So far I really enjoy both main leads. I feel that they're intellectually on par. He's good at some things, bad at others. She's also good at some things, but bad at other things. But when they work together, they can become a decent team together (helping each other with their weaknesses because their strengths aren't the same/similar).
Itβs not too bad. ML is in his late 20s and FL is in her early 30βs so the characters have a 6 year age gap. The…
Hmmm...but he is better at cleaning things and cooking and wasn't it mentioned that he had bought the house where his parents lived? Even though the fund is in his mama's name, he is still the one doing the trading stuff. He even said that his friend who worked at a company earned less yearly than what he got with trading stuff. Sure, I also dislike the part where his fund is in his mama's name, but I don't know how things go in China.
At least from the last two ep, he's been very helpful to her, as well, in terms of helping her with her career. She, on the other hand, owns an apartment, but it's quite a mess that he had to be the one cleaning and organizing stuff. She gave him two likes in the last ep because of what he had done. I feel that intellectually, they're on par with each other. She may be good at some things, but he's also good at other things. At the party they went to, he could guess right away that the man they met was her ex-boyfriend and thus he reacted accordingly (by holding her hand). And she was also surprised at how well he memorized the people in the parties and their job descriptions (this is something she's not that good at).
Watch my heroic Husband, same director, many of the same actors on this show. Similar background music, costume,…
Ahahahahah...I thought I was the only one. I also felt the ML looked so baby face (same as you, nothing wrong with a baby-faced man, just not my preference for dramaland), but because the FL is also so cute and bubbly and the drama had more heartwarming and funny scenes (and unique plot about sisterhood), I could ship them together easily.
Ep 21. When I was watching the scene when Li Xun visited Zhu Yun's parents, I felt there were SO many triggers on top of all the tragedy that he had experienced. His soul wounds are still fresh and then as has been repeatedly emphasized in the drama, he doesn't want other people's help in terms of money because he wants to be independent (and he also doesn't trust other people's motives except for Zhu Yun's), so when Zhu Yun's dad offered to pay for their expenses abroad, that was just too much for him. And the more he reacted that way (whether or not all his words were included in his plan), the more Zhu Yun's parents kept adding daggers to his wounds with their verbal attacks. Sigh...
I watched this drama because people told me this would have a happy ending. I'm going to go berserk if they change it into a sad ending ha ha ha ha ha ha...
I feel so suffocated every time Zhu Yun talks to her mom. I'm an Asian, too, but my mom was not the typical "I'm always right, whaddya you know, you naive youngster!" Asian parent, so I feel so rebellious every time Zhu Yun's mom appears on the screen. The typical: he/they can't be a good influence on you because you start to change (be rebellious) after you've met them. Even though in reality, the daughter just wants to become her own person instead of being the parents' puppet. UGH.
Same. I was also chanting for a kiss, even a peck on the cheek or something he he he...
Yeahhhh, I also thought for a second that she'd lean her head on his shoulder, but nope. Anyway, it seems next ep will be sweet (can't help watching the trailer LOL!).
Just startet this masterpiece for the 4th time :DIt's just perfect !
Yeeeeepppp. I also love the way they shot the scene when they first made love in his tiny flat. They didn't show anything at all, but the scene was SO memorable for me. So that kind of scene can be shot in such a way that made it feel so tender and special for the both of them (and the viewers could feel it, too).
For me this drama isn't Drama of the Year (though I love the OSTs), but it has many tender moments peppered here and there that I found it memorable enough. This drama makes me feel different things each episode for different characters, but it isn't the kind of drama that makes me feel that I can't wait to watch the new episode ASAP. Strange but true.
Same. I enjoyed this drama so much because of those reasons you mentioned. And I'm a sucker for clingy type of…
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...I grew up watching the old versions of Rambo and Terminator. I suspect I'm older than you LOL! But yeah, I'm also glad that it's OK for guys to show a softer side of themselves.
Hmmm...I just peeked into your to-watch list. I enjoyed My Fated Boy A LOTTTT!!! Even though it's clearly not high-budget, but the guy is also a bit on the clingy side, though he's already graduated. Great chemistry and no angsty break-up, either he he he...I also love My Secret Love Affair (for noona romance) that has such a great chemistry between the two leads, but it's much more angsty overall.
