We'll see each other there! haha, and hopefully that drama will manage to captivate us the same way. I've been…
I watched LBFAD right after TSL. Gave TSL a solid 10, LBFAD 8.5 ha ha...I'm also waiting for Zhang Ling He/Bai Lu CP in Kunning Palace. They look great together, as well he he he...
I'm gonna watch Til the End of the Moon starting Thursday to see if it helps me with the slump TSL left me with.…
Is it HE? The synopsis sounds tiring, but I can live with it as long as it's HE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...Edit: Forget it, I just jumped over for 2 minutes and realized the novel has both endings (though I don't get how a novel can have 2 endings hmmm...unless it's pick-your-own-adventure type of novel).
Rant about certain familyDad: What does he want from Liang You’an? First he fires her in anger, then beg her…
But the mom wants the divorce NOW. It's the husband that keeps wanting to run away from signing the divorce papers. And it seems he's going to hire someone to find out if the wife is having an affair or not.
For JJ's dad, LYA is just a pawn. She was too good of an assistant, he wouldn't promote her or let her go at first. Then he got mad and fired her, then he was in trouble because of the tennis club (people spread rumour that the club is there because his son is a member of the club and the club hadn't been making profit at all), so he needed someone to help him make the club better, but then when he realized the big boss was making him compete with Gao at work and Gao tried to attack him by using the tennis club to accuse him of unfair money use, he made a deal with Gao so that things would be easier for him. The deal included the closing of the tennis club. To appease LYA, the shithead just told her to come back to the company.
Jiao Jiao: But the dad did pay half of the money for their training this time, remember? And because his dad has some power to decide what to do with the tennis club (he was the one who decided to close it down because of the deal with Gao), it's only normal for JJ to ask him to keep the club. On a personal level, in my opinion it's normal for JJ to want to show his dad how serious he is with tennis and how much he's improved. After all, he's now at rank 95. Unfortunately, his dad is an A-hole.
So how many of us could not help but smile and think that could be us in the kitchen cooking with him? I was so…
The pattern continues everywhere with Jiao Jiao's dad. First promising LYA for promotion after XX years and it kept on going "You're not ready yet, you should learn more bla bla...". Same as what he did with his wife. Later, later....all bullshit promises. And then the typical, "Are you having an affair? Name the man's name!" I actually liked that they added this line there, because then the mom got to say her line, "So you think if a woman wants a divorce, it's all because of an affair? Can't it be because she's just had enough?"
I'm also cheering for JJ's mom. The way she let him lash out verbally and then calmly said, "You should look at yourself in the mirror and your gestures when you speak to me. I'm not your employee." And then she also said calmly, "I don't want a marriage without love. I can survive in a marriage without s*x, but not when there's no love." And you could see him shaking and trying to run away from the convo again. Ugh.
When SSC ordered a taxi and then sent the link to LYA and then on screen there's the map of the taxi and two HEARTS,…
Yeah, he likes calling him An Cong (not dad), but they have a much better relationship and communication than many other real parent-child out there. They can joke around, they care about each other, An Cong's not smothering him with too much control (though he shares his concern when SSC has been practising too extremely), but they can talk about deep stuff, too.
Couldn't help laughing in ep. 19 during the talk between LYA and her friend.
If there is one male boss, then for an event like this, it'll be his one-man show. He will be keen on imparting his knowledge, values, and experiences to everyone. If there are two male bosses, then they will compete with each other. If there are three male bosses, then they will compliment one another. "You're great", "No, YOU're great", "No, no, no, yooouuu're great."
The dialogue between Jiao Jiao's parents on different occasions as well as Jiao Jiao's effort to show his parents…
Yeah, I felt they were important moments. The things that made Jiao Jiao's dad's "perfect doll house" crumble one by one...the way Jiao Jiao said to his mom, "I'm not surprised (about the upcoming divorce)", the coffee stain on the divorce paper and Jiao Jiao's mom's facial expressions when she saw the coffee stain. So many little details.
Even though these scenes were sad, I enjoyed the way they were portrayed in the drama.
The dialogue between Jiao Jiao's parents on different occasions as well as Jiao Jiao's effort to show his parents (esp. his dad) how serious he had been in improving his skills in tennis. My heart broke for him when his dad told him he had to close down the club. But the way they shot the scene afterwards was beautiful...his mom trying to wipe his sweat, and then we could see his sweat mingling with some tears while he tried to keep hitting the balls...oh my...
You're living vicariously through them. So nice when we can find dramas like this. It's been a long time since…
Yeeeeepppp. I never had a "normal" relationship. Both my relationships were long-distance ha ha ha ha...so it's nice to see something that I never got to experience (I get to experience it in dramas). Yep, thank goodness it's airing every day EHEHEHEHEHEHH...less torture!
When SSC ordered a taxi and then sent the link to LYA and then on screen there's the map of the taxi and two HEARTS, depicting the pick up point and destination and the taxi's progress towards the destination!!! SOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!
Just reminiscing something in my past. I never tried tennis, but I played badminton a little bit when I was younger (elementary school age), though not too much. Then in Junior High School we had sports day for a few days and the sport events were ping pong, basketball, and badminton (there were other events, too). Each class had to have representatives for these events and when my class teacher back then asked who would volunteer to play badminton, my naughty friend shouted my name. Mind you, I hadn't been playing badminton for a few years already by then and I think I had to borrow the racket from someone else. I was playing double with another classmate.
Before the event that day, my classmate and I tried to practise before the match. That was a bad move. My arm was already sore by the time the match happened and one of our opponents was famous for being a sporty girl LOL LOL!!! Needless to say we were beaten black and blue ha ha ha ha ha ha...but it becomes a funny memory now. Do you have any fun/funny/crazy memories regarding sports that emerge from watching this drama?
AARRGGGHHH...more sugary sweet scenes despite troubles brewing here and there. I was giggling like a little girl (which I'm not anymore LOL!) at the main CP scenes. That rush that you get when you miss the other person and no matter how tired you are, you're willing to go visit them ASAP. Ah...so sweet!

And her jealous looks in ep. 26 to the other girl LOL LOL!
