Ep 17&18: i love grandpa & grand daughter’s scene it was so heart touching, remind me of my late grandpa.I am…
That heart-to-heart talking scene between FL and grandpa made me cry because it reminded me of my late mother. My mom also gave me jewelleries when I got married and she said the same thing as grandpa: if I needed money, I could always sell them.
I wonder about that, too. It seems that ML was described as the weak prince (was perhaps sickly?), so biological mother didn't pay too much attention to him? It seems she focuses more on the youngest prince.
I liked his hair best in Arsenal Military Academy. So swoon worthy 🥰
I haven't seen that one, either, because of the same reason. I checked out Ancient Love Poetry, but stopped somewhere (forgot which episodes). He looks gorgeous there, too he he he...
I've been wondering about that law firm culture of single women being unable to go up the ranks, too. It seems…
Yeah, too bad it's so hard to change this type of toxic environment. I don't know much about the law firm environment (or the Chinese working environment in general other than in dramas), but it seems so far that there may be other factors (higher-ups) that affect this environment in this drama. Lady boss doesn't seem to have the biggest power to change things at their firm.
Can't help laughing when FL pulled his jogger pants and he pulled them back WAKAKAKAKAKAKAK...That scene was hilarious! And when FL looked up the love language for mint, she said, "Now you make it awkward for us both." Those funny moments!
Phew! Had to watch ep 22 first before starting other airing dramas. Let me rip off my heart from my chest ASAP so I can get over this gut-wrenching episode. Now I have to watch other dramas to uplift my spirit.

YES! I love his hair in that drama, too he he he...here he has a totally different aura, but it's nice to see the difference for example when he was wearing the suit he brought himself (to the party) vs the suit that she picked for him.
I was nicely surprised when he realized right away that Tao Jun Hui was her ex-boyfriend, so he pretended to be…
Yeah. I'm curious about her parents. Her eldest brother said their family wasn't conventional, so I wonder what it's going to be like. The ML's parents are totally depicted as the traditional type (must be tough for him to go against the current), but dunno yet about hers. The only hint I got was that her family wasn't considered "good enough" by the ex-boyfriend's mother.
So far I really enjoy both main leads. I feel that they're intellectually on par. He's good at some things, bad…
I was nicely surprised when he realized right away that Tao Jun Hui was her ex-boyfriend, so he pretended to be more touchy-feely with her at the party. For a character with a high IQ, I find it refreshing that they portray him like this instead of the usual arrogant or awkward type. He has his own standards of what a good living he wants to achieve (not having to work at a company etc.). I can't wait to see how powerful this duo can be when they work together more in the next episodes.
So far I really enjoy both main leads. I feel that they're intellectually on par. He's good at some things, bad at others. She's also good at some things, but bad at other things. But when they work together, they can become a decent team together (helping each other with their weaknesses because their strengths aren't the same/similar).
It’s not too bad. ML is in his late 20s and FL is in her early 30’s so the characters have a 6 year age gap. The…
Hmmm...but he is better at cleaning things and cooking and wasn't it mentioned that he had bought the house where his parents lived? Even though the fund is in his mama's name, he is still the one doing the trading stuff. He even said that his friend who worked at a company earned less yearly than what he got with trading stuff. Sure, I also dislike the part where his fund is in his mama's name, but I don't know how things go in China.
At least from the last two ep, he's been very helpful to her, as well, in terms of helping her with her career. She, on the other hand, owns an apartment, but it's quite a mess that he had to be the one cleaning and organizing stuff. She gave him two likes in the last ep because of what he had done. I feel that intellectually, they're on par with each other. She may be good at some things, but he's also good at other things. At the party they went to, he could guess right away that the man they met was her ex-boyfriend and thus he reacted accordingly (by holding her hand). And she was also surprised at how well he memorized the people in the parties and their job descriptions (this is something she's not that good at).
Watch my heroic Husband, same director, many of the same actors on this show. Similar background music, costume,…
Ahahahahah...I thought I was the only one. I also felt the ML looked so baby face (same as you, nothing wrong with a baby-faced man, just not my preference for dramaland), but because the FL is also so cute and bubbly and the drama had more heartwarming and funny scenes (and unique plot about sisterhood), I could ship them together easily.
