oh my gooooddddd, mirin, my queen, going ooooooooff on this rude asshole of a brother was so so so cathartic to watch. π π π π π π π π
I love that the writer did not forget to include scenes like that to lower the viewer's frustration with asshole chars, bless.
They're not promoting it. KBS2 really fked this drama up wiht the constant postponement. It's self sabotage atp,…
Yeeeeah agreed. Like there is people calling it slow, when it is actually having a good build up and introduction of all story lines. Problem is only it feels like forever being stuck in the introductory phase due to those delays. We should have been past that and would have been with normal programming, but alas no such thing.
That is why it feels more progress is made in the daily, for example, as there we have gotten at least 3 eps per week even with the sport event vs the one per week. While episode-wise it is kinda the same, it had more presence to the viewer with one eps per day instead a week of nothing, so it feels like progressing faster than LYOL.

Yeeeeah, it was the worst time to start a new weekend drama indeed. Asia Games are only all four years right? I wonder if the weekender at that time before this one had to suffer this hard under the sport event too. Really stupid self-sabotage of kbs with the ratings and all.
Feels the much more subpar TRHC had a lot more buzz and build up from the start even if its ratings were never that great either. Hope Netflix picks it up later on, this is what gave TRHC (undeserved) more reach (internationally) too.
5eps in and moody shower scenesβ¦director and screenwriters I salute you π«‘
it is what we deserve after episodes being postponed again and again tbh π
Kinda bummed to think we could have been at eps 9/10 next weekend by now, but instead we only are going to watch 6/7, welp. Seems TH starts crushing on HS next time tho.
it was the same with TRHC, the prior weekender tho. Always a day later on viki with kocowa having varying sub speeds. Often several hours later tho. It happens with shows that are not *that* popular internationally, tho.
It reminds me of that dilemma: the train and it running over a few people (his κ°λ¬Έ people getting killed) vs…
I feel this was the idea of having her dismembered yeah. A punishment beyond death, if you will. Hence why Mujin also killed her, with his last words being if there is another life, let's be happy. Since he wanted to have a chance of this happening. Both were already dying anyway so it did not make much of a difference but in this way they were able to die together at least.
How are they friends and never met each others families? Was that explained?
They seem to only meet outside in the Cafe etc and never in each other's homes. Depends also how long they have been friends for so them not knowing each other's fams could be normal. Plus ML had been abroad for a long while too so yeah. But mostly it is a plot device you often find in these types of show lol. Best not to over think it π
from the synopsis i was hoping the Fl would start ignoring her pathetic family from the preview it seems she will…
It's reaching the boiling point now. This story arc needs some build up first to be able to reach the breaking point after all. And Taeho will be the catalyst for all of it. It just feels like forever due to the effed up airing schedule tbh. But now it is finally back to two episodes next weekend, until December at least (kbs awards) Just hate that we are stuck with an uneven number now so a double episode would have been the best idea here but alas we can't have nice things ππ

Tbf, this was also due to kbs announcing it would air later everywhere and then it did not. So everyone missed the first half of eps4. Knetz complained about that already and watched the reruns. But yeah it is all but an ideal situation for this show with the constant disruptions and delays. Really self manipulation in a way when the drama itself is actually well-structured and the introduction of the arcs/chars done well too. Hope it will pick up and establish itself now where this event is finally over
Catching up and all these "right under your nose moments are so weekend/family drama but in an ironic funny way. I like that the show is not taking itself too seriously. Some of the acting is rough, but there are also a lot of rookies aboard not to forget (particular ML's line delivery and gestures feels very acted and unnatural, imo FL does have a better flow with her actions and dialogue in her scenes. Love FL's temper too, ML better buckle up π. But on the other hand it kinda fits ML's self-absorbed, head in the clouds dorky character heh)
Speaking of main character syndrome... I find the SFL more amusing than annoying rn. Especially with how she is like "that went well, he is gonna fall for me." after talking to ML, while ML is like "i gotta be nice to weirdos i guess" π SFL is the personified expectations vs reality tbh π€£
The only char pissing me off in here outside of FL's ex is Yuri, aka the arrogant spoiled daddy's guuuurl piss-princess that looks down on others. Always hate this character archetype always will. So far a nice relaxed watch for in between.
Don't know why those people coming at dwy, when i see another mdl recent dramas discussion, not have many hateful…
I feel people have no patience anymore nowadays to wait and see a story unfolding bit by bit. They seem to want to be spoonfed everything and immediately when this is not how this drama works. And gosh beware if the writer also dares to tell it in a non-linear way with not giving every detail to the viewer asap. The audacity lmao. Sarcasm aside, It all came together beautifully in eps 14. The glimpses of their past life were finally fully shown and in the most cinematic wonderful ways at that. Stellar acting as well. Everything is making sense now (except the noble idiocy, which never ever does lol) and they are finally and literally free to love each other. It's amusing in a way how stalker psycho made it possible for them π
It is along Call It Love my favorite kdrama for 2023 this far, which had been a very mid year thus far with a lot of dramas being meeeeh. (yes I'm counting Moving toward this as well, didn't like it personally)
I found it a little strange that in ep 13 the shaman told FL that everything should have been okay if she were…
Yeah all it did was taking away the agency in the matter and make him suffer more. But that's the 'logic' of leaving someone because you love them too much lmao. Noble idiocy is really the worst trope ever. No exceptions.
It's time both this narcissistic piss-princess and her daddy dearest face the music tbh. I think SML will be a key figure here in revealing the shady deal instead of cooperating with them. Which would be pretty much political death for the mayor and thus loss of power for both. Plus reveal that she cooperated with the psycho stalker pls. I get that SY was worried about HJ first and foremost but he let her off too easy here.
