Thanks so much for the answer, now I'm definetely going to continue with EL. I've seen a few MV's on youtube and to be honest Feng Jiu and Di Jun also caught my attention more than the main couple. Dunno why the second couple almost always works better for me when it comes to chinese wuxias. As I said, I love IF mostly because of the second pair, so I'm looking for something similar now, giving that I wasn't able to finish another drama since IF ended. Romance-wise I'm more for the YanShi type of relationship, who isn't really in my face, but more subtle / hinted and conflictual / intriguing, the type of relationship who leaves the audience wonder and wanting for more, if you know what I mean. For that reason Empress ki is also another fav of mine, because they didn't show for sure untill the last episode who's the one she really loves, altough I knew. Journey of flower was ok, but it didn't have the addictive factor for me.

I haven't seen EL yet (I've just watched the first 7 episodes), so I don't really know how much romance does it have, but speaking for myself, the main reason why I enjoyed ice fantasy that much was because of the great chemistry and intriguing relationship the second leads had. I won't go as far as calling it a romantic relationship, but heck, they rulled the whole show as far as I'm concerned. I know the reviews aren't that great and I admit I was kinda angry at some point too, but last week a sequel of 16 episodes aired and we kinda got some closure. The main leads are ok, the visuals are as great and the OST is even greater, tbh. I can't really compare them yet giving that I've only seen 7 episodes of EL only, but I'm going to watch a few more before making up my mind, since so many people seem to be so crazy over it.

I would love to hear an honest opinion of someone who watched both dramas as well

Guys, is there anyone who've seen BOTH ice fantasy and eternal love? And i don't mean just a few episodes, I mean someone who watched all the episodes of both dramas... I'm not big on wuxias, I did watch Ice fantasy and loved it, but I want to try out eternal love too (already watched 7 episodes) and I want to hear an honest opinion about which show is better... like, if I enjoyed IF (the only fantasy drama I loved), would I enjoy eternal love too? I already have quite a few chinese wuxias dropped or on hold and I don't want to pick another one just to get bored middle way...

The visuals for both dramas are great, but I'm more interested in the romance... I loved IF mostly because of YanDaxShi relationship, so romance-wise Eternal Love has a couple who could get me as addicted?

You can try out ice fantasy, though the reviews aren't as great, I loved it. I'm not big on wuxias, to be honest, but I belive both IF as well as EL are more leaning towards fantasy in style and they are both easier to follow and understand from the get go than a typical wuxia.

Guys, there is some sort of romantic plot line between Li Jing and Xuan Nu? I haven't seen the drama yet, just some pics and MVs, so I don't know the basic story, but they look nice togheter...

But at least this time he says i like you / i love you to YanDa.

I don't really mind if YanShi won't end up togheter, but I really want to know if he loves her / if he tells her that he loves her.

If you know something about YanShi's ending, please spoil it to me. I dunno when I'll be able to watch it with english subtitle and I'm dying to know how will their story end.
