Acting in two dramas titled "Manager Kim" would be an odd thing to do.

Wasn't he supposed to be stiff and emotionless for that part? He was a heartless gangster looking for revenge.

There is an older drama with the same name. That might be why they changed it. It would be a bummer if people ignored it thinking it's the same drama. It's a good idea to change it, even though the new title wasn't really a good second choice.

I can tell by the first episode that this is going to be awesome. Totally my style. I love the comedy and the action. It matches my sense of humor perfectly. I was sold on the action from the first action scene, and I was sold on the comedy the moment Oh Jong Se woke up after the hypnosis. Hilarious.

I think Jeon Somin was scheduled to appear as a guest sometime before he joined. The current PD is the one who is responsible for inviting her back as a guest. She is appearing to promote her next project. Not really the PD's idea, more like a PR decision that was done by her project's team.

Possibility for season 4? I'm curious about the pottery case. I also miss Madam Lim, even though she is only the sister. This season's cases weren't as exciting as the previous seasons'. It took me awhile to finish it. I would still welcome a fourth season, especially if Madam Lim would be included.

I really wish they would stop mentioning the boyfriend. It's very distasteful. These episodes will be out and watched even after they breakup. It's not even funny or adding anything to the show. It's just annoying at this point. Find another character. There are plenty of options other than "the one who is looking for a boyfriend", and "the one with the boyfriend".

I haven't watched the show so I can't really speak confidently about this topic, but I think what the OP is trying to say is that a level 1 autistic woman with very high IQ would most likely resort to masking to the point where she almost blends among the neurotypicals, which is true, and it's the reason why females are rarely diagnosed with autism. It is very uncommon to see level 1 autistic female with high IQ not being able or not resorting to masking. (I haven't seen the show yet so I don't know if she really has no masking skills, but I've seen the trailer and I was kind of put off by the portrayal too, because it was similar to Good Doctor who was barely communicating. Some misinformed writers/directors mash so many autism traits in one person and do not realize that with their high IQ, they realistically would've probably been able to mask them). This is not to say that there aren't autistic people who would behave like this. It's just very uncommon among this specific category of people that the show is trying to portray (female + high IQ + level 1). I'm not sure about the "we are not child-like, innocent, or naive" claim though, maybe she means that "not all of us are" but misspoke, because these are common personality traits, even though it can't be generalized.

At this point, it seems targeted. They couldn't get him with that controversy, now it's this controversy (I know it's different accusers to different type of controversy but I just find the chain of controversies hilarious). I hope he finds a way to get past this. Not a fan, but I kind of feel bad for him.

I understand that, but they could've labeled it as "Best Breakthrough Actors" or something like that. Something less offensive to the actor who has been acting for 10+ years.

Might as well call it the Netflix awards. Some of these are laughable.

How is Jung Sung Il a new actor though? He didn't find that insulting?

I would watch this only for the supporting actors.

I didn't hate it only because I guessed the killer, I didn't like it because I predicted everything else moving forward.

The 3/10 is because I care for the story and flow more. I can watch great actors elsewhere. 6-10 is reserved for what I find enjoyable and this one wasn't for me, so it wouldn't be honest. I respect your opinion about it though.

You seem like a diehard fan so I'm not going to argue with you. You didn't find it predictable but I did, and yes, the whole thing was predictable. It didn't get spoiled for me. I watched the first few episodes while it was airing, and I guessed the killer from the first episode. After that, I can see clearly how they did it or were doing it. Everything was so obvious that I couldn't engage with it, so I kept dragging it until it finished airing, and I merely finished it as a chore, and because I thought, maybe just maybe, I could be wrong about my conclusion and there would be a twist.

About it being cliche, it is a cliche, that's how I guessed it. 1. Have you seen the movie Se7en? The theme is so similar, and you can't ignore the resemblance. This theme has been re-done so many times, even in detective series. 2. The identity of the killer is so easy to figure out, as soon as you see the backstory in the first episode, because in most thrillers, "everything is not as it seems at the beginning", so if you reverse it, you get your "twist". To me, the biggest twist would be to have no twist at all (or at least make it so hard to figure out) which rarely is achieved in thrillers.

Acting and production is superb, hence my 3 stars out of 10. That was not what I didn't like about the drama, and my rating isn't because I didn't understand it, it's because I understood it too well that it wasn't new to me.

From a scientific point of view, a psychopath is incapable of "living with the consequences". From an economic point of view, why bother spend that much money just to teach him a lesson. From a social point of view, what about the pain of the family of the victims? Wouldn't death make them more relieved? What about the society that has to deal with such a monster after they get out because they were considered "rehabilitated" only for more victims to fall?

It is bad if you figure out the ending early on. I did, and it was so boring for me afterwards, and I'm talking like since episode 1, even the process becomes too obvious. I gave it 3 just for production and acting, otherwise I would give it a zero if I could. It is a cliche if you watch a lot of thrillers.

Looking at the comments, it seems polarizing. I kept postponing watching it even though it's Ha Jung Woo and Kim Nam Gil, my favorite actors. It's only 1h30m, how bad can it be? It's hard to consider such a short movie as a waste of time, but some people did, which scares me away from watching it.

It was comical in a way, but that wasn't a bomb. It's a microwave. A kid would know how to start a fire with a microwave. They tell you to warn you before you use one. But yes, the killer was invincible in a comical way. Hit by an iron and his legs were hammered, yet he managed to do a lot of things with these injuries like they were nothing. The main lead also managed to pull a small tree with one hand, the same tree that knocked the killer unconscious. Like if it was that heavy, how come he managed to pull it with no effort at all?

I think the point was that nobody cared, even if they saw. They won't pat an eye if they heard a scream. The lady who was interviewed at the beginning by the police said that they won't inspect a scream if they heard one in case it's "a husband hitting his wife". Like that's none of their business.

Except for the final encounter which I thought was comical, the movie was very good. Intense, makes you think, empathize, and feel guilt and regret for the lost lives.
