Disgusting. Everyone in this drama, aside from GJW, NSC & HS are disgusting. I feel enraged and nauseated everytime those two whiny fathers come on screen making vile excuses for their despicable rapist sons. Add the weasly section chief detective to that too. His twisting everything to blame JW and excuse actual criminals is infuriating. Then the reveal at the end of ep9, that CNG was in the warehouse actually shocked me. Like I suspected she played a part in everything and I expected her to be some sort of mastermind in setting up JW, but the fact she was there drinking with them and witnessed the rape of SBY, just whoa, so repugnant and contemptible. She’s such a creepy obsessed little psycho

The minute those two popped the cork on that champagne in the proposal apartment, it was clear they’d get pregnant to force acceptance of their union upon their families…& us viewers (I’m standing firm though. I won’t give my approval, not because of who DY’s mother is, or because I feel bad for SY having to accept the cause of her trauma into her family, but because he’s a man-child and I feel sad for DR having to look after him for the rest of her life.)

With so little time left in this drama, perhaps the only way to clear the path for DR & DY to be together without having SY tortured by YJ forever more is to have NY enlist her mothers help in an attempt on SJ’s life. To secure her position as the top dog daughter-in-law and to fulfill her obsessive dream of getting rid of SJ, she will try to kill her and her wicked mother will either be a part of her plan or act on her own. Either way, hopefully it will end with YJ serving time in prison where she can finally reflect on her wrong doings (or go crazy, screaming and banging on the bars, stomping her feet, annoying her cellmates and ending up getting stomped on 😆) & DY will be free to marry DR without having to worry his mother will continue to harass and hurt his wife and her family. What will happen to NY, who knows. Ideally for us viewers she will be arrested and locked away along with her mother or put into a psyche ward. Unfortunately because she’s about to give birth, the writers will undoubtedly give her a kumbaya ending, because her role as a mother outweighs her evil deeds, even if that includes attempted murder. It’s in the rules of drama morality, sorry. SJ will probably still have empathy for her and hope for her to change, and HS will still try to give her an opportunity to start fresh, so we most likely won’t see her punished to our satisfaction. But by the last episode she has to be removed from that house at least. Even if she ends up on her knees begging forgiveness and repents, I doubt anyone wants to see her living happily with her baby and HS , side by side with SJ & WR. So if they won’t lock her up, hopefully they send her away with HS as he has wanted.
BTW, MR is annoyingly naive to take nasty NY’s word for it that SJ is a cheater and has harmed her son. I mean, she even asked NY yesterday why she was telling her that. Like she was so close to suspecting that NY was just stirring the pot, but then today decides, no, I won’t question this & seek the truth by asking both HS & SJ, or even WR, I’ll just believe the proven liar who has an obvious grudge against the person she’s besmirching and start treating my new daughter in-law like a bad smell that’s wafting through my house. Hopefully this situation won’t go on too long & NY’s stupid vindictive lies will be easily uncovered. That’s probably what will cause NY to try to harm SJ (or WR). She’ll be so enraged at her plan to make MR despise and kick out SJ failing or being exposed, that she’ll go full steam ahead with her final move, hopefully sealing the fate of herself, her nasty trash mother and most likely JT and leaving the board swept clean for the rest of the characters to live and love each other without constant stink attacks from unhinged morons.

I’d guess by design. Seeing as the screenwriter is the same, KSY’s cameo must be as the same character. A reprisal of her role as a nice little treat for viewers who watched “Her Private Life”

I’m surprised to see him in a role like this, pleasantly surprised. Enjoyable comedy from the ML & his family of reformed mobsters. Hopefully the incoming love triangle won’t be too frustrating and the plot stays light & doesn’t spiral into dark territory in an attempt to fill 16 episodes. Sometimes I need a silly, cute romcom to entertain me and switch off the brain for a while, so I’m hoping this keeps the rhythm of the first two episodes & I can just bop along and enjoy the drama.

