The husband is losing interest in his wife.. it happens alot in real life.
Agree, but the trash man is way beyond "currently losing interest," and instead has already completely given up. And yet he continues to coast in the marriage, playing make believe with his wife who deserves so much better. Thus i hope she will divorce his ass and move on.
They indeed were, tho for me as korean learner that is actually an advantage bc i get the eng sub first then can listen to the korean sentence. So free exercise to connect vocab/words to its meaning as i watched, lol.
I hope the teaser doesn’t seem as its like SooHyuk got shaken up by the marriage??? Maybe make it like realizing…
I think it means getting closure under his old chapter of life, so to speak, so he can freely move on to the next in getting clarity on his ex and his feelings for Bora. After all in todays episode he was clearly upset with how Bora treated the shared kiss (him only calling it a mistake after her friend/bora herself did) and about how she acted toward him throughout the episode. Loved him delivering her the facts after she played it all down in the worst way (just because your feelings are still hurt from your breakup you are allowed to trample on mine? You are selfish etc) He had all the right to be angry with her there and it was a much needed wake up call for her, tbh. Anyway i think if we don't see them committing tomorrow then in the next eps at its latest.
Soohyuk and Bora have such high married couple energy, i swear. And this even without officially dating yet😂
Speaking of marriage.... i so hope Yujung divorces Jinwoo's ass so hard. The level of disrespect he continues to show for his wife is beyond infuriating. He is such a clear, long overdue case for the whole man disposal service. (╯°□°)╯︵( .o.)
Watching it raw and i am always fascinated by bora's unmatched talent to dig a hole that deep for herself it nearly reaches the core of the earth 😂 Like, she kept talking and explaining while SH just looked at her, and like him i just wanted her to stop making it worse for herself and him, but naaaah hahaha. (Never have i felt more introvert together with Soohyuk then here tbh 🤭)
Yeah, it is always a bummer when that happens. Interesting but frustrating how time slot and current kdrama climate…
Yeah and JA is especially unlucky with first fan-fave TD 2 and now the no lesser popular Dr. Romantic 3 (and the current viewer magnets in form of the weekend drama TRHC and Dr. Cha on saturday on top of that) airing at the same time it does. So for JA there are only crumbs left in terms of viewership. 😢
This show gives me war flashbacks to From Now On Showtime last year. Not because the dramas are in any way similar in their plots, but their fate of being sandwiched between too many popular on the same day airing kdramas and getting overlooked due to it, is.
Maybe he faked it. I watched too many dramas lmao, therefore I don't believe they'll make him be so heartless.…
Yeah that may be so, but that does make it right nor should exempt ML from the punishment for ruining several innocent ppls lives for his own personal gain/advancement. There is never a good reason for such cruelty, and most importantly.does not make him a character i want to root for to "heal" and succeed in the further plot.
Also I am not sticking around to episode 12 or so to finally find out whether or not the drama deems it worth mention him not being a coldblooded murderer after all. That clarification should have happened IMMEDIATELY after or in the scene itself, instead to save it up as a stupid plot gotcha moment for (much) later and bank on the viewers' goodwill to believe in the pure pure heart of ML instead. Nah, especially since he is shown to be anything but to that point. Sorry but any sympathy i had for ML at the beginning is long gone and remained irretrievable for me in the following episodes ever that scene happened. So i am out.
No offence to Cha Jooyoung. While I think she's a pretty good actress but so far her portrayal here as Sejin has…
Like joseon granny I honestly can't take her seriously, like at all. Because SJ is like a toddler being sent to nappy time without her favorite toy instead of a scheming mastermind. Hence the series of tantrums too. And we all now that she and her arc is right now used to accelerate the closeness between the leads, before the focus is off her as she slinks away in defeat. Only to return team upped with YD's ex for a last bout of revenge in the third arc after the leads committed to each other for real. Yawn. The actresses' stone-faced, downright bored expression and always always monoton level voice does the rest to cement her character as boring clown in her very own delulu circus for me, tbh.
Also I am watching Five Enough on the side, and i find it refreshing to experience a weekend drama without your usual unhinged delulu SFL queen. (it has disapproving parents but even that not for long) So not *all* weekend dramas feature that character archetype, tho.
i seem to have no luck with (liking) his shows. Good Bad Mother is now the third dropped drama he starred in for me after Beyond Evil (okay he was just support there as young version of ML lol) and 18 Again (boring/too melo) Ah well i still have The Glory, Melancholia and Youth Of May left to watch from his film/drama bio. And there is always Thirty But Seventeen after all lol.
Maybe he faked it. I watched too many dramas lmao, therefore I don't believe they'll make him be so heartless.…
Exactly, ML did shitty things for his own gain without any kind of remorse and would have continued doing that without that car accident. Dealbreaker no.1
The revenge plot is really contrived and makjangy, plus it bored me so much i spedrun through these parts. Dealbreaker No. 2
The mother initially had my sympathy for the death of her hubby and all, but all went down the drain when she is shown abusing her child for her own gain. Aka her twisted drive to drill him into an inhuman money-making machine so he "will have it better than her," (and she can profit off from that too.) I get this is rooted in her tragic traaaaagic backstory/trauma, wha wha wha, but she lost me there forever as a character to root for. And then she turns pn him all pikachu shocked face later on, when he actually did practice "the end justify all means" to gain power and money like SHE TAUGHT HIM ALL HIS LIFE. Yeah, no. Dealbreaker No. 3
Biggest one however is the show *NOT* IMMEDIATELY clarifying whether or not he murdered a young mother and her baby in cold blood to advance his "revenge" and still expecting me to root for ML "wholesome" journey of healing and recovery AFTER that without doing so. Yeah, no. No chance in hell.
What a huge, tasteless bag of yikes.

Oh, I also am like 95% sure already TK is going to legally adopt Jin(jja) to make it official and real (pun intended), like his father did with him.

Hence, dropped.
