Damn she always was a "You, in danger" character with an X painted on her back buuut seeing she made it to the final I thought maybe they will spare her after all. But nope alas. It makes sense tho in a way that it isolates Chawoong even more in his battle with evil creeper and fully pushes him into that shaman role. Raised stakes and his character coming full circle. Love to see it but could have done without granny being offed tbh 😔

That makes actually a lot of sense and not only because it would finally bring her on one page with her future hubby haha. I always disliked how Chawoong is the only one remembering everything tbh. About time Seulhae gets to meet her former badass self haha.

It also would "link" her to her powers and the "miracle" we are bound to expect for both to survive the showdown, and have their happy ever after 2000 yrs later. Hope we get to see it.

Haha, well they have become my favorite kdrama otp after mr.queen's cheoljong/soyong tbh, so i tend to nerd out a lot about them🤣 It was not really spoilery, but i tagged it now just in case. Hope you enjoy it tho <3

Long answer. Yes. Chaseul is a sweet slow burn romance which develops organically along the growth of the mains as characters. FL Go Seul Hae reads him like an open book from the get go and calls him out on his bs when needed. ML Chawoong finds with her someone who empathizes with his situation/bg and understands him for the first time in his life. Someone who does not give up on him no matter how often he puts up his "sardonic/mean front" to keep ppl from getting close to him .... and she gets under his skin in more ways than one.

They are one of these "I trust you and would lay my life down for you in a heartbeat, but i won't say im in love bc I AM NOT denial lvl 9000" couples for a long time too haha. Both have high adorkable and chaotic energy, and a dumb/dumber synergy at times as well as bickering like a long married couple dynamic. Which given the (mid-drama) main plot around these two may not be so far from the truth 😏 Most of all tho they are super adorable together and i love how openly/candidly they tackle issues arising between them, especially later on.

I am more pissed about their last minute break up should it happen due to Chawoong's noble idiocy tbh. Even if it is for five minutes only it is still too long, bc when had it ever helped any of the couple doing that? It is so senseless. In SH's case it only leaves her more a target for evil creeper since that supposed distance from Chawoong thought to save/spare her will do the opposite (isolation) Ugh. But we will see how it goes, the writer has yet to disappoint me here, so i am optimistic.

Hmm yeah would have been my preference too as them drawing out this dramatic irony (viewers having knowledge the characters have not) is getting frustrating. It was always clear that it was steering toward a "history repeating itself" showdown tho, as the writer did something similar in the final of "Mystic Pop Up Bar." I would have also loved to see the three fight at his side a final time. But since they all believe the evil is dealt with (until the very end of eps 15 that is) they dealt with personal business instead and we get it the other way around. It raises the stakes since Choi is weakened and the other support they had in the ghost crew has left for the afterlife. Means also less protection for SH in that showdown with the ghosties gone and thus probs leads to the events of Chawoong's noble idiocy with that self-sacrifice to save his love (cue that miracle JKJ spoke of) Kinda classic storytelling, that, heh.

Anyway, writer nim also loves the theme of characters having earned their happy ending thru hardship/sacrifices, so while i hope the showdown will be only last half of an episode, i am pretty sure we are getting the happy end. Aka Chaseul wedding in the last half pls <3

Let them live, lmao. They deserved that break in angst, heartbreak etc for some happiness. But yeah i get this dramatic irony is becoming frustrating, even for me. i still am cutting them some slack since they believe the spirit is dealt with for a long while now. You can't fault the characters not having the knowledge the viewer has since a few episodes tbh.

Seulhae is aware that Soo Hee has changed but seeing she is ruling out the evil spirit being the cause since it was dealt with from her pov, she thinks it is a mental problem. Which given the og creep is not far from the truth tbh. Bc he is the ultimate nice guy stalker creep. who wants to possess her like a thing since she had been shown him kindness that one time 2000 yrs ago. Yikes. With the additional infos given to the characters the viewer already possesses (no pun intended xD) we can FINALLY watch her and them put two and two together.

I'm not a fan of them dragging out the final showdown to eps 16 either and would have preferred it to be dealt with in this eps already, but it is what it is. I think it will be a worthy final tomorrow nonetheless, with hopefully not all screentime wasted on the confrontation with evil creeper. I want my Chaseul wedding, okay? 😏

I think SeulHae is the last piece in the puzzle for them getting to know who it is. Also pls spoiler tag your comment as with the drama ending the (new) bingewatcher will arrive. Thanks <3

Yeaaaah, given i watched PHJ first in FNOS as my first drama ever with him, watching his serious character in Man To Man was like a culture shock, ngl. But from time to time a bit of dorkiness came thru even with Agent K haha

Also we have to remember that PB's powers only works with the sacred mirror and in this life the sacred mirror IS (within) Seul Hae. So only them working together will defeat the evil creeper, not CCW's noble idiocy sacrifice at the end of the preview, lol. I guess that is what the miracle means and how they survive, maybe?

Yeeeeep. There is (almost) no trope i have come more to hate than "noble idiocy." It is the wooooooorst bc it never makes sense. So i hope writer is pulling my leg bc a last minute break up is 😒

Oh, and I highly recommend you checking out FNOS's writer's prior work "Mystic Pop Up Bar" if you suffer from withdrawal effects from FNOS finishing airing/watching. It is a bit slower and more somber in tone but it has the same vibe and themes <3

Oh hard same. I really connect with this drama and characters in a way that makes them feel like friends and I dread to have to say goodbye to them tomorrow. It rarely happens I like characters in a drama/movie etc so much tbh. Chaseul is my ultimate k-drama otp as well, (right after Joseon royal power couple Cheoljong/Soyong from Mr. Queen, that is)... to the point where i wanna learn and AM actually looking into video editing to make 454548548 FMV's of them hahahaha
