This is ridiculous in the best way. I missed watching a pure comedy drama ever since finishing WTW/EW1 nearly a year ago. Plus it is like a ray of silly light in the serious/grim/angsty thriller/law drama-filled landscape we are in atm. And KDY is a terrific actor. i am happy to finally see him in a leading role. It is what he deserves.

Nope i don't think he did. He filled them out as we have seen, but didn't submit them. Since they would have showed this, for sure. (Even if he did, they would remarry for sure bc they are ride and die for each other ;) )

Haha, I mean tell me i am wrong🤣 She was friendly to him as he was sick, sure, but it was out of concern for another human being not because she likes him as guy or even friend. She stays purely professional otherwise and as she booked it out of his apartment, the first thing on her mind was Jiho again. Plus Sangeun showed in several instances how very not interested she is in KJH as love interest. KHJ is the one that confuses niceness and her professionalism for something romantic because he wishes for it to be there. All in his head, as said 🤣

Go Kyung Pyo as Jung Jiho is the ML (and 24/7 on FL's brain) and Kim Jae Young as Kang Hae Jin is SML who has a romance with FL ... in his head. It is really only a love triangle on paper, bc the lines/emotions are very much defined from the get go.

It is more that one guy drags *himself* after her while she is having only one guy on the brain from the get go. ... Come to think of it that is a quite apt summary of this drama thus far.😏Love triangle? I don't know her. 🤣

Not crushing on Jung Jiho? Can't relate. I am unabashedly simping for him by now (like my profile will tell you) hahahaaha

Yeah tho more like legal drama year and I am tired of it 😣 Doesn't help that most of the dramas in fall are legal themed either, nor that they are too serious for their own good, with few exceptions tbh. I had to revert to older dramas to get some variety and help me out of my drama slump it caused ngl. Nevertheless i am still giving this drama a chance, since it is only 12 eps and almost all have aired already, so i don't need to catch up and can take my time in watching it. Episode one hasn't grabbed my attention yet tho, but we will see.

It is just episode one but so far nothing exceptional here, been there seen that in my big batch of historical dramas already watched, tbh. So i hope we go deeper into and get more of the many many characters in the eps to come than just palace politicking/scheming as its whole narrative shtick. Because no matter which sageuk it is that element never fails to let my eyes glaze over lol. Little humor would not hurt either because for now everything and everyone is so depressingly dour, if perhaps understandably so. Let's see how things go tho.

Haha, yeah the site is probably the first and last in his mind to ask anonymous question. I believe talking with his therapist would be better too but sometimes the (supposed) anonymity helps to get questions out you would otherwise not pose when face to face with someone. Believe me, i know bc as an introvert i tend to overthink at times and would fear the other person judging me or something like that. So i get why Jiho did that, but he really should frequent other pages for it haha.

Same here. They kept throwing names at us and it did not end. Normally i don't struggle with that as kind of a sageuk veteran by now, but omg the amount of princes did me in. And they are all dressed the same too 😵‍💫More realistic maybe given the many consorts etc, but i am so glad that in other historical (fusion) dramas the kings are more of an one woman guy haha (Cheoljong in Mr. Queen even forgot his consort existed after falling for Sobong, haha)

tbh, there are many instances in the drama where you have to suspend all disbelief and logic and instead roll with whatever nonsensical reasoning they offer to fully enjoy this show hahahaha

I liked both, but FNOS stole my heart. So it was on another level for me. But yeah i always only saw people talking about SS at that time. It is far more popular on Viki too, given the numbers. FNOS had the misfortune of airing against too many strong dramas in the same timeslot/day plus it got zero support via advertising/promotion by its network/viu/viki. Even now it is hidden away in viki's streaming catalogue and never suggested on the front page despite them having the exclusive streaming rights. Sigh.

Oh gosh i am already known for it? Haha. I had one yes, with Chaseul where they smile at each other in eps,5 (i think) to be exact. I just missed my og chaotic couple who fueled my kdrama addiction so i changed over to the royal dorks from Mr. Queen for a bit. I am currently fighting the temptation to change my avatar into something Jung Jiho/Go Kyung Pyo related bc i love this socially awkward cookie/this actor tons in Love In Contract (which should not come as a surprise to you lol)

And yes, i am still upset that From Now On Showtime got/ and still gets so greatly overlooked too. It is such a shame because this drama is the full package if you like your comedy/romance with supernatural elements and well written, flawed but lovable characters. You have great taste as both are my top 2 all time faves by now. And dw, i didn't take your question the wrong way, you are good 😘

heh feel free, no problem. I haven't written anything in nearly a year but having a lot of technical knowledge due to that, i, of course, still love nerding out about characters, their bg/motivation/development and writer's intent with them. Thanks for asking tho 😘

i am torn between passing on and trying them in spite of being effin tired of law dramas or even law themed dramas by now, ngl. There is also may it please the court that is currently airing and i wanna like it but i am exhausted by the same theme again and again with almost every airing drama in 2022 which kinda explains that it took a 2020 drama to get me sorta out of my slump lol)

aww no problem, i get it tho. I would love to see PMY in a thriller or action instead of always romcoms with makjang elements too, tho.

I feel her character here is meant to be a bit tongue in cheek and kinda a parody on the perfect female character (Mary Sue) aka she is super capable regarding certifications but everything beyond her expertise she fails in and is a hot mess. She was created to function and perform but not to live and be herself. So like Jiho she has to learn a lot of things that have nothing to do with job/qualifications and unlearn toxic things holding them both back from growing into their best selves. Which is what they are doing right now for each other, however slowly.

But yeah character analysis aside, PMY's role are quite same but I enjoy that her role here is not as perfect as it appears at first glance. When The Weather Is Fine is another drama I enjoy with her because it's a bit different, but her usual office romances (HPP, WIWWSK) bored me tbh.
