both FL & ML are pretty with a puppy face. the subs on iQiyi are so bad I just get the general vibe and squeal
They subs are horrible on iqiyi for this one. I tried it for one episode and was appalled by it and I had to stop. I applaud you for being able to watch it through there. But indeed, their chemistry doesn't need no subs
I was so excited hearing his voice in both of them! Are you currently watching Ping Pong Life as well?
Ahhh I'm excited to binge it after YAMH ends! I wish that I had a good sports drama recommendation for you. :( I don't watch many sports themed dramas, hence why I'm overdue for one. We need to ask someone else for help on this XD

Whew! Thanks for the confirmation! I paused it at ep 4 because I didn't want to finish two BJT dramas in one go. I needed more BJT after watching BJT. I have been keeping up with comments and people were really going at the romance aspect like it ruined the drama. I'm long overdue for a sports drama.
I am so glad you wrote this article so I can wax on about the wonderful little moments! You are so spot on about…
Can't wait to finally unwind and watch it this weekend. I save the weekly episodes for one big binge!
I've been seeing a lot more actors and actresses use their real voices nowadays and I love it! Watching Zhang Binbin in Rattan and really enjoying him there!
Congrats on your first article, nicely done! I love the way of you gave your first impressions by genuinely included…
Thank you thank you!! I was inspired by your articles! It was the push that made me write mine :D I was hoping that last gif was a pushing factor for potential viewers XD
I came really fast as soon as I saw this drama's name lol. But, I completely agree with you. It doesn't have cheap…
Every time I see them together a smile automatically ignites on my face because I know something good will come when they're on screen together. This drama is definitely a gem. I haven't enjoyed modern romantic dramas in a while!
My comment is not about the novel, I didn't read the novel, but unfortunately all dramas BASED on any novel do…
I understand what you mean and wasn't trying to justify the novel to the drama. I'm just saying that despite the change in actress, the content itself didn't change. As I have watched both S1 and S2, I do agree that the change in actress did affect the overall feel for the drama.
The second season, despite the change in the lead actress, does follow the novel quite well. It's not its own entity although I feel like I know what you mean. As I read the novel, the mood felt different but it makes sense in this case as they are on another chapter/issue of their story. Change in the characters can definitely make a difference in the watching experience, so I know what you mean there!
Wanted to give a little comment. Maybe a bit late as I deliberately withhold watching this but believe me when…
Till this day, I don't even know how I finished the novel. It's one of the few that I've finished. Probably because it doesn't have that many chapters compared to others. I felt like they followed the novel quite closely though, in terms of the sequence of events and characters. I didn't despise the male lead as much in the drama compared to the novel as well.
Haha, honestly Lakorns just have so many tropes/cliches where you're just like yep that's a lakorn lmao. But I…
Oh it definitely takes spicy and intense to another level. For some odd reason, I feel like I can only take that kind of drama in lakorns. Any other country and it's like 0_0... not feeling this/feels off to me.
I watched this and absolutely loved it. It was my first drama with Mark Prin that I have seen. I am now almost…
Mark grew on me in a weird way. Watched him since 2010 but didn't actually start paying attention to him until 2017. It wasn't until after Kleun Cheewit that I thought, he's a pretty good actor and that he's pretty cute. Side note: Main reason why I made this comment was to say I like your profile picture of Bai Jing Ting ;) He been on my radar lately!
YES! Can't believe that no one has made an article for this on MDL yet! Thank you! The reason why I enjoyed the drama so much was partly due to these fairytales and the deep meaning behind them and how they correlated with the episodes/storyline of the drama. It wasn't just a little side story thrown in that made no sense.
I always thought it was interesting that she wrote such dark children's books and if they weren't depicted in such a dark and eerie vibe if it'll sound more cheerful. Would be interesting to see a take on that. Saw this labeled as part 1, so will be awaiting part 2!
Definitely agree on the no drama aspect and I appreciate it so much!
