May i ask why is it called She and Her Perfect Husband?i though perfect husband means her husband got everything…
She actually said it at the end of ep 8. When ML's mother came to her firm to find her and FL and ML finally got down to talk in an enclosed room and ML's mother asked what was the deal with their "partnership", FL explained it to her what it meant: that their plan to get married isn't because of love, but because of partnership and that way ML can be her "perfect husband".
Edit: Actually I rewatched the episode, it wasn't at the end of ep 8. But I sure did see it somewhere ha ha...
I actually felt a bit sad for ML when he was meeting up with his biological mother and then his biological mother ordered the servants to go away. He probably expected that they could have some warm, private conversation, but instead their conversation only made him feel neglected again (that she didn't know him well enough to ask him to marry Song Wu). Granted, it did seem she wanted to talk more to him, but he (understandably) cut the visit short before she could offer him tea or ask him to sit down for a chit-chat.
Amidst all the kick ass scenes of women in the restaurant one scene I loved and gives such a subtle hint of the…
Yep, I even felt he was hinting to the King that he wasn't the one providing him with excellent education. Same as the scene with ML and his biological mother, in which he hinted her neglect by saying that "maybe you just don't know me well enough, but I think of Song Wu as my sister."
Ep 17&18: i love grandpa & grand daughter’s scene it was so heart touching, remind me of my late grandpa.I am…
That heart-to-heart talking scene between FL and grandpa made me cry because it reminded me of my late mother. My mom also gave me jewelleries when I got married and she said the same thing as grandpa: if I needed money, I could always sell them.
I wonder about that, too. It seems that ML was described as the weak prince (was perhaps sickly?), so biological mother didn't pay too much attention to him? It seems she focuses more on the youngest prince.
I liked his hair best in Arsenal Military Academy. So swoon worthy 🥰
I haven't seen that one, either, because of the same reason. I checked out Ancient Love Poetry, but stopped somewhere (forgot which episodes). He looks gorgeous there, too he he he...
I've been wondering about that law firm culture of single women being unable to go up the ranks, too. It seems…
Yeah, too bad it's so hard to change this type of toxic environment. I don't know much about the law firm environment (or the Chinese working environment in general other than in dramas), but it seems so far that there may be other factors (higher-ups) that affect this environment in this drama. Lady boss doesn't seem to have the biggest power to change things at their firm.
Can't help laughing when FL pulled his jogger pants and he pulled them back WAKAKAKAKAKAKAK...That scene was hilarious! And when FL looked up the love language for mint, she said, "Now you make it awkward for us both." Those funny moments!
Phew! Had to watch ep 22 first before starting other airing dramas. Let me rip off my heart from my chest ASAP so I can get over this gut-wrenching episode. Now I have to watch other dramas to uplift my spirit.
