daaaaamn, Rowoon's acting in THAT scene. How he goes from calling her name with honorifics to a panicked wake up and her name without, *begging* her to wake up as he held her in his arms, and then him breaking down in the hospital 😭 So raw. He really gave his all for the role, amazing.
In case you are asking what he is saying while the song plays it is "Let me just see her for a moment, please. Please!" 😭
Ngl, that small woman wrestling back a 1,91m tall Rowoon was unintentionally funny 😂
Yup I agree.I’d just drop a drama when I felt that it wasn’t for me. No need to waste time and keep complaining.
This may sound extra hipster and i am trying not to, but god there are SO MANY popular and highly rated kdramas here on MDL that fell super flat for me. Flatter than a pancake even.
I need to make a list one of these days with those 😂
twitter is much more positive about DWY. Dunno what it is about MDL these days.
i can't help but to think that tiktok was the worst invention that could have happened to the internet and ppl's attention span, bc damn it was not this bad before you could get insta-gratification in a 10-30 sec clip over and over /boomer talk 😂

i feel this is more a problem with the attention span these days tbh 🙃 As i am a relatively new watcher to kdrama myself (2021) and prefer the recent kdrama over old ones (my cutoff point to watch a kdrama is around 2012, it gets too dated before that), but i noticed how people have like zero patience these days to wait and see a story unfolding, least of all follow it when not everything is spelled out for them💀
Ep 14 & 15 are great. We might get a happy ending tonight.
we WILLget a happy ending. Remember the phone call with Eun Wol saying I had a conception dream. It is a girl"? Yeah that is the writer's clever way to give spoilers that the leads are gonna be fine (and parents haha.)
Also the pre-preview posted seems to be past the whole mountain drama?

Also i am not sure why people expect to be spoonfed every single detail in a story without an amount of thinking/paying attention themselves these days, ngl. DWY is not even that complicated, lmao.
If i were to have a gripe with this story it would be how Hongjo STILL keeps running off into danger without a care in the world and any sense of self-preservation. Like i would have preferred the writer to bring back the baddie into the picture without making her plot-dumb (aka losing all common sense in order to make plot happen)

yeeeeah, i have been experiencing that with Moving lately, a kdrama that everyone on MDL loved but i was bored out of my mind of while watching. So i could have just grit my teeth and keep watching since i already watched 12 eps atp wanting it to be as good as people say it is, and stinking up the comment section with my negative comments.... ooooor i could accept that it is not for me despite the hype and move on with my life.
You'll undoubtedly feel butterflies because of the chemistry. Although there is a love triangle involving ML,…
The cure disease spell spell does work too but it only kept SY's curse at bay bc it does not work against curses and when *spoiler* creepy stalker does his curse against the leads, it accelerates everything again, nullifying HJ's cure disease spell. Hence the return of the bloody hand later on.
I mean just because the writer does not roll out a banner saying "SPELLS ARE REAL/DO WORK" doesn't mean the context is not given in the story itself 🤣😉
One thing does not contradict the other here, bc the love potion served as an enhancer for budding feelings instead to conjure them out of nothing for Shinyu. Rewatch the first episodes, if you missed it. This is not a drama you can watch while being on your phone as it requires you to pay attention to its details since the writer does not spell everything out for youl.
"The plot is messy." No it is not, it is just a different way to tell a story, lmao
i feel so many people here should avoid stories (not just kdrama) with non-linear plot lines in the future as picking up on details given out of order in a narrative is clearly not for you 😂
Two of my favorite actors finally had a scene together: Ha Joon (Kwon Jae-kyung) and Kim Kwon (Haum CEO). KJK…
Hajoon plays shady so well it is no wonder he is settled with ambiguous characters each time haha. But at least there is now Taeho who is bratty but straightforward, heh.
The way he ditched work and went to go where ever his girlfriend just to see her throughout episode 15...Jang…
Also not him waiting at the bank for her, because he "does not want them to drift apart" which in reality means he has not seen her for a few hours max. What a clingy bby 😆
This drama has really great lines…whether it’s flirting or the angst…
yes, another one that made me cackle was when the landlord lady said "A boyfriend too tall and too handsome is never good." and the dry way Hajun delivered his "I agree/that is what i said." and continued eating his piece of apple. Smooth acting here, haha.

I chose the latter. Obviously 😂

Yeah spells being real in a fantasy drama should shock/surprise absolutely no one tbh. But somehow it still does hahaha
