It's been a long time since I've watched something this intense and yet even during the very painful scenes, I didn't want to miss the details. I had to hold my breath especially for Chiaki as at some point, it did seem he had WAY too many things on his plate. This drama's imprint will stay with me for a long time. Echoing the other comments, WELL DONE Itagaki Rihito!
19 ep in with minimal angst/stress, making me smile a lot in many scenes. Refreshing characters, no annoying 2nd leads who keep pushing their feelings onto their main leads. The sound effects are hilarious and very appropriately timed (not too much, just enough). Chef's kiss!
I love FL's BFF's rant about the comments on her web novel's progress/plot/characters. It made me laugh HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHH...It's true, though, you can never please everybody no matter what.

Yep, I can wait until I'm ready he he he...big shoes indeed. And yes, at the end of the year it's lovely to have such a drama like The Forbidden Marriage.
I haven’t enjoyed a show this much since From Now on Showtime! This drama is cute and lighthearted. I’m struggling…
Same, I've also enjoyed the comedy and the cast of this drama (even though I know nothing much about the main cast). I haven't even started watching AOS part 2. I feel like I have to get rid of Jung So Min's image first before starting, so I'm going to wait until later.
I can totally relate to Xu Kai's character. The way he asked his previous boss about what had happened YEARS ago and the boss was like, "It all happened so long ago." Yeppp...if something that big and devastating had been done to me, I would have been traumatized like that, too (and I would have wanted some explanation, even after ALL those years have passed).
I love how Yang Hua cried in front of Qin Shi, it's rare to see a ML show their vulnerability to their lover,…
Agree, it's clear that FL is over SML from miles away. And I also like seeing ML being vulnerable in front of FL. That speaks of trust. ML is a different breed compared to SML and FL is now enjoying what ML can offer. It's a contrast compared to SML with his current girlfriend. Status wise, SML's current girlfriend fits his mom's expectations better, but it doesn't mean they are on par with each other in other ways. FL is obviously way more mature in many ways compared to SML's current girlfriend.
On the other hand, same as you, I feel that ML can support FL in many ways (and they work together/communicate so well, too, despite the fact that they've only known each other for a short time). I feel that they can balance each other well, even though it's also clear why FL and SML can work together well at work when they're working on the same case.
I also feel bad for Wu Fei at some points. I mean, if SML really absolutely wants to make Wu Fei feel secure in their relationship, he wouldn't have involved Qin Shi in his cases (esp. after knowing how insecure Wu Fei has been). It's bad enough that they have to keep meeting each other and working in the same office. And when Wu Fei confronted SML about it at his place and Wu Fei stormed out of his apartment, she was waiting for him to go after her, but he didn't do it. YIKES!!! No wonder Wu Fei becomes even more agitated.
It'd be great if the characters get over their past and come out stronger in the end...that is to say, YH realizing…
I don't get the whole thing, either, but it seems he's being blamed/framed for one big mistake, although I'm not too sure it was fully his fault. That is why he was triggered at the party when he met Mr. Wang. The flashback to his past showed that when he gave his resignation letter to the boss, Mr. Wang then told him, "Good that you quit, so I can blame you for this mess. After all, the one who quit can take the fall, right?" Then YH almost hit him right then and there.
I still can't get over this😭😭😭how could he play games on his phone and ignored her OML🤦♀️🤦♀️was…
That bit felt choppy, don't you think? Felt like they had cut some scenes in between. I forgot that the gaming scene came after the the kiss (for some weird reason I thought the gaming scene came before the kiss).
This is probably the first time I go "ahhh, now I get why he's like that" when it comes to Qin Shi's second brother. They hinted at how he became that way in the earlier episodes, but still it didn't click for me until now (when he had that emotional outburst at his place and blurted things out verbally).
I can feel Jun Hui getting more and more annoyed by his fiancee's constant obsession of beating and putting down…
The scene at the dinner table with Wu Fei's parents was so awkward for Jun Hui. Wu Fei was the only one excited. Jun Hui's mom nailed in on the head when she realized her son wasn't smiling genuinely.