I think you’ve gotten the bio-mothers/bloodlines a little mixed up, which is easy to do when we’re still waiting for clear confirmation of Uri’s backstory. NaYoung and Uri do not share a mother though. Her only blood sibling is her half brother JDY, the son born from the affair between JJS & JYJ. It has been heavily implied that KMR & HJT lost a child (for which KMR holds HJT responsible and has been punishing him for 30years by living in bitter misery) & that child is Uri. So Uri is the biological brother of HHS & won’t be personally impacted by JYJ’s greedy mess of lies other than the awkwardness related to him being SJ’s mothers adopted son.

What’s he even doing showing up there? He spends every free moment with NY, gazing into her crazy eyes & attempted to kiss her, so he’s already starting another relationship. He has no right to continue to harass SJ, nor get territorial and violent over whose arm she holds. Ridiculous caveman behaviour, and extremely hypocritical.

Thats an interesting possibility, and one I’d enjoy seeing tackled. Though I have my doubts on how well the writers would present it as they’ve already mishandled most of the plot points that revolve around psychological issues. We have two psychiatrists as our main characters and a myriad of disorders floating around and yet it seems like they didn’t bother to research mental illness beyond a superficial level. Perhaps due to the stigma that is so deeply rooted in the public conscience in South Korea towards mental health and therapy.

She gained fame after she stepped onto the ledge of the rooftop with a suicidal patient and sang a song with her, successfully talking her down. The incident was filmed and went viral. From there she got offers to appear on tv shows etc that the hospital pushed/encouraged her to take advantage of for their own benefit.

SJ is really doing NY no favours by covering up her and getting angry at WR when he was pointing out she has obsessive and dangerous behaviours. As a psych doctor herself she should recognise that her step sister is mentally unstable and persuade her to get treated. Unfortunately her actions enable NY to continue to live in her delusions

Aside from her nasty attitude being a major roadblock for her career, the fact the job she auditioned for is as host of a psychology based show might be a clear indication of why the producers think SJ is more qualified.

It’s always the people least worthy of immortality that chase it. Rich narcissistic psychopaths who are deluded about what they have to offer the world. What a dystopian future it would be if some scientist cracks the eternal life code & we end up with greedy billionaires living for thousands of years, sucking the planet dry like the vampires they are.

I’m going to stick it out and keep watching, but if you’re easily irritated by the bad guys getting their way most of the time, then this will piss you off. The awful husband is almost too much to bare but I want to see FL bury them all.

Did you zone out during the end of Episode 6? That final scene was a pretty clear confirmation of cheating.

The last time I saw this FML in a daily drama (Love Twist) there was also a “love square” with a crazy SFL who would lie and manipulate to hurt the FML & hold on to the ML & a SML who latches on and won’t let go, taking advantage of the FML’s predicament and emotionally manipulating her. The main couple there spent almost the entire drama apart and married to the wrong people. I have a foreboding that this is going to be just as frustrating. It seems HEJ is again cast as the long suffering but kind FML who is mistreated by her family and whose true love is sacrificed for her closest friend/sister who is a complete nutter. I really hope that’s not where this is headed because I don’t think I could stand watching that sister with her stunted maturity and ridiculous tantrums smugly win for most of the drama. Nor do I want to watch a ML who is weak and easily capitulates to an obvious psycho. Especially when he’s meant to be a psychologist, having him unable to recognise or just placating her insane jealousy and twisted lies would be majorly disappointing. In the drama Love Twist, by the time the main couple discovered all the evil plots, divorced the evil plotters and got back together, it was hard to cheer for them as the ML had hurt her too cruelly to protect someone who didn’t deserve it and it made him look like a fool and a big jerk. The FML there didn’t help the situation because like here, she chose to keep everything to herself and never communicated or revealed the truth until the end. Suffering in silence is just not entertaining to me. Nor is sacrificing your happiness for others who in turn can’t be happy because they’re greedy nasty people. So hopefully in this drama the FML fights back and the ML uses his brain instead of being fooled by an obvious “evil” character. (No, I don’t like our chances and suspect those two will fall for every trick and allow the clownery to keep them apart )
