Yeah, for Cdramas esp. I tend to want to read spoilers, too, for the same reason (also 'coz many Cdramas tend to have more eps than, for example, Jdramas or Kdramas) ha ha ha ha ha...but same as you, sometimes I get into a new drama and then get hooked LOL LOL!!!!

YES, he grew on me during Lost You Forever, though I only started warming up to him after about a dozen episodes he he...I'm also looking forward to his future projects, but since I have a soft spot for semi comedic characters/dramas like this one, this may be one of his most beloved character for me due to the plot (because he has to hide who he really is and he has so many conflicting feelings). That's one of the reasons I truly enjoy this drama. He gets to show off many different expressions.
I haven't seen FL in other dramas, either, but she really suits her role here and the chemistry between the two of them is ADORABLE he he he...

As much as the cold type can be charismatic, but living with a funny person (that has a similar sense of humor) makes your life better.

I remember one time a friend told me that during Covid lockdowns (during the time when they had to work from home a lot), lots of couples realized that they couldn't handle being in the same house together for days on end. This friend of mine said, "Why did you get married if you don't like spending a lot of time with each other like that?" LOL!
What I also like about this drama is also the fact that they're not the typical (cough cough) childhood sweethearts. Getting tired of the trope that puts first love on a pedestal.

Yes, I love how his eyes can show remorse/sorrow while his lips pretend to smile due to his conflicting emotions...or when he tries to pretend he's not jealous/when he tries to suppress his feelings/desire HEHEHEHEHEHEH...Due to the plot of this drama, he can show so many different micro expressions. I LOVE it!
When each of them respectively started to want to be spoiled by the other person, that's when it's clear that their intimacy level had gone up. Examples:
If we don't take account the lies and the amnesia, the two leads are actually a power couple. LMT is worth being the spouse of a general/lord like Cui Xing Zhou. LMT can help CXZ in many different ways that none of the other two ladies can do (in this drama particularly He Zhen/A Lian).
He Zhen + Zhao Quan fit each other better he he he he...love the fact that Zhao Quan left that cute drawing in her carriage LOL LOL!!!! I really like the actor who plays Zhao Quan, too. He fits the role perfectly and he has a natural rapport with Zhang Wan Yi.
