Only JCW can make eating a sausage on a stick look cute, tbh. And how his char ran into that verbal trap at full speed. Kissy boi and cutie pie🤣

And i just love how the dynamic between GYR and SYJ has changed from flirty flirty to #married basically 😏

Love this but how about the drug list names? Only BM knows the name. It still gv me no answer until now..how 😓.
If PCH is BM, he obviously would know the names, tho? And this whole "he got sacked and had the correct list in his hands all the sudden" story sounds like him bullshitting the others/us. I still don't trust that supposed dumbass lawyer who is too comfortable to play several roles to achieve his goals and switch into vincenzo mode to threaten/blackmail/outsmart others with such ease. And i still have not forgotten how he basically told us viewers "you all got fooled." and called us idiots. Unreliable narrator, right there. So everything coming out of his mouth is imo not to be trusted/ or another side to it. But we will see where the last 4 episodes will go. So it is just a theory for now.

I'm honestly so surprised at the comments below where some people are categorizing Miho as "just another annoying…
Lol, these are the sad sad clowns who hate on the FL and any female character for doing as much as breathing (SO ANNOYING!!!1111!!) you unfortunately find in every comment section 😒

The summary sounds really boring but is it ????
the summary is really badly worded. If i were not as lazy i would rewrite it, tbh xD but yeah, drama is really good/fast paced and full of twists and turns once you get past the slower introductory episode 1.

How is the romance in this drama?
Okay, lemme copy/paste what i wrote before:

Still my favorite of this year and one of my all time faves in general. Because after starting off on a wrong foot, they grow together, support and challenge each other in equal parts, and openly talk about issues and misunderstandings arising, before they can become unsolvable problems between them. They bring out the best or rather the authentic self in each other. It is a refreshingly mature and yet quite innocent (first serious love for both of them), cute and wholesome relationship between them that takes appropriate time to develop and feels organic to their characters. It is slow burn done right, imo. Plus they are equally chaotic and bicker like a married couple haha.

Chemistry between the leads is always subjective tho, so when making statements like this, always add an "for…
Oh no, i'm good, no need to apologize, honestly. It is not that deep, after all. I just wanted to do a little PSA regarding chemistry between leads and subjectivity, bc too many people sell a perceived absence of it in a drama as the ultimate truth/fact, when it is actually different for everyone. That is all <3

Well, if you like it, I'll give it a try. 😍 Tried Little Women and fell asleep. 🤨
aww, i am flattered you value my opinion that much haha. It is nothing deep but really fun to watch, imo, yet also not comparable to Little Women which is a rather serious drama. I only watched a bit of episode 1 there due to time constraints this week, so it is too early to say anything about it. ML is a bit of an oddball, but the cute kind imo and i really like FL's drive and energy. Otherwise it is rather a typical romcom with all the tropes you can expect it to have, lol.

i just love how easygoing this show is tbh it's like a breath of fresh air for me after watching deep dramas over…
Yeah, exactly. Sometimes you just need something silly and light to laugh at, which is why i really like this drama.

I wish there was no childhood connection trope then again this show has implemented all the cliches so why not…
Yeeeeeah haha. It is kinda like trope bingo now xD

Oh they kissed already by ep8 so it's not a slowburn romance ...
Episode 8 is pretty standard when it comes to first kiss in a kdrama tho. Tis always around eps. 7-10 with 8 being often chosen as the one. 🤷😉
On If You Wish Upon Me Sep 7, 2022
As frustrating this episode was to watch it was an important one for Gyeo Re's development. Since he learned a) not to run away anymore, b) knows he has a place to belong now and it is not with the toxic, abusive psycho sister. c) that he deserves better than this. The contrast between toxic/healthy love (when he spoke about SYJ and all the small things she did for/told him😭) was really well done tho in all its many icky imagery.

I hope ultimately HKY gets the help she needs, but with how controlling she acted and constantly emotionally blackmailed YGR, I have a hard time to find any sympathy for her character. The actress is hitting it out of the park with this role, tho. So well played in every unhinged way and manner. Gives me the creeps. Ironically, the ending of eps 9 could be a better beginning for her character. We will see. Just give poor Gyeo Re a break, please. Or twenty.

we have reached the "no, i am not in love" disney song denial stage of the romance, i see xD Love the various instances where SW was "I am just worried about her bc she is my employee, i would do this for everyone," while jealously eyeing her talking with another man and carrying her home piggyback. But sure you do this for everyone. Cool story, bruh 🤣

Tis very cliche, but never not fun to see one part of the main leads talk to themselves and out of possible feelings for the other half of the leads. Story is still whack and i basically have stopped paying attention. i am just here for the characters and the chaos they get into at this point. (seriously why did sera not even wear a wig, when Sun Woo should have enough means to disguise her in his chaebol batcave?)

It's a good drama, with lots of funny moments. The best about this drama, is obviously Park Hae Jin. But the leads…
Chemistry between the leads is always subjective tho, so when making statements like this, always add an "for me" because this is not the case for everyone, nor the ultimate truth. Valid if you see it this way of course, but personally i cannot relate because for me, the chemistry was great and beyond. They were as super cute as they were chaotic. One of my fave kdrama couples/dynamics ever.

that punch almost got me fall off the chair 🤣I truly did not see it coming.
ngl. i cheered hard for her in this moment. And basically every other she is on screen bc i love her character and everything she represents.

Try out Just Between Lovers. They're not friends during childhood, but ticks the other boxes. Undergo a trauma…
Maybe...."Tomorrow With You", "You Are My Spring?" and "Another Miss Oh" The last one is messy regarding its characters and push/pull dynamic, tho it is also about healing/moving on from mistakes/trauma and growing together. But of them all i highly recommend "Thirty But Seventeen", if you have not watched it. Probably the best depiction of trauma/ptsd and its effects in a kdrama. Very wholesome too.

Like, there is absolutely nothing new here, or what you have not seen before if you have even just watched a handful of romcom kdramas before. But it is presented with such a good, bright energy and fun characters and dynamics, so i really don't mind. I enjoyed the first two episodes a lot and it has quite a few tropes i like (pining, idiots in love, secret crush etc) so i will stick around, since having something fun and light to watch is never a bad thing. Plus, there is a somewhat deeper plot developing beneath all situational jokes and the leads' bickering, so this is gonna be interesting.
