Personally I donot think Tae soo mi is evil. I would have understood her being called evil if she had abandoned…
Yeah, I think TSM is into major clean up mode in hopes of preventing the impending sh*t storm brewing that will sidetrack her lifelong quest. I absolutely feel that YW's dad broke his promise for accepting the baby, and just the fact that she showed aptitude for legal matters, he should have kept his promise and maybe even leave the country. Honestly he had to have his head up his butt if he didn't at any time over the past 27 years seen the progress of TSM's career, and that WYW becoming a lawyer something like this was bound to happen. If he didn't anticipate it coming, then he's a pretty crappy lawyer, or if he did then he was lying to TSM and the promise he made a hollow one.
While the confrontation at the end of ep 10 showed TSM mean person, honestly I can see her being truly justified as the horror of her being betrayed by YW's dad after she had worked so hard for the past 27 years to obtain could so easily get wiped away. Just goes to show, never change your mind, if she had kept with the famiiy's decision and not cave in to the pleading - but then we wouldn't have had this series.

Btw, abortion was illegal in SK until recently. But having a rich family would have solved the problem, sure.
So true, given that she was able to "disappear" for a year with the story that she left for studies overseas, with the power of her family they could have easily cleaned the slate.

I'll never get tired of Young Woo's court scenes.
She's a delight to watch in court and out, and always awaiting the moment her whale sails into any room and her bangs blow aside. I was saddened with the outcome of the case, but honestly is more realistic than him just getting off and the two lovers walking off into the sunset. The scene of YW connecting with the witness had me in stitches discussing the "gigolo like bastard", I had hoped he might get off but there is too much ill view in the public of his actions that the two of them being in love was irrelevant.
I am enjoying the cases as she is not winning all of them, but she is showing her tenacity, passion and her intellect along with her perfect photographic memory. Her courtroom skills are sharpening and I suspect the final episodes will probably be a huge battle with TSM, if the direction of that goes where I am guessing.

first the eyelash scene, then the "jealousy" scene in cafeteria (Joon Ho looked so freaking hot in this scene…
removing an eyelash is downright impossible when you keep staring in her eyes instead of the lash! So adorable!!!!

Ep 9 was phenomenal. Each episode gets better and better and I don't know how that's even possible when the episodes…
Yeah, Attorney Jung is an absolute stand up guy. In ep 1, I really thought he would be a stick in the mud, but as the series progressed he shows so much honor and respect for all his staff. Also, while it appears he is sometimes broadsided by WYW's revelations, he's not egotistical and trying to take credit. But he is also willing to take the entire responsibility and accountability when things inadvertently go south as well (like creating problems with that doctor's billion won contract).
But this latest episode really hit well him as a manager - he was the grown up in the conversation with MW when he just told him to talk it out like people rather than doing everything underhanded, going behind her back. Also showed he's not as oblivious as he may sometimes appear.

wow - just wow! Ep 9, so drop dead gorgeous when SY walked in dressed up!

Just incredible her facial expression change just a couple seconds showed how it sank in. She was devastated,…
Yes, acknowledgement by the mother, or even from the grandparents. But it looks for sure her candidacy for the ministry position just went down the tubes - unless the grandfather goes extremely dark and tries something absurd.
And imagine WYW later knowing she has a half brother, which we have yet to see, merely a short reference in earlier episode.
Another quite nice series, albeit long at 50 episodes is Homemade Love Story, she is one of several mothers, but she transforms (in my eyes) from a dying weed into a beautiful flower that her husband finally treasures. It's long, but I used binge techniques, so I missed a lot...

I've changed my mind. I don't care if Min Woo changes or not. I just know I don't want Geurami to be with him,…
Yeah, at this point he's very near the threshold for me if he's even redeemable. But yeah, every time he's in a scene may as well put a sinister mustache on him.

yeah, and her totally standing up for WYW over the nepotism article in front of all her colleagues. She confronts and exposes MW as the author of that piece was fantastic.
But I thinking for some reason MW may turn around (hopefully) and he may eventually wind up standing up for WYW in later episode. If not, then he will be one unredeemable dik.

I agree with you. We can't blame the mom because it's the father that insisted to go through the pregnancy and…
I think she deep down wanted the baby but had to relent to family pressure and of course her own ambitions. But I'm sure after the pleading from the WYW's dad, I'm think she had to do a lot of begging of her own to her father to allow her to have the baby instead of aborting. Which is then why the elaborate coverup story of her studying overseas.
But seriously how heartbreaking when she asked if WYW resented her, to which the reply was how it was nice to have met her. It's interesting in spite of WYW condition, her emotions come through but in a muted way.

It was heartbreaking watching her revelation. I was actually wondering from her earlier episodes if she was really pretending or lying that she didn't know who WYW was, but seeing that expression change just told me she was absolutely broadsided and she was totally oblivious to it in the earlier episodes.
Jin Kyung is quite interesting, I watched her in a 2016 movie "Beasts Clawing at Straws" where she sort of played the hapless heroine in a way. Quite the contrast but she's a terrific actress although she has been doing mainly supporting roles. She has quite a commanding look to her and can carry herself in big roles.

I love that we can see her still standing up for Young Woo in the next ep! Every time I think she's going to turn…
Yes totally in love with her. Since she found out that Jun Ho has feelings for WYW, initially I thought she would turn into an evil 2FL, but so refreshing she became her wingman. Loved her in this episode trying to get JunHo and WYW to start to embrace their feelings for each other. Also SY seemed genuine when grilling JH about the constant whale trivia as that will not go away, and she didn't want to see WYW hurt in the long run should JH get tired of that.
On Extraordinary Attorney Woo Jul 21, 2022
The more I see the reaction of Tae Soo Mi, she appears to have a good poker face towards WYW. It would be very interesting if she is the real mother, or if she even suspects she has a living daughter? I'm wondering if the child was given up at child birth but she was told it was still born? Maybe even something the grandfather orchestrated? Her expressions are either genuine or she's really good at lying.
Anxiously awaiting episodes for the reveal!!!

oh yes - superiority thing! He's 1. a Male 2. Good Looking 3. Good Lawyer 4. Tall 5. Dapper Dresser. and in spite all that he's trails behind WYW in legals. His ego can't take it.

Yes, I feel the same. Hopefully there is going to some redeeming development on his part. I really do like his character so far, including how Rami seems to be enamored of him, but definitely this guy has issues. Actually it almost appears he is bipolar - I mean he seems to be fairly reasonable and quite affable any other time or situation, but like he has a total switch as soon as he thinks about WYW? It's like whenever he thinks about her something triggers him and he's turns into a monster.

I’m actually happy min woo’s character is in the show. He’s the PERFECT portrayal of how slight comments…
Min Woo is an interesting character. After that last blowout with Soo Yeon for giving away his ride back to the firm he revealed a bit of his inner feelings. He may not have had any privileges based on family or background, and he is honestly trying to get his full time on his own hard work. He let out that even SY has his father's connections that was likely helpful with her placement in the firm. MW after seeing WYW's dad coming out of the CEO office, he finally connected that her placement might be due to an unfair situation. I think in early episodes he was perplexed that everyone was giving WYW special treatment due to her autism, but knows now that it might be favoritism thing. I suspect regardless of WYW's abilities, Min Woo feels he is fighting an uphill battle to get his full time despite trying his best (which was always just a bit less than WYW) now realizing that regardless of how well he does he might not get it due to the connection between WYW and the CEO.
