Title The Roundup
I enjoyed this more than the first one. I thought the first one had more of a serious note which didn't suit it, so I was postponing watching this, thinking it would be the same. However, it turned out it was funnier than I expected

About the using the guns comfortably: so far (I am starting EP8) most of the users were men and there is mandatory…
I forgot about those guys, but still we have the old lady who woke up an assassin. I also don't think you can get comfortable with shooting someone (or multiples) after one day at the shooting range (or ever), but I will let it slide. The first guy I think was the most unrealistic one to be honest. He went to therapy because he was afraid to act on his emotions but kept a whole lot of guns inside his bed. I mean isn't getting rid of you guns the first thing you do so that you don't get tempted, even before going to therapy?

P.S. The first part with the uni-shooting was in his imagination.

#fiction#forentertainmentonlyThere is more to this than guns..it's what pushes people to use them..Maybe 10 episodes…
I would rather be entertained by something that isn't silly to the point of being funny. I love mindless action, just not mindless action that pretends to be more sophisticated than it is. It doesn't even make a realistic societal view. Not all people who get a gun would use it. It pretends that it's a reflection of society when it is highly "imaginative". If they haven't done enough in 10 episodes, they won't do it in more. I only have the last episode to go and they still haven't gotten to their story.

I don't think I remember seeing a grown man using them (except for cops and villains). I was talking about the old lady and the two high school boys. They haven't had any mandatory service, and they are not trained, but they handled it like it's so easy. What man were you referring to? I only remember those three.

Too unrealistic yet too predictable. The script is too silly. Guns to the same person are both scary and so easy to use. One moment they fall down because they can't believe something that scary is in their presence, the next they are using it so comfortably. The idea that anyone will use a gun once given one is so silly, I can't really digest it. Abused or not, most people don't stomach the idea of taking a life away even if it's an evil one. "Guns in Korea? Are you crazy!", and then BAAM, let's all sing and whistle while we hand them out like candies to babies. Watching this just for Kim Nam Gil, but I'm really not buying it.

Idk if I'd call it racist but it's true that South Korea has a track record of deeming curly hair as unattractive…
Not sure how this is relevant. I think people should stop associating tangled hair with curly hair. You can be curly but do not have a tangled hair. Same as with straight vs thin/dull. You can have both, either or none, they are not mutually exclusive. Curly hair isn't bad and they didn't say it's bad. This character has a tangled hair which is bad, and it's why people of all hair types brush their hair. They are not mocking her for her curly hair, but conveying her problems with her tangled hair. It isn't the same. Also, you can have a straight and tangled hair. Tangled hair isn't a feature that only happens when the hair is curly. It's just that curly hair is more famously harder to manage.

Yoon Kye Sang is my favorite actor, but I'm really having a hard time watching this. I wanted to watch a story of an underdog. While their team is supposedly an underdog, because the players aren't all that good, the fact that it's just a regular high school team with no challenges makes this boring. The story itself is cliche. It is the number #1 go-to story when they make a sport movie or drama. A disgraced well-known coach is assigned to coach a bunch of misfits. The thing is, that we have seen this done so many times with players with all kinds of challenges: autism, blindness, females...etc. Now seeing those regular guys who are not really challenged is just so uninteresting. It is not even funny. I haven't laughed once yet. I hope that it will get interesting but I really doubt it. All the characters are one-dimensional, and they have only one personality trait that they are constantly having.

I thought of an alternative twist, asked Chatgpt to turn it into a movie script, and broke into sweat reading it. I don't know if it has been done before, because I don't watch a lot of horror, but I found it more intriguing, and I choose to believe it.

leave the apartment or just commit suicide bro😵‍💫
This is the first time in my life I was actually rooting for him to jump out the window. I thought he deserved it. I was so annoyed at him not selling the currency that I thought I'd like him to jump so that I would stop watching. What's wrong with living with your mom?

so in the end did he burn the ledger and he just went back home to collect the home application
Both. He did burn the ledger along with the contract of selling his apartment. Now he owns it.

Some may not relate to this show because it is based off on what happens in Korea
I think the cost of apartments, noisy apartments, temptation of high risk investments, and people not being able to afford a home are global issues, but I guess it might not be relatable for boomers.

This was stressful and not in a good way. It's for people who want to get annoyed, not for those who are looking to get curious or thrilled. It's annoying to the point where you want to bang your head against a wall. I wish I haven't seen it. It ruined my weekend.

does 84 mean wall in korean?
No, they changed the English title for marketing reasons. The Korean title just says the size of the apartment. No play on words.

Can someone explain to me the last couple of scenes? If I understood correctly, Yeong Jin Ho was trying to prove…
The contract he burned is the one he signed to get the money. It's the contract of selling his apartment to a person born in 2009 in exchange for 800 million. He burned it so that he can end up with the apartment without needing to cancel the contract and pay a compensation fee. The ledger is just something the villain wants to prove the misconduct of the prosecutor (female villain). I think it has a record of all the bribes she took. The main lead didn't need the ledger, as he already burned the contract that would make him lose his apartment. Yes, he ended up with the apartment, but it wasn't really a happy ending, since it wasn't worth what he's gone through.

No, not at all. Popular doesn't mean it's award-worthy, and to be honest, it shouldn't even qualify as a full season. It is half a badly written season. Just accept it and move on. The fact that it did well in terms of viewership should be enough. Accept that it was not worthy of a nomination. Just because you are dominating the streaming market, doesn't mean your work should get more than it deserves.

I've tried 3x to post something similar as a topic and it won't go through. I agree with everything you've said…
Hopefully we get a change soon. I think most recent Running Man PDs didn't last more than 2 years.

Did Jae Suk admit he was cheating and no one caught it in 759? How did he know the balls were a different temperature…
I don't think that's cheating. That's a skill he has. He is sensitive to both smell and touch so it's an advantage he has. Haha also thought he could tell, but he always failed on his second try. He said that one is heavier than the other, but I guess he doesn't have the skill Jae Suk has.
