haha what years were you listening to Kpop? I've been listening since 2008? Some of these groups aren't really recent. Sechskies is a 1st generation group. VIXX, UNIQ, and 100% (I believe) are 3rd generation groups.

It's been a minute since I've listened to something from K.Will and I adore The Rose! I'm sad that they were mismanaged but I do hope that they'll eventually bring us some music after the members get back together.

I saw the trailer Krating shared on insta and I can't wait for this one! XD

Was patiently waiting for this second part! Thank you for the write-up on these fairytales. I got emotional reading through this and it made me want to go rewatch the drama. I always thought that "The Hand, The Monkfish," was referred to Moon Young's story as the story spoke of a mother grooming her child and then ending up being disappointed that the child didn't reach her expectations. The last story, "Finding the Real Face," was indeed a great closure to their journey that has haunted them for so many years.

So glad you enjoyed the article! SF9 definitely deserves some more attention to their music. I think I know them through their dramas more than their songs. I hope that you find some good songs through this or at least some new groups to follow. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed the article and some of my group picks! I mainly listen to title track songs, so I know a lot more of EXO's title songs but not other tracks like "Wait." I took a listen and I always enjoy SM artists and their slower songs and "Wait" is indeed one that falls into that category. I've been obsessed with an EXO-CBX song that I only came across a couple of weeks ago, "Paper Cuts." It's been on replay quite often and I think it's become one of my favorite EXO songs. Wow, what detailed descriptions and you even matched them to specific scenes and characters! I saw a lot of familiar names and haven't heard most of these so I spent some time going through these songs. I enjoyed Jeong Sewoon's "When It Rains" the most, will be added to my playlist. On the other hand, I was the pleasantly surprised by ONF's Moscow Moscow as I thought it was going to be a more upbeat pop track from the name. ACE's "Stand By You" is one of my top three most played songs last year! I'm glad you pointed that one out <3 and I recently went through some of iKON's songs and found Don't Forget and that one is a gem as well! Thank you for your comment :)

Your list indeed has some beautiful songs! I especially love "Still Love You" because I'm biased towards Lee Hongki and how "mianhae" is sung, ahh.. I can't love it enough! Also, Ha Hyunsang has been a top artist that's been on my radar for the past year? I'm always following his covers on Youtube. Another commenter has suggested 2Z songs and I'm been slowly introducing myself to them. Thank you for your comment <3

Two different but great songs! Taeyeon is the reigned the crown for queen of OST herself. While Deli Spice's Chau Chau has the nostalgic feels to it.

I'm sure we've all had those moments where we pretend to be the MC xD

I felt the same with my first listen for Hyuk's Boy with a Star. It seems like many commenters enjoy that song as well.

Just wanted to come back and say that I listened to more of Peter Han, 2Z and IZ and you gotta share your playlists! I went back and listen to the rest of these artists for the heck of it. As for the newer ones, I was listening to Peter Han's "I Like You" and his voice and singing style really reminded me of John Park and I was shocked. As for 2Z and IZ, I enjoyed their sound. 2Z has a mix of indie to them while IZ sounds a bit more mainstream but both of these groups have such a great sound to their music! "Let's Go For It" took me by a good surprise and "Say Yes" is definitely something I'd listen to! I love the two new band recommendations the most! All the songs you mentioned would fit into an OST easily. Okay, I'll end it here! Thanks again! XD

Just from the list that you provided I can already tell you have great taste in music!! Or at least you listen to the kind of artists that I would enjoy! I know all but 3 artists/groups that you mentioned. I just listened to Peter Han's Broken Apart and it'll be added to my playlist. I also checked out 2Z and IZ and I'm excited to dive into their songs. I adore Hyunsik's Dear Love and it would have made this list if it was longer or if I made a pt.3! I did!! After I wrote this article I did a whole Hyuk binge and boy was I disappointed with myself that I didn't listen to his songs sooner. At least 90% of his songs are on my playlist now!
