I see a lot of criticism, but I'm really enjoying this drama. The 2 minute episodes are pleasantly comprehensive and the plot is quite quick and exciting. The chemistry between the 2 leads is remarkablee and as a whole, it's pretty fun!
Oh my goodness... what an absolute rollercoaster. I cried with all the characters watching these last few episodes.. Yuan Lu, Sun Lang, Qian Zhou. Their deaths were soo devastating :((((((( watching the brotherhood come to end with them going to the afterlife- my heart. my heart is too weak for this. I kept replaying all the scenes they had together in my head and after all the episodes we've spent with them- this is so heartbreaking.
Ning Yuanzhou! This man does not fail to impress. His strength, courage, and capability as a leader is truly admirable. The way he set LTG in his place for playing around with his girl, you could really see the stark difference between them. And how he was able to push aside his dislike of LTG when he knew the country needed him. absolutely remarkable. I can't imagine anyone playing this role better than LYN. Truly amazingly done.
And Ruyi, our sweet, beautiful, amazingly strong girl omg<33. One thing this drama has is depth and uniqueness. It really kept us on our toes beginning to end, everything was so hard to predict. I love the intricate ways in which the characters interacted with each other. Like with Shisan, you know he really wanted to be with Chu Yue in his heart, but knew that he couldn't because that ultimately wasn't the ending for him. "If I hugged you, I wouldn't let go." He knew he if he took that step, he wouldn't be able to go back- that tore me apart. I love how Ruyi still feels concern for LTG as his master, even if she doesn't want to maintain a relationship with him.
The scene with the 3 women, Chu Yue, Ruyi, and Yang Ying, all women who have lost men that they loved and continue with bravery, strength, and courage. it made me so emotional to see them together. Ying, who has grown so much throughout the whole drama, shows her true maturity as we see how she struggles with Yuan Lu's death while still marrying LTG for the sake of everyone. LTG, continuing to be crazy yet having matured in some ways. for me, it makes perfect sense that Ning Yuanzhou would join the rest of the brotherhood to the afterlife, and Ruyi after him. After all, this is Luidao Hall. This is what they've meant to be. This is the ending that makes the most sense- despite how tragically devastating it was for us as viewers.
This was a undeniable 10/10 drama for me. Everything was so beautifully done and well made, all the cast was perfectly cast. Liu ShiShi and Liu Yuning really outdid themselves, and all the other characters shone in the best ways possible. I think this drama was unique in so many amazing ways and overall was an amazing journey to love.
yeah I was wondering that too! I'm watching it on Youtube and only 27 episodes are released.. I checked other websites and only 24 are released on them.
wow. crazy two 2 episodes. personally bittersweet about LTG! it's like the end of an era but I look forward to seeing if he's going to end up with anyone.
