That mother-in-law is the most frightful violent woman I have ever seen portrayed in a long family drama. She…
there are some horrible people in this show but the mother in law and her brother in law are just despicable with the way they treat the FL . They never change either . On the other hand , the grandparents are such wonderful people
i'm not sure if it was just my cinema but as this movie was shot mainly in the dark lots of the scenes didn't…
Honestly, the scenes were dark but also I think the reason why it was hard to spot the faces in the reflective surfaces is the fact the camera wasn't focusing on it. For example, during the scene where the guy's neck is twisting all the way around , you don't put it together until the characters do but even before then, you can see the spirit holding the neck of the man. And the reflection of the windows of the spirit just hovering in the back.
It's hard to notice because I think it's meant to be treated as a fun hidden aspect. The thriller is the fact that something invisible is chasing the characters but in reality the spirit could always be seen if you just look close enough.

I do think the movie was quite dark - especially during the times I'm referring to (although maybe that was intentional) and even having one small light on in the theater will make the hidden things hard to see . I'll let you know specific scenes in reply under this so I don't spoil anyone .
Maybe I'm overthinking like pls tell me I'm just looking too hard at the logic but it's kind of ridiculous that the FL will openly go out with guys (especially Jihan), when she knows she's supposed to pretend to be in a serious relationship with Dohan .
Like don't get me started on Jihan's behavior towards her and his brother but she's smart enough to know to set boundaries bc this will totally backfire since both Jihan and her are being so painfully obvious.
Also, if you enjoyed this show then I'd recommend the New Zealand show "Creamerie". It has a similar premise where there are no men bc of a disease but the twist in the first ep is that the main cast suddenly runs into a man .
Right! I really like the dialogue about what it means to be captivated in reference to the showās title.
it might be a little too late in the night to do some real thinking but iām 95% sure there is some foreshadowing because of that connection and i wish i could articulate it right now š
tbh sae kyung does look like a really pretty guy - like total flower boy if you donāt know that sheās a girl but once you know it then you truly canāt unsee it
i wish they took off her makeup for those scenes cause then it would work better
either way this is pretty interesting so far āš»
