Tbh, i love that it takes Junho so long to react to Youngwoo telling him that she likes him, bc there is a whole zoo running around in his stomach not just 🦋at that🤭 (it is in his expressions, yall, and i love the actor for these subtleties)
Or more like: Junho.exe has stopped working, please restart 🧠🤣
Lmao, finished the first episode and.... the lead's childhood is connection revealed. Of fucking course, wouldn't…
FL is not a red flag, she is her whole own red flag armada dipped in toxic waste, holy hell. If the roles were reversed and ML would do that, I doubt it would have such glowing reviews/comments then.😬😬😬 Mind, i am still watching/enjoying it thus far but there is more than one bag of yikes regarding their romance. Rather a boatload of it, tbh.
Lmao, finished the first episode and.... the lead's childhood is connection revealed. Of fucking course, wouldn't be a kdrama without it, huh? *groan* 😒
(I like it so far otherwise tho, just tired of this damn trope by now, lol) Love the style of the children books that definitely should NOT be stories for kids, lmao. Remains to be seen if i can deal with the rather psychopathic FL for 16 episodes tho.
Look at the timestamp of this tweet. it is a month old and this speculation was made when we knew nothing about the actual parentage that got revealed later on and has nothing to do with JH. So please stop spreading that tweet.
Sometimes i lament that i started watching kdrama just at the end of 2021, bc there is so much to catch up on still. But then i remember how i missed out on BoF and this trainwreck of a drama and suddenly the lack of an earlier start and thus lack of nostalgia googles ain't so bad anymore, lmao.
Tbf, the recent kdramas aka from the years 21/22 have quite the good track record in not dragging out conflicts…
Yeah agreed. Ngl, i tend to eyeroll and ffw when older dramas do that now , as i lost my patience to endure 2-5 episodes of stupid (noble idiocy/breakup) waaaaaaangst some 35 dramas ago, lmao.
The last drama which i remember doing that as well as EAW is "From Now On Showtime", with the backstory of the leads which led to contention and misunderstanding between them. And both are solved in the same episode while we get to see the full events of the past with her dad and his grandfather and them talking like mature adults about it. *chefkiss*
Probably the miracle of the princess, of handwaving and timejump all together haha
Yeaaaah, same, would have been a nice, logical touch in all the supernatural chaos of the final (confrontation) tbh. Also still sad we didn't even get a wedding pic of Chaseul, but i guess jumping ahead and showing the reincarnated magic factory mini-me's (including their son the general🤭) had priority haha
It is basically korean avatar the last airbender, in a way xD Tis a good watch that drags at times and the episodes are imo too long in runtime, but most of the characters and their dynamics are really entertaining and that is what lets me stick around. Imo you notice that they are stretching the story to 20+ episodes with quite a lot of filler/needless scenes. Would benefit from tighter writing and/or less episodes, in general. So unlike others here, i don't find it to be THE kdrama masterpiece deserving of such a high rating as it has now, but that is just me and it is a good watch nonetheless. It is definitely my brain off kdrama of the week tho xD
I now understood that writers love doing this....when junho and wyw confess or get close , either someone will…
Ngl, I tend to do the same when writing, bc there is some kind of diabolic glee of doing that when you are the writing person. There is nothing more fun than to imagine the pained reactions of your readers as you interrupt/cockblock characters🤣
Not so much fun when i am on the receiving end, but i do get it why they do this yeah🤣
Are there any other dramas which ML's character is like Jang Uk here? Could you recommend pls? Any genre is fine.I…
Cha Chawoong of From Now On Showtime still remains one of my most fave ML's bc he is so much more than what you see at first glance, or rather what he wants ppl to see. Did a whole ass character ted talk in the comment section here, lol: https://kisskh.at/699445-showtime-from-now-on#comment-10489055
Also love KJH's duality as King Cheoljong in Mr. Queen. What could have been terribly one-note with another actor, he manages to portray as complex, torn and raw at times, while never omitting CJ's more dorky side heh.
how am i gonna wait a week after that emotional reunion + wyw confessing ?!?!? my heart... but i do love how this…
Tbf, the recent kdramas aka from the years 21/22 have quite the good track record in not dragging out conflicts over several episodes/the whole show for (needless) drama in general. It is a trend of more grounded writing i have seen the past two years and greatly welcome it tbh. The story makes much more sense and characters feel much more organic when they not ignore conflicts just because the plot says so.
That actor plays the cutest little puppy of a man in Yumi's Cells (first season). He's adorable as the ML's sidekick!
The first one? Generally no love triangle but there is a possessive best female friend who disregards boundaries with woong and she is overall very annoying. The type of "i kept you as a friend for years, but now where you have a partner i am jealous and want you for myself. Ugh. She is reason of contention between yumi and woong a couple of times, but it is no true love triangle, no.
