Depends how many similar shows you've seen before and what you expect from it. So far I find it terribly bland…
It's the type of show that you wish you waited to watch until it was finished airing. Once you start watching it, it's hard to stop. Whether it's a good drama or not, will depend on its ending, in my opinion.

It could be the acting and a combination of the direction. You direct every show differently based on your vision for it. But, I do agree that some of the ML's dead eye facial expressions are literally giving us nothing, lol. His blank stare is funny to watch. I wish he'd be a little unrestrained in his gaze while keeping a blank face, kind of like Lan Zhan in The Untamed.

Half way mark and the story slowed down to a drag and turned bland. I’m glad they didn’t overly dumb down…
I agree with everything you said. Spot on notes about the acting and I skip the third couple scenes. It's not moving the plot forward.

Once you commit to this drama, you can't drop it. It's good enough to keep me watching, but I need to supplement my mental health with a romantic comedy in between episodes.
