loveeee this drama so far! there's nothing quite as good as the feeling of a good chinese drama feeling so giddy hehe love the leads, their visuals, chemistry, and excited to see plot!!

the visuals in this drama. oh. my. god. each frame is so stunning and the liu yuning and zong zu er omgggggggg I just can't get over it!

woah woah woah. this drama is AMAZING. Intimacy? top. tier. cinematography? unmatched. chemistry? impeccable. impeccable. oh my goodness. this is why ppl like watching dramas!!

That scene where all the men show up at the door was absolutely hilarious! And this is a fitting end for Sheng Yi.

Nah. Sheng Yi is an idiot. "How can I gurantee he won't look down on me?" There are so many other men in the world and she went back to one who beats her up. how would someone looking down on her be worse than that? this whole "oh woe is me I just am a woman who wants to get married.." thing is so stupid. stop victimizing yourself. she acts like Mudan did not go through tragedies with her own marriage, then was thrown into the fields as a slave because of HER- she's so selfish it's crazy!

I was hoping for a really big scene where he finds out, gets super angry, and punishes the people who did it but what is this? ?? and the way he was just going to leave her at the end? girl. what is going on.

yep, no pity for Sheng yi. ML has maintained his chill with most things until it comes to Mudan getting hurt, like when she was stabbed in the forest. Cmon JCY avenge our girl!

how can you compare Mudan telling Shengyi to live "independently" even when Mudan told her she can get married to someone to her going back to her manipulative husband that nearly killed both of them, used to beat them up and telling him information about Mudan that got her into this situation? When Mudan was the one who took her out of it too. Very weird comparison

I hate Sheng Yi. Truly the biggest betrayal she could've done after everything Mudan sacrificed for her. No amount of crying or self pity is going to get her out of this.. Also does ML not yet know Mudan has been turned into a slave?? Ik he usually lets her resolve things on her own but he should step in this time... :(((

waiting for ML to become a bit more involved in Mudan's life! I feel like he's a bit passive rn but I'm excited to see how their relationship develops :)
