It's my bday today and I wanted to see who I share it with, and to my surprise, its Joo Jong Hyuk's bday today as well, what a coincidence >< happy birthday and I hope people will not mistake you with Min Woo!
Haha same. I just watch there remaining episodes on illegal websites. It sucks but it's better for me than waiting…
Actually in Poland (don't know bout other countries) watching on streaming sites is legal, you just can't download and share a drama (so what those sites do is illegal but you watching them isn't haha). But I get your point, I'd rather get a VPN and enjoy the HD but it's so freaking expensive (on top of Netflix) and I don't know how to use it on a smart TV haha
Was there ever an explanation for the ML father's death? Bc what I'm thinking is somehow the ML father found Eun…
Also, just 1 more thing that was never explained - how did the murdered know about the fridge? Maybe the stalker admitted that, but how did the murderer even know to ask about that...
he's simply a psycho. not all killing incidences need a reason
Yeah but did he kill all those people? He didn't, he went about his day and then stumbled upon DH. Also he attacked only 1 girl, and was clearly happy for attacking the stalker. So the 'little girls' killer theory doesn't really hold up either...
So we watched the male lead cry over and over and over again ,,, we got to see the female lead break up and gets…
Yeah... we got 16 eps for a murderer believing that he was soo smart that nobody ever found him when: - FL knew who he was all along and could get back her memories any time - the stalker was a kid at the time and could tell who the murderer was any time - his cop friend could connect him to the murder - the guy who met the sibling could turn himself in any time - his partner in crime was murdered and his death could be investigated any time...
There was no investigation on the killer. FL just basically remembered who he was, if she looked for the red gate from the start, the show would be wrapped up in 6 eps tops. Let's just face it, it's a pretty basic mystery even for a movie. And not giving the murderer even a background or motivation? You can do that, but he's way too stupid to consider him some top level psycho... Not sure what to think about it all.
It's gonna be so good. Although it's a completely different show, I'm getting 'It's Okay, That's Love' vibes from…
I think these two are actually two different shows - the one I mentioned is from 2014, with Gong Hyo-Jin >.< But no wonder if you got confused, as "It's OK to Not be OK" is brought out more often when talking about EAW 😅 'It's Okay, That's Love' is actually not that similar in terms of overall plot and even characters (and doesn't show characters with autism if I recall correctly), but shows a lot of relationships where one or even both sides deal with various mental issues, and does that very well
Theories for the last 8 episodes.1. Somehow Min-Woo will find out who Young-Woo's mother is and post it in an…
1. That is one take on it, but I also feel that it would be major turning point for YW's mother to reveal it on her own. Choosing her daughter over a governmental position. I'd like to see that and from what we've learnt about her so far, it could be possible.
Writer Moon on Young Woo and Jun Ho Couple: 'If you focus on building up exciting emotions in the 1st half, deep…
It's gonna be so good. Although it's a completely different show, I'm getting 'It's Okay, That's Love' vibes from that description. Not a 'we're a long forgotten childhood friends and your mom killed mine and we can't be together' kind of bullshit, but actual problems. I'm so excited to see both of them grow <3
imagine watching this by skipping scenes or faster speed, obviously its going to be slow and boring. there is…
Here comes the 'you're not mature enough to understand this show' argument. Myself and a lot of people have provided many arguments why we did not enjoy the way the show developed in the latter episodes. And we did it without insulting the viewers which enjoyed this show. Good for you that you liked it. I don't feel like I am inclined to prove to you how intelligent and mature I am just so I can watch a drama and share my opinion on it.
There’s definitely nothing wrong with falling for someone’s looks but that’s the opposite impression I got…
To me the wedding dress scene is about changing his perspective from 'she's my good friend' to ' damn, she's actually a girlfriend material' and there is 0 wrong with that. With my current boyfriend, we were colleagues for a few years, and it wasn't till I actually saw how fine he got after many months of attending gym that I finally considered him a romantic interest XD
Finally got around to watching eps 7 and 8. They were literally so good. The only thing I don't like about this show is the withdrawal syndrome it will give me.
The show has such a nice pace, all thanks to characters talking to each other. There aren't unnecessary misteries, and even though characters are sometimes interrupted, the very next time they are able to get the message across. Whereas in other dramas, characters get interrupted 3, 4 times in a row, then decide to keep it a secret, and maybe after 16 episodes finally talk to each other. We are 8eps in and I already see a lot of growth in YW, MS, SY and I can feel that JH and WYW's mother arcs are just around the corner.
Also, somehow I thought that when WYW asked JH if he likes her, she kinda asked it 'by mistake' (repeating the practice with her friend) and she didn't care that he changed the subject, based on her reaction. It's good to know that she actually took it to her heart, even if it was hard to see that on her face. I feel that it gives people (including me) better understanding of autistic people (based on the mainly positive reactions from the community).
Some ways to make this season worthwhile: - Just skip Boring Babi and give us Soonrok. That would give Yumi more time to get over Woong and still a lot of time would be left for Soonrok. - Give Woong a proper arc to show us he's changed. Ex-couples get together all the time. DO NOT show him to us just to show him suffer again! - Just let Yumi get together with Chief Editor, he was hella funny and a breath of fresh air in this season. She breaks up with Babi next ep anyway - Develop Babi and his cells and let him end with Yumi. They gave him 70% of Soonrok scenes anyway. But this would require some chemistry in their boring ass relationship.
Honestly, it seems like the writers just mindlessly adapted the webtoon, and then they realized that they have no more time so just leave it as it is. They had 28 HOURS to wrap up the story. Whole 2nd season just feels like wasted time. No fun side characters (except guest appearances from Woong and chief editor), no real change in Yumi, no proper interesting male lead. And especially episodes after breaking up with Babi - WHY WOULD THEY GET BACK TOGETHER WHEN YOU COULD DO SOMETHING INTERESTING IN THIS TIME.
And don't get me wrong - Yumi ending solo is an alright ending for me as well, showing us her character development (if she had one this season). But def not teasing Soonrook when you just had a 14 ep long season and decided to waste it on Babi.
I watched S1 a year ago and I can tell more about S1 than S2 which I have been watching for the last month. It's like drinking a luke-warm beer after just having a freezing-cold one. Rant is over, I'm just so disappointed. I spend a way better time reading Soonrok's arc in webtoon than watching this season. Meh.
