3 days... anything good to watch while waiting for this? except why her & eve
From Now On Showtime. Has fantasy, investigation/murder, fated love and supernatural elements. A genre mix such as Link but less dark (humor) and more comedy.
In need of another mystery romance drama while I'm waiting for new episodes. Can someone offer me some recommendations…
If you like fantasy mixed into mystery/investigation and slow burn romance (and a lotta other genres mixed in) give From Now On Showtime a shot, friend :)
i only watch 1 ep should i watch more or is it not worth it?
Continue watching From Now On Showtime and Mr. Queen instead. Those are way more worth your time investment and a lot more entertaining tbh. Kiss Sixth Sense, Link eat love kill and jinxed at first are pretty good, if you wanna go for a new, ongoing drama with a focus on romance tho.
The minute the sister was introduced into the story it got uninteresting, upsetting, and confusing for me. Why…
Yeeep narratively it was a mess and then some. Skipped the whole wangst fest and then went thru the last episodes on double speed bc it was too late to drop at this point lol.
Dropped it after 6 episodes. I could not force myself to watch another minute of this, as I was bored out of my…
Lol same here. Had it put on hold for a while but after some consideration i cannot be arsed to continue watching as it has been a drag to come this far in the first place. A pity because Yin Goo's and SHK's acting are top notch. But nope don't need another ten hours of nothingburger tbh ๐
I'm a simple person... i see "fated love" in the tags, i click. (ever since watching from now on showtime, that…
Reminds me of FNOS in the sense that it does not stop to stare at the landscape, aka it keeps its pace for the story up, trusting the viewer to go along with it. I appreciate that a lot instead of giving slow long shots and handholding thru exposition.
My main criticism was the lukewarm kiss like c'mon after all thaaaat. We're in 2022 we can handle a proper makeout…
Also it was perfect for the situation. Tender and full of emotion, the fitting kiss after a long overdue confession. Love the whole cinematography/lighting of it (that reddish halo between them *chefkiss*.) The scene and kiss is all warm, with the sun in their backs. Perfect.
Plus it suited the characters, as it is the first serious love for both of them. (one that reaches back a lifetime but that is another topic, hehe) , so their kiss being tender and loving instead of steamy af fits their "innocence" and inexperience in relationships and intimacy. We have seen what happened as they tried to kiss again๐คฃ Even without interruption they were not quite adapt in it yet and kept clashing heads instead, haha. I bet the years of married life has fixed their lack of coordination and experience later on, seeing they have a son and all ๐๐
because the later episodes were all disappointing, and the ending felt not only rushed and cramped with too many…
Heh, yeah, exactly. My other odd one outs are "Kill me Heal me," "into the ring," "our blues," and Descendants of the sun" which everyone seems to love. Couldn't get into "moon embracing the sun" or "moon lovers SHR" either despite loving sageuks. Ended up dropping them all. Also never got the hype about 2521, which i found just to be an okay drama, not more. It is like that at times, heh.
And agreed. Since the story started wrapping up in episode 15 and episode 16 was all about Chawoong accepting into his "destined" role and closing out his character arc that started in eps 1, i don't think anything was rushed or displaced. The show always had been about Chawoong/Seulhae first and foremost, so imo did a great job of tying up everything, their story and that of the others. There are some minor things I would have changed (the noble idiocy at the start was meh and the whole thing could have been done differently) but otherwise i found it very satisfying. Cutest kdrama ending ever tbh.
Just a shout out appreciation to appreciate Yeo Jin Goo's amazing acting here in this drama, am totally hooked!
Right? He is such an amazing actor. So young and yet so seasoned too. He killed it in the "Crowned Clown" where i saw him the first time and his acting (skills) lives rent-free in my head ever since.
They purposely want to show everyone she's not his sister
That is there for the last stupid viewers with the attention span of a goldfish. They really wanted to drive home this fact with that test BEFORE they move on to lovey dovey romance. Lest some (knetz) doofus is screaming "iNcEsT" when the leads start dating. Which, given how little some ppl pay attention to the actual events onscreen, will still happen i bet (here in the comments). Just you wait, lmao.
i mean one of its genre is fantasy and kdramas are big on fate/fated love in romcoms, so i don't find it so outrageous a thought. Their link could be for that reason alone. But we will see ;)
It'd be delicious *cough* delightful to see for sure ๐คญ*happy to see you here ๐๐
Hiiii friend๐ Yeeees, and given the drama's direction atm, it seems i stumbled from one fated love story to the other, just with more murder. I am not complaining haha ๐
I feel this drama is just what i needed after FNOS ended, as it is also mixing its genres well and very quirky with its humor and situations, if in a more gallow humor way๐คฃ Really looking forward now how their relationship develops where that one big question is solved between them. (No sweet home alabama hahaaha) since i really love their dynamic.
I love it when "do not fall for me" turns into "please like/love me". That trope always makes me giggle and feel…
Since it is the ML who is insisting on the "don't fall for me" this may as well happen hehe (FL has started to catch some feelings tho) Can't wait for it, as said ๐

Yeeeees, i really like this trope bc their resistance is futile (aka you know it is just a matter of time where it happens) and the shift from "please don't" to "please do" so rewarding to see hehe.
Rewatching i saw there is so much hate for JKJ's acting/Seulhae in the timed comments on viki during the first…
it takes a bit getting used to to take in all at once when watching a drama this way (watching, reading subs/timed comments) but it is the reason i have moved from netflix to viki as my main source for kdramas. I only watch N-exclusive kdramas on netflix anymore, and the rest as far as available on viki. (Disney Plus or regional not available kdrama i watch on dramacool etc still heh) While some comments are really dumb and make me wanna furiously type a (snarky) reply, it really enhances the viewing experience for me as it feels like you don't watch a drama alone and of course you can leave your own comment about a scene, something you noticed etc. It is really fun and i used it a LOT for FNOS, where you can find my comments in every single episodes lol.
Turning the timed comments on is easy. On desktop/PC it is simply clicking the upper right corner symbol so it shows a โ in it and with the symbol next to it you can add your own comments. On mobile you gotta tap the three dots and choose "timed comments on/off" in the dropdown menu.
I am watching episode 3 rn and already can't wait for the "do not fall for me" to turn into "please like/love…
there are so many kdrama romcom typical scenes with the leads + romantic and soft music (while sharing an umbrella etc) that you have to have the attention span of a squirrel on drugs to still believe they are siblings tbh.
