Maybe it's just stories involving prophecies and people living up to their true potential. I love robin hood stories, king arthur , if anyone has seen Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People. The feeling of an epic journey, fateful encounters - these type of stories are really fun to watch play out.
I love the development in Tagon and Taealha's relationship - it's been awhile since I've read Macbeth but their whole dynamic and their constant fight for power + the aftermath and mental toll of that fight reminds of that story.
This show made me care about characters that I absolutely hated . That's an immediate 10/10 for me.
Like it's crazy cause considering the CHILDREN and whole SPECIES of people Mubaek was involved with killing .. I still cared about him. Says alot about the acting and writing of the characters.
Also this is kind of the point . But it was just flabbergasting to me that everyone realized they destroyed and murdered people from the tribe where their whole religion is based off of and just brushed it off like it was nothing. The audacity and lack of empathy is just insane.
I was practically cheering when that one guy got his heart ripped out of his chest.
1. they didn't even say there was a time jump after the beginning. I was so confused for awhile and wondering…
For your 3rd point - It either could've been a puberty thing they were hinting at (although she seemed way older than the age where someone starts their period) I only say this because at the beginning of the movie, when she saw the blood she smiled and put on makeup.
- or something to do with that group that seemed to be doing rituals.
See the reply posting of "iamcarlmarc " just a few comments down with a link to Myasiantv. Kissasian also has…
Thanks for letting me know ! If it isn't too much, would you be able to send me a link to the dramacool page of this show ? I used to watch it on dramacool but no matter what I search nowadays, the show won't come up.
This is coming out really soon !! I see it's releasing in theaters in Singapore and Korea , but I can't find any screenings for the United States. If anyone knows anything about this movie being released in theaters in the U.S- please let me know !
I wondered why is it necessary to make Kim Bong Seok fat, then when I see the writer, I finally understand.
The other comment explains it nicely- but your lame attempt at making a fatphobic joke is really unnecessary. Both rude towards the writer, the actor that plays Kim Bongseok, and anybody else who doesn't fit your image of 'skinny'.
Even if it didn't make sense in the story for him to be fat, he still could be and that's okay and perfectly normal. His weight does not take away from how likable he is. I said it already but taking a jab at the writer's appearance- or name was also rude and unnecessary.
Honestly, by how the 10th episode went, it feels almost certain that it's Ryangeum at the beginning of the show. Although I'm ready to be surprised haha
I'm going crazy here PLEASE recommend a filler drama to watch for the next 7 weeks till next episode airs
If you're in for a long drama, Story of Yanxi Palace is excellent. Another one in the historical genre (and also by the same screenwriter of this show) is Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People.
While he was in the enemy's camp he was sending miniature letters to give information. Why the h@ didnt he write…
He was sending those letters with the help from the government- and during that time he was still in Joseon. I'm sure it would've been 10x more difficult to get a letter out when he's under the supervision of both the Khan and his own government- and not having an easy way for those letters to even get to Joseon.
Like of course there could be plot holes- but even the Crown Prince had no way of even getting to Joseon until so much time has passed, Janghyun has pretty much been trapped over there.
Won Moo will be one nasty fuck in second part. He will have a huge animosity for Jang Hyun.
Oh that's a given .. Like we all know that Gilchae hasn't moved on from Janghyun and would probably be unmarried forever- But him asking her to marry him in such a public place, the fact that her family and friends would support him before her ... It just seems that he's sure he'll get his way. But with Janghyun back in the picture, we have no telling what Wonmoo would do if Gilchae runs off with Janghyun.
Honestly I was kind of speechless after the 9th episode. This show has consistently left me on my toes. Like I seriously can't guess what's going to happen next.
But I'll trust the writer and I'll be ready for anything for the 10th episode ☝️
does anybody know how hwang ji hee died? It was so sad bc they finally had a child together and they were so happy…
They showed it earlier in the episodes about Heesu, but Jihee and Heesu got into a car accident and Heesu probably only survived because she has her dad's power's.
