 yo. We haven't seen her work in her position even for a minute, as she's so invested in bossing everyone around. There's a limit of bad behaviours, when she isn't just quirky anymore, but she's shallow, spoiled, unexperienced and uneducated. I would hate to have a person like that be my co-worker on the same level, but my boss? I'd start looking for another job. Srsly, her brother seems way more suitable to be the next chairman. Also, I see no chemistry between her and secretary Park. Get him a woman not a lady-child.

"Lighter & Princess was very popular. Should those who have watched it change their scoring to 1 just because Arthur Chen slept with a woman at a hotel? Should those that are planning to watch it, not watch it at all because of it?"

What even is this question? Are you kidding me? Are we 12 or what?

Yes, I was planning to watch it and I definitely am still watching it, unless his behaviour is of like Ezra Miller's level of craziness. If it does not harm anybody & is consensual, then I don't care, it's his life and we're all people who make mistakes. If this even can be called a mistake. Also, if the lady's married, she is the one responsible for hurting her husband.

This change of main theme from FL's coping with her job change to political struggle truly came a bit out of place. And thanks to that I felt like the FL wasn't a part of the main theme (which in the end turned out to be the political one) until like ep 10. Like everyone focused on the murders by that point, while she was still struggling with her cases.

Title Mr. Queen Spoiler
Oh, it's good. The ending on the other hand had the audience split: there are ones who think it's a happy ending,…
Well, in the end the chef who was inside the Queen's body comes back to the future and Queen's original soul comes inside her body once again. Soo:
- The chef is separated from his friends, his beloved one, and his kid who was still in the womb, with basically no goodbye,
- The king is left there thinking his beloved is still the same person, even though Queen's behaviour is totally different from the chef's

Some people are happy with the ending, as they believe that the original queen was the one pulling the strings the entire time (and the one who fell in love with the king). They feel that the chef didn't love the king, it was all the queen. I, and many others however feel that the queen was barely shown in the series, and the chef was the main character all along (only to some extent influenced by female hormones and queen's memories I guess) and was the one inlove with the king. But in the end the queen got everything she didn't deserve and fight for: friends, love, kid.
