Have been refreshing the site, but it says the airing is suspended from December 4 and that is it. It is the only drama being suspended as far as I know.
The story is compelling, realistic , the cast did great, their performance is so convincing, I find myself glued to the couch watching the episodes and not wanting them to end. I feel the pain and joy of the 3 main leads and hope they all will end happily in the drama, they so deserve a good life, they have earned it.
I truly like the acting of ML, it is my first time watching him, his performance is great, it comes from the inside as if he is the doctor himself, he just does not play the role, he is the role, delivering his character to the T, he is truly a great actor. The FL never disappoints, they drive the drama on. As for the other characters, I think they over act a bit too much, the never ending gossip girls, their teenage expressions, the head nurse who keeps her tone and head down all the time, the young male doctor who is never sure of what he does, keeps on apologizing are all quite infuriating. This drama has 40 episodes, I think 30 would be enough.
There was an onstage interview of Bai Jing Ting a couple of years ago,may be less, in which he responded to the question about him playing a role in costume dramas, he said he had not been given the chance yet and was actually very much looking foward to an opportunity. Glad he was given the chance at last, must say his mannerism and posture, his acting fit to the T, he just doesn't disappoint.
I am not too keen about medical dramas, but this one has me binge watched all the episodes aired up to now. I find the story and the characters refreshing and down to earth, Yang Mi never disappoints, it is my first time watching the male lead, he plays his role well, convincing. Glad I decided to have a try of the drama.
I have heard of this drama in the past but never got myself to sit down to swatch it, dreading the length of the drama (73 episodes). However since I couldn't find anything interesting for a week now, I finally started watching it 3 days ago, and I wouldn't stop if I only could. It is an extremely well written story , superbly played out but the cast. Every episode has something new to say, to tell us, to lead us to the episode that follows. the story and the acting are compelling. It is an excellent timeless drama.
I really tried to watch this drama because I like Vin Zhang, he is a profesional, but Ester Yu just kept driving me away, her acting really put me off, always putting on a baby face with that voice of hers, OMG, sorry Vin Zhang, next time.
What a deliberate heart breaking ending, I'd say it is totally uncalled for, all those stabbings he got and then die on the spot with a gun shot wound on the shoulder?? What is position she took up in the family 5 years later? The mistress? Widow of whom? Then a new recruit who is the image of the lost love? OMG, how weak and naive is the ending, how much poorer a script can get than this... Not worth watching, not even when the episodes last only 10 minutes or so.
I love William Chan's performance in this drama. I have been rewatching it, , rewatching him, he poise, his mannerism depict his character to the T, distant, cold, a true commander and strategist. He should do more period dramas.
I'm glad this drama is still burning hot, because no matter how many c-dramas I watched so far, I still can't…
So true, I keep rewatching all the episodes, especially when the bad guys got what they had been asking for, like how Zhao Lu Si bit the head off the old royal aunt she got carried away to be put in a monastery for good!
Nivrana in fire 1 is the best Chinese drama I have seen so far. It has the best story, the bast cast. I also watched season 2 but both the story and the cast are less in quality. If there will be really a season 3 with the cast of season 1 (doing different roles) I am sure it will be another great piece of art work, as actors of such calibre demand a great story.
