I hear everyone talking about that kiss on twitter, it it really the best kiss ever in a korean drama?
Best kiss ever is... subjective. But it is very natural and racy, yeah. There is also a Main Leads Business Proposal-esque makeout scene that ends with them on the bed, but here it is actually done in a good and sexy way instead of cringy, hahaha
There's nothing official about these leads. They've known each other since high school, and they act like an old…
"they're already married, they just don't know it yet."
Yeeeeep. This is indeed the best description of the main lead's dynamic. Episode 11 is named "Always you, it has always been you" (or something similar) and this really sums it up. They always have each other, even when they fight and bicker and the world keeps throwing its weight at them,
What i appreciate about this drama is how they work through their issues together with healthy, mature communication (FL more so than ML who is more "conceal don't feel" but she always pushes his buttons to get him spill his beans) and trying to find solutions together, instead to take the easy way out and give up on each other. It is one of the rare kdrama pairings that are totally ride and die from start to finish, all struggles in spite.
Ok. Updated my life with the latest episode, lol. At this point, what is worth fighting (and staying) is the fact…
Yeees, Sang Eun is indeed "head empty, just Jiho" and i love it. Hence why i said the only romance SML has with her is probably in the fanfiction he writes late at night/in his fantasy lmao. And the many maaaaany face journeys Jiho had during the housewarming party will never not crack me up🤣. This guy is so expressive without even a single word, bless.
Ep 5 makes me want to drop this drama. I knew she was going to end up in contract relationships with the male…
No problem haha. After over hundred kdramas Mr. Queen still reins Supreme as my fave and shin Hae sun is by far my favorite k actress 💕 Can't wait for her new drama tbh

it is marketed as such, but tbh the only romance SML has with FL is in his head 🤣Like,,,, he is a spectator…
Oh i agree, SML is useless and only serves as a(n annoying) stepping stone/obstacle for both leads to realize/act on their feelings for each other. I think we do come now into the more spicy part of the story regarding that. I mean, she kissed him so that has to do/mean *something* even for/to the most socially awkward cookie hahaha

Hehe yeah. Though it took me a while to recognize what you mean because romanized hangeul always looks weird to…
Well, it was recognizable in the end haha, but i never use romanization with korean so it always looks weird to me🤭. And if you plan to learn korean that is also the best tip i can give is to start with learning the hangeul alphabet and practice reading it so you don't have to rely on romanization as a crutch, which is often very inaccurate to begin with. 파이팅!
Btw, in korean the sentence is "자기야, 나 배고파. 저녁 먹자", which also reminds me that he deliberately dropped the honorifics in this scene he otherwise uses with her. And such casual speech you only use with people close to you (family, people younger than you etc) so it was all by design/planned, haha.
Hmm, tried episode 3 but i think i will be putting this on hold for now, as it is getting too dark and i am not really in the mood for grim/serious dramas atm. Gonna revisit it later on when it has finished airing and i am less in need of cozy/comforting and more light kdramas though haha
I have been in a drama slump lately and started watching this on a whim and it turned out to be the drama i didn't know i needed. Outside of the drama being really cozy like a hot chocolate on a rainy day, the ML is an awkward little cookie and i love him for this. And for me the slowness just adds to the overall poetic atmosphere of it, like therapy in drama form. I love how much time it takes to examine and develop its characters. Slow burn done right, imo.
You have to be in the right mood to watch and especially appreciate a drama like this tho.
The synopsis is shit here tho. i submitted an edit to change it that makes it much clearer that this is a fantasy/comedy drama with supernatural elements instead of anything melo, lol. Like, much closer to Mystic Pop Up Bar and From Now On Showtime than the melancholic likes of If You Wish Upon Me or Move To Heaven. With a lot of shows having been so somber and serious lately, i cannot wait for a drama like that tbh. ("May I Help You" is also its official international title, btw.)
Can someone clarify me?Isn't she not allowed to marry 2persons at once according to first episode ? Then?
In Korea a wedding ceremony is just a ceremony but not legally binding. To have the marriage acknowledged legally by the state it has to be registered (I suppose in the court hall/townhall holding their family register etc) This is what she has done with Jiho five years ago, but never the other clients. Hence why Sang Eun and him are married for real (if only on paper), while she just puts on a show for the other client's families to make it appear they get married to her. Also why both leads have to file for an actual divorce now. (Though let's hope it won't get throughin the end😉)
I'm really enjoying it so far (-ep4) but why is she wearing a different jacket every day???They also do this in…
Haha, right. Best to just accept that they have a magical coat/jacket wardrobe with unlimited room and options in kdramaland. Same as for all characters having always the newest phones, even if they are supposed to be "poor."
