Bruh if that wife thinks her husband is cheating with Ha-Kyung π€¦π»ββοΈπ€¦π»ββοΈπ€¦π»ββοΈ…
Hehe. Joke aside though, i am as annoyed by it as you are. Plus the guy is getting too comfy in Ha-kyungs home, eating all the meat Si Woo bought on his own and blocking the living room far too often etc. He really needs to talk to his family and find a better (living) solution instead his continuous avoidance atm.
First episodes of HPL are fun (especially PMY's fangirling), but after they get together it loses all steam imo (romance scenes are still cute tho but ultimately adds nothing), and it drags on and on while especially the latter half added stupid and unbelievable plot/character threads for needless drama over ML's family and co (makjang is it called i believe?) I was only able to complete it on 1.5x speed while rolling my eyes lol. The drama's meager plot would have suited 10 episodes instead 16 better. But that is just IMO of course and YMMV, but it proved to me that MDL ratings/opinions and I do not click bc this was just the first of several times where i did not like a drama MDL swooned over and gave high ratings while I was... WHYYYYY ππ€£ (worst case but best example of it all is the drama "W" still my most hated drama i have watched so far, whoops)
Funny thing is some people comparing these two different showns when they are completely different genre. I really…
Hmm, fair, i honestly don't mind such shows and even watch them when i want something more light, funny, fluffy and tropey such as business proposal. You get what you see on the tin and this can be oddly satisfying too as it is an easy, relaxing watch. Best is of course when you get all of that in a neat package with good writing/plot/characters and/or more mature themes like in Mr Queen (still the best mixture of comedy with more serious themes and great plot/characters for me) or idk, our beloved summer, thirty but seventeen (very good portrayal of trauma/ptsd) or dali and the cocky prince, but i also enjoy(ed) 2521, WLFKBJ, or Extraordinary You with younger protagonists very much as well, for different reasons. I think both "kind" of shows have their right to exist... Personally i am glad for the variety and having more and more "mature" dramas to pick from nowadays instead "only" the school/tween coming of age stories. Hence why i like FLAW so much currently. (Dali and the cocky prince is as delightful a watch atm, ngl :D)

Hard same, like i really enjoy 2521 but its fans are so unbearably smug about how it is the best thing ever (an opinion i do not share lol, as i see pacing issues with it but nvm) that it made me unreasonably annoyed toward its watcher/fandom and have lost all will to discuss this show in detail lol. The comparisons of the drams are even more stupid bc FLAW and 2521 have nothing in common except for airing at the same time/day.
(FLAW is just more my thing bc the protagonists are older and thus dealing more mature topics past the usual coming of age etc story, which vibes a loooot more with where i am at IRL)
My maybe unpopular opinion I like how this drama is presenting the relationship in mature not fluffy childish…
Tnat is basically the appeal for me with this drama, ngl. Their relationship is more layered than in other, more typical romcom dramas, imo, and that makes it so interesting to me.
I'm at episode 5 and oh gosh the ML is just the cutest and funniest guy. So very head over heels for FL from the get go, while keeping denying it and yet following her like a puppy vying for her attention. I love him already. Excellently played by Kim Min Jae as well with all the subtle expressions of affection/swooning, and not so subtle vocal denial. He gets very loud(mouthed) at times but this only serves to distract from his own awkwardness and kindness shining through beneath all the boisterous behavior. And above all else i love how very whipped he already is while (unsuccessfully) trying to convince everyone around him that he is NOT, hahaha.
In fact, he is the personified song from Disney's Hercules "I Won't Say (I'm In Love)" and it is hilarious π
flaw and 2521 are definitely my faves of this year, at least the 1st half anyway
Yeah i love both shows for different reasons, tho FLAW is always the one i choose to watch first because i love it a little bit more and need to know what happens next asap, haha.
I do like noona romances but do not like younger pushover heroes such as park bo gum and his big smile in encounter.…
The age gap is kinda nullified through Si-Woo being such a good, levelheaded and mature guy who is able to express himself and his feelings so well, readily and openly toward his partner. Someone who knows what he wants and pursues it without disrespecting the boundaries of others/his partner. He is gentle and caring too, like that kind of guy who will go at all lengths for the one he loves once he has commited to a relationship, which is what we currently see with him. So yeah that are reasons why the age gap really does play no role between them outside of job positions. They complete each other well, rather tbh.
Yes , they look like lost brothers , and plus they are both my favorite korean actors. Besides Song Kang has similarity…
omg, i have watched quite a few dramas starring Yeo Jin Goo lately (currently beyond evil) as he reeeeally impressed me with his acting in "the crowned clown." So i had to double-check back here on MDL after i started watching this drama to make sure the ML ain't the same actor haha. Because hell even the tone and infliction of their voices is quite similar. Long lost twins indeed xD
Hm, what was the disappointed look of Min woo lol, he thought she was gonna stay beside him forever while living…
Typical SML behavior in dramas aka "What she stopped pining over me? Why, i don't understand and it makes me want to be more than friends with her after all. Which i will confess to her during a very untimely point in time where she has already fallen completely for the ML," You know the drill, lol.
Honestly, I was worried that he wouldn't know the truth of her identity until 4+ episodes later. Luckily they…
Yeah with all the hints not only dropping but blundering him the past two episodes, it was high time for the resolution of it, which leads to new fun conflicts of course xD

TL:DR: It is good (character) writing, yall :D
