Sooooo after the end of episode 4 and the sheer shitty entitlement of SML the whole time but especially there, the show still gonna drive this trainwreck of a love triangle forward and make FL even develop feelings for him? Cool, cool. Not forced or contrived at all. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
I love her, flaws and all. I would date her in a heartbeat and i am not a guy, just bi lmao
oh hi :D I watch quite a few airing dramas atm so i stalk the comment sections of those shows more or less frequently too haha.
Yeah, Love In Contract is a bit of a mess, but I love the ML a lot and how different he is from the usual suave, confident batch. I highly relate to his introvert/not wanna socialize energy hahaha.
Just curious has anyone seen any of Go Kyung Pyo's other works (dramas)? Is like this in his other dramas. This…
He is excellent in Chicago Typewriter as well. Different character ofc, way more outgoing but he gives him equally as much layers through his acting. And he is one of the mains there.
GKJ generally does the mixture of weird-cute so well, i noticed 😁
Only 4 eps and I have decided Ji Ho is the ML I want 😂Okk...On a serious note, ji ho is kinda much more interesting…
Jung Ji Ho and his high introvert energy plus the actor's various face journeys (particularly whenever FL does something) is 80% of the reason why i am having a good time with this drama. Such a refreshing ML tbh 🥰🥰🥰
before release almost everyone : I will have SLSafter 3rd ep almost everyone : SL is so annoying
I am option 3: I never liked him from the start, lmao. And not only bc i immediately bonded with my introvert/socially awkward boi, but bc SML gave me bad vibes from the get go. And this all the while the narrative wanted to make ML look like a serial killer. Enough said, lol.
The mixing of genres in this drama kind of reminds me of Link: Eat, Love, Kill, however the writing here seems…
Yeeeeah, the only reason i enjoy the drama is because of the leads tbh, particularly the ML and his escapades due to his social ineptitude/ high introvert energy. The character/the actor is 80% of the reason why i am having a good time with it, such a refreshing ML tbh. But SML is annoying, because his existence in this drama is reeeeeally useless, and the whole company/rich people subplot make my eyes glaze over. I could not care less for it tbh, because it is boring af and feels disjointed from the rest of the narrative.
This or If You Wish Upon Me? I'm deciding between the two. Which has more romance?
Totally different dramas tho. If you wish upon me is a story of healing, of connecting with people and moving on from trauma with a found family. Often quite somber given the subject matter, but the romance is very cute and mature. I enjoyed this drama a lot for giving me in depth character development/stories and realistically portraying a male survivor of abuse and how he grapples with finding his place in the world while retaining his inherent kindness despite all harshness around him. ML is the personified famous quote of Dr. Who: "All that pain and misery and loneliness and it just made him kind." and i love Gyeore a lot for this.
Good Job however is silly, brainless fun you watch for the character shenanigans and the leads sizzling chemistry, not the plot. It is very tongue in cheek with its tropes and self-aware/over the top at that. So it is the right drama for you if you just wanna have a good time in rolling with whatever happens on the screen without thinking too much about its logic (or lack thereof, lol)
imo calling the men like Gyeo Re weak and a wuss, etc is exactly the reason male survivors of domestic abuse and…
Which is an irony, because carrying on with the will to find a better place/life for himself instead of giving up under these incredibly harsh and borderline inhuman circumstances, shows real strength and perseverance. Anyone who calls JGR weak because he managed to retain his kindness through all this (which also is no small feat) and dares to be open about his feelings shall fuck off with their toxic masculinity.
Yeah he is a special brand of noble idiocy and non-communication. And that just when he was starting to do better. Sigh. But now he HAS to step up or lose everything. The ball is in his park now, We will see.
FNOS has a well done slow burn romance that takes its time to develop between both leads after they started off…
sry wasn't much online the past days, but as it seems you already watched it, so you know now hehe. And yeah totally agree. It is one of the very few dramas in 2022 I enjoyed from start to the very satisfying finish. Like, it never got boring or dragging and there are not many dramas i can say that of.
FNOS has a well done slow burn romance that takes its time to develop between both leads after they started off the wrong foot. They go from frenemies thrown together by circumstances to partner to friends and lovers supporting and completing each other. Them meeting and finding together is by all means fate, for various spoiler related reasons. 😏😄
As for the ending, I would wager it is one of the very few kdramas in 2022 which did it right. So yes, very satisfying HE and then some :)
Most purely romcoms fell flat for me if you look up my ratings for those, but these are the ones i really liked.…
Hard same, has become my all time fave. Chaseul will forever live rent-free in my head ngl. And FNOS is also one of the few dramas in 2022 that did not end up disappointing me. It is criminal how undervalued/overlooked it is, though.
