I cannot get over the fact that Hae Won framed the big reveal of her aunt as though she was the worst when in reality her father was the biggest pos who abused her mother for years and she most likely saved all of them from him with ridding the world of him. Nor how the story did frame as murder with intent instead the self-defense it was. Uuuuugh, i hated that and the whole melo about aunt's will she-won't she self report to the police back/forth. Way too drawn out.

And this whole drama then served as catalyst for HW to just.... fuck off, back to Seoul, leaving ES, whom she claimed to love in the dust. I get that she needed some time away perhaps to work through the events that crashed down on her... but lol she never even contacted him, not once. And then it is revealed that she hoped to forget him, so she never intended to return. Hence their supposed big love story feels now hollow to me because essentially she used him when she needed someone and left him behind when it all became too inconvenient for her without to consider for a second how he must feel/felt about it. Yeeeeeah no, i really don't vibe with the FL and her questionable decisions/actions in the last few episodes, nor the ending. Should have heeded the title of the drama for what it is because FL only comes "when the weather is nice" and fucks off as soon things get a little bit tough, never to be seen again.

Oh well. It was nice while it lasted tho (the first 9-10 episodes and its gorgeous cozy atmosphere and winter cinematography) hence it is still a 8/10 for me, but i will never rewatch. Bit of a shame, really.

I loved the drama but the last episodes ruined it for me tbh.

Honestly given this show's trajectory i am not surprised the romance is as wholesome as in Waikiki (aka two of the shows were you would expect romance to be done well last)

MDL just has a massive hate boner for FL's and characters in general. No matter what they do or not do, they can never win and are always hated on, while male characters doing the same shit are applauded. i have watched Good Job where ML is basically chaebol batman with a secret cave and FL has supervision and i feel even that drama was much more logical than LIC 🤣 It is one of the strangest dramas i have ever watched and nothing makes sense. Yet i rush to watch every new episode and cannot even say why. (okay it is probably jiho. Most certainly Jiho. 🙃)

Adding madame yoo/the chaebol plot to the ex wife and sml, i have never seen so many delusional people in one single drama. Kinda an achievement, lol.
