Totally understandable. I have a horrible tendency to drop currently airing dramas. It's one of the things I'm working on but I'm too impatient to wait so I watch them anyways XD

And yes! I didn't mention the OST in the article but I'm so in love with the songs in there. Really fitting to the characters! If BJT sings for his dramas, I'd be so happy! Actors these days are multi-talented and I can't keep up with them. Just found out Timmy Xu can sing and he's really good as well.

Somehow the slow burn romance didn't bother me either. They did a good job at keeping me invested in other aspects of the show! Their clueless interactions aren't overdone either and I think that's what is key here.

I didn't expect much on my first watch either. Maybe give it some more time? But I do understand that everyone's preferences are different and at least you gave it a try :)

Yes!!! Adorable, awkward, and fluffy describes them perfectly! And I get it, thats why I paced myself to be intentionally one week slower than the airing date so I never catch up. Since I save this for the weekend to watch and I don't have much time lately anyways.

Lol it's funny how you mentioned that she needed a lot of his help. I thought there werent many or that there could have been more incidents that the writers could have thrown in to make it more dramatic. I guess I'm thinking more in terms of damsel in distress moments though.

I'm glad someone answered your question on dubbing. For the longest time I never knew they were dubbed even though I found the voices annoying. It made sense after I found out XD

I haven't seen DOTS. I do want to note while this drama focuses more on their careers. However, we do have a lot more of hospital scenes vs. swat. Mi Ka is definitely highlighted in this show. And while we do still see the swat, it's mainly their training sessions. Don't know if this will help answer your question.

Definitely agree that there's not enough police action scenes. This drama is catered towards Mi Ka

Their chemistry was spot on from the beginning. I guess my issue was not feeling the direction of the drama until later on. I saw Bai Jing Ting in Irreplaceable Love and didn't care much for him until Xing Kelei came along, so I understand you. Now I'm totally and undeniably smitten by him. His giggles are to die for in here! I'll definitely be sad seeing this drama end. Will have to move along to Ping Pong Life after this.

I'm a historical drama lover as well and modern Chinese dramas are definitely harder for me to get into. Even though I praise this drama, it was hard for me to enjoy it at first watch. I hope that you'll continue to enjoy this one :)
