For me because they had already changed a lot of things and gave Babi important moments that were meant to be…
Yeah same here. Should not have been given the scenes to him and build up the relationship for as long as they did, if they didn't plan on making changes to the drama version. Now we probably don't get to see SR (not enough eps left) while watching babi breaking yumi s heart in all detail... again. 💔😭
Has everyone programmed their phones/alarm clocks, etc. for AoS Ep. 5??My schedule? 5:00 am (PDT) - get up, fix…
Get up at 5 am in the morning for a kdrama? Hell no matter what kdrama it is I would never do this bc I already get too few sleep during the week due to watching them way too far into the night. So this is where I draw the line hahaha
They should have just not given Babi a lot of Soonrok's scenes if Babi will still be the same as in the webtoon.…
Thank you. You summarized perfectly why i have put this drama on hold for now, where it will stay until i know its direction taken for sure, tbh. Bc right now i see no clear line/structure in its story lol.
Lol, same. I was nearly convinced they would change the ending but then one (1) pretty lady appears and Babi is…
Happy to help 😂😂😂 Srsly tho, if they go the webtoon route after all why give third guy's scenes to babi then? Kinda pointless to build it up as grand romantic love if he chases after the first skirt he sees like a dog in heat, ugh.
i may put the drama on hold until the story and outcome is less a guessing game bc watching it now makes me too anxious tbh. (And i have still enough other kdramas to catch up on, so yeah)
from the new eps, i thought the drama might change the ending but guess not... maybe im not team babi anymore…
Lol, same. I was nearly convinced they would change the ending but then one (1) pretty lady appears and Babi is like... "yeah gonna tap that" right from the start? Gonna throw away the whole man when he is THAT easily swayed, tbh.
okay this comment section is very confusing :D should i just go for it, regardless the comments? :Di need something…
Personally i loved DAYS for the main lead's story/chemistry (sidepairing lovetriangle is boring af imo) but it can be quite heavy at times given FL has a terminal illness. It has the great "Us (fighting) against fate" theme, which i liked tho and it ends happily, but yeah it is quite angsty for a large duration of the story.
If you need something light(er) and funny/chaotic and wholesome with an equally 'grand' destined to be romance (spanning lifetimes), maybe give From Now On Showtime a try?
Can recommend Mr. Queen, Dali And The Cocky Prince and Crazy Love too (where the illness of FL is a fakeout), if you have not watched them yet. All funny, light and entertaining, imo.
Can someone please tell me when exactly the ep is going to be released on viki? I'm going insane here, it's way…
It is out for me here in germany and since it feels europe is always last in episode drops you should be good now haha. Good to sse you here as well, friend <3 I mean this drama is nothing groundbreaking but it is not trying to be either and it has become somewhat of a comfort drama for me now. Main couple is really cuuuuute <3
Or maybe because there's nothing much to talk about.. Lol
Eh still weird for a currently airing drama to have zero new comments on the day (a) new episode(s) is airing. Even Woori TV had those and that show was a trainwreck, unlike this one.
What the fuck was the last half hour of this drama?
Like i guess they wanted to show that there is no fairy tale ending in/to a relationship, but they missed their mark execution-wise by miles, ass first. I get needing to adjust without your abilities, but they undid 11 eps of character development with that complete 180 and turned the mains toxic real quick with their shitty on/off relationship that was played for laughs. Yikes. Even as meta commentary on how stupid/unrealistic destiny and eternal love is and to parody the breakup trope in kdrama, it was jarring and gave me major whiplash. If you want a parody of the romcom break up trope done right, watch Dali and the cocky prince tbh.
I simply will forget this last half hour ever happened. For me it ended around 45 minutes in. Gotta subtract at least half a point for this shit from what was an otherwise enjoyable, mature drama (with some flaws) otherwise. 8/10
Chaseul gets a veeeeery happy ending, even if it may not look like it at first. One of the fluffiest endings in…
Oh you are welcome. FNOS has become one of my all time faves/comfort drama, and i still struggle to move on from it ever since it finished airing. Tbh, it is more supernatural, mystery, romance and comedy mixed together than classic fantasy tbh. A well balanced genre mix that got overlooked by a lotta ppl when it aired tbh. The magic tricks are all faked with his ghost helper acting them out, invisible for the public which is hilarious xD Watching edits to get a feel for the drama is a good idea, but they are going to be very spoilerific, so tread carefully ;) Here are a few, spoiler light ones of the mains' dynamic to give you an idea, tho:

Yeosool: *Sits at his bedside in the hospital after he saved her life and was knifed for it, and fears he will never wake up again. Yeosool: *Loves Minhu, is in a committed relationship with him, and now remembers everything from their childhood shared together again* Yeosool: *Still calls him MR. CHA instead of his name*
I am with you. It is quite similar to FNOS. I think I will skip it from episode 3 and will rely on written updates…
oh truuuuuuue, there is more lmao. Gotta correct you on Seulhae's motive to become a cop tho, she did take up this occupation to find her father's murderer and make a difference, not for her crush. But yeah there are some similarities that are a bit🤔Certainly not by ill-will or planned i think, but still, feels weird somehow haha. I will wait how the next two eps go and if i cannot start seeing it as its own thing then, i may put it on hold for the time being until i am out of my FNOS has ended mourning phase, lol.
I think its bc there are so many kdramas releasing today like Extraordinary Attorney, Eve, Dear. M, Kiss Sixth…
that makes sense, lol. When had the wednesday become so loaded? It is insane how many eps of shows are released on one day... could kdramaland pls spread it out a little more i cannot keep track🤣

Yes there is, since FL Seulhae has a crush on her sunbae cop for a decade and they would have been in the trajectory to become a couple if Chawoong hadn't entered the picture and Hee Soo (cop) hadn't kept her at arm's length for the same amount of time. Thus her affections shift only slowly but surely to ML Chawoong since her crush persists for a while still, as it is normal i think? (Chawoong being jealous is hilarious btw, he is such a sulky dork about it, haha) Which means FL/ML is a true slow burn romance but one of the category "destined to be together" for a lot of reasons (you will see) Hence why her crush doesn't go anywhere in the end, bc a subsequent realization of her feelings for Chawoong are happening haha. Still it is a part of the drama till around episode 9 or 10 until it is resolved.
I like to compare her crush on the cop with a girl's first love as she acts pretty girlish in front of him and shows him only the the best side of herself. Whereas with Chawoong she is herself right from the start, flaws and all. He gets her completely authentic self, the full, sometimes crazy and impulsive, punch in the face, loud and vulnerable spectrum of Seulhae, haha. Aaaand that is the difference between a crush and true love, i say 😁
