Welcome sister but we are about to start mourning after it ends tomorrow.....
Oh it is just in the "searching for fitting songs" planning stage rn so nothing near to any finished video projects. But i already have a few ideas what to make, especially now with all the episodes aired.
I am currently looking for FNOS HD raw episodes and have installed an vid editing prog. It will only take a lotta time to produce something decent lol. We will see. I will let you and everyone else here know once something came out of it. It seems to be a fun hobby tbh, and i just want to have more FMV's of my kdrama otp haha. And on the whole of YT there are just like 5 Chaseul vids atm and this is making me sad
Short answer; Yes. (eps. 13) Long answer. Yes. Chaseul is a sweet slow burn romance which develops organically…
Haha, guilty as charged. If i like a show/game/movie etc and its story i love to dig into the characters, their motivations and all the little things within to analyse them. I also never shut up about it then, as you have seen in this comment section π€£
It was cute , fun and well unremarkable The leads were cute, the story was ok and friendships were nice, like…
You have completed it, while the last episode is not out on streaming platforms yet tho? Unless you watched it live? But yeah different strokes and all that, so i could not disagree more Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
This is a well layered drama, a very nice surprise. Love love love! I never was a fan of Park Hae Jin's acting…
I think this is also due to PHJ playing a lot of stoic characters so his acting ability/range cannot shine as much. Chawoong however is a character that is chaos personified and got everything from jerk with hidden heart and overinflated ego to dumbass sulky baby dork in love xD So obviously he has to use his full range for this character and he does it so damn well, tbh.
Just finished episode 15 & I like how they ended Mr. Nam's arc. It had me tearing up. The farewell with the ghosts…
I generally like how the ghost's backstories were so normal and almost mundane instead of epic tales of betrayal and death (outside of former gangster Ma, that is xD) It makes it more relatable and real this way.
And yeah same feeling i had with Mr. Queen when i watched all the episodes i also have here with FNOS. Took me a while to move on to other dramas afterwards and i expect it to be the same here.
If your dislike is based on the rumors being still spread over a decade later, you may want to reevulate your…
Oh i know it is difficult at times, but it is always important to separate the character from the actor, as he is an actual sweetheart IRL from what i gathered. Does support lot of charities and is very kind on set to everyone etc.
I had the problem with Lee Jong Suk too, whom i watched in "W-Two Worlds" first and i hated everything about that drama. The story that went batshit crazy, his acting, looks and lack of chemistry with FL etc) Thus i avoided to watch his dramas for a long while lol. But then i stumbled over "Romance Is A Bonus Book" and i fell in love with that drama and his cheeky, warm/caring character that made me reevaluate my stance on him as ML haha. Helped that the chemistry and acting was a lot better too of course. By now i don't mind him as much and have even finished quite a few of his dramas.
PHJ has a penchant to play the more cool and distant characters and villains too, from what i gathered so that could make it hard to warm up to him/his acting. So i think Chawoong is the right character to manage that here, as it allows him to go the full range of jerk with a golden heart and inflated ego to adorkable dramatic/extra sulky baby dumbass (who is completely whipped by FL) and back, and it is such fun to watch it, haha.
Hope you enjoy and lemme know how it goes, even if it turned out to be not your thing in the end ;)
Short answer; Yes. (eps. 13) Long answer. Yes. Chaseul is a sweet slow burn romance which develops organically…
Short answer: No they are never together, they have a date and he confesses then to her, but at this point she already likes Chawoong, so nothing comes out of it.
Long answer with some more bg: Okay so they know each other for a decade and she has had a crush on him since teenage days. Normally they would have been in the trajectory to become a couple, if it weren't for the guy to keep her at arms' length all these years, that is. He clearly likes the smitten attention (if you have seen Strong Woman DBS the SML there is almost like a clone in FNOS lol) Seulhae gives him, but does nothing about it. Keeps her as friend and "backup" plan, i guess. He is the kind of guy who ignores her affection for years on end and only acts when a) she stops showering him with smitten attention as much and b) another guy enters the picture she shows interest in and the other way around. Ugh.
Anyway, so her crush persists for almost for the first half of the drama, BUT you also see a shift toward liking Chawoong happen and in her general behavior too toward cop. Very subtle at first but becomes more apparent the longer the story goes on/the more time she spends with her future hubby hehe.
They go on a date (honestly you gotta watch the bowling scene for yourself bc it is just super hilarious) and afterwards cop confesses to her. All seems as if they will become a couple, but at this point her heart has already shifted from a teenage crush to her true love (Chawoong) so nothing comes out of it. The how and why and for more details you best watch for yourself. It is so worth it. Especially when Chawoong in the latest episodes (eps.14) goes rubbing it it to him via emphasizing the word "girlfriend." Petty dork is petty π
oh naur did he sacrifice his soul for seulhae in that preview of ep16 jeez naur naur
writer nim loves characters sacrificing everything for their loved ones, so i guess this will happen... but with a twist. As writer nim also loves to reward characters for such sacrifice with their happy ending π (See Mystic Pop Up Bar)
i look forward to this one too and will watch it. So i think i will see you in that comment section then haha. I will still pop in here a lot for the time being of course.
It's confirmed Grandmother is no more πππ. https://www.soompi.com/article/1530583wpp/park-hae-jin-and-jin-ki-joo-approach-the-final-showdown-in-from-now-on-showtime
Damn she always was a "You, in danger" character with an X painted on her back buuut seeing she made it to the final I thought maybe they will spare her after all. But nope alas. It makes sense tho in a way that it isolates Chawoong even more in his battle with evil creeper and fully pushes him into that shaman role. Raised stakes and his character coming full circle. Love to see it but could have done without granny being offed tbh π
I am more pissed about their last minute break up should it happen due to Chawoong's noble idiocy tbh. Even if…
That makes actually a lot of sense and not only because it would finally bring her on one page with her future hubby haha. I always disliked how Chawoong is the only one remembering everything tbh. About time Seulhae gets to meet her former badass self haha.
It also would "link" her to her powers and the "miracle" we are bound to expect for both to survive the showdown, and have their happy ever after 2000 yrs later. Hope we get to see it.

Haha, well they have become my favorite kdrama otp after mr.queen's cheoljong/soyong tbh, so i tend to nerd out a lot about themπ€£ It was not really spoilery, but i tagged it now just in case. Hope you enjoy it tho <3
Oh and if you watch on viki with comment function on... you may come across a lot of my comments too lol

Lmao, Areum really doesn't give a convincing old woman, as fresh-faced as the actress is π€£
