At episode 4, I love their blooming relationship, but i am not sure if i am able to power through the rest of the drama when the same 2-3 old-timey country songs are put under the(ir romantic) scenes every 5-10 minutes, tbh. Like the music is the wooooorst and it kinda ruins the drama for me instead to enhance it. Hence for now i have to put it on hold.

Lol, it is no milking the cow scheme, though. The two part format was planned from the start, in order to be able to tell the full story of the book the drama is based on. Afaik, the story in the book is similarly structured, so it makes sense for the drama to have two parts. It is not season 2 as much as it is just the second half of the story.

So what we call season 2 is in reality just part 2 of the story ;)

Yeah, this drama is sadly very underrated as it went under people's radar when it aired due to tough/lots of competition, a shitty late time slot and lack of promotion by network/viki. Even now the drama is hardly ever picked by Viki in their suggestion sections and buried in their streaming catalogue, despite being an Viki exclusive 🙄

Still waters go deeeeep, as they say, which truly describes his character (having so much love to give just him not knowing how 😭) Hopefully the writers do not change him (too much) outside of him becoming more in tune with his feelings and those of others, perhaps. Let him please continue to have quiet dinners with wifey in peace to recharge his introvert/social batteries, instead of forcing him into the mold of becoming a social butterfly for no reason at all.
