Thanks much for the feedback on queen of tears, don't 🤔 I'll jump into it for now. Right, lovely runner will air to morrow, finally. As for blossoms in adversity, another 8 hrs or so and we'll have 2 episodes. May be they will even deliver all remaining episodes with fast track by end week, hopefully.

Lovely runner is great to watch, I read some comments about Queen of Tears, it seems to be a drama built upon miscommunications between the main leads, since I hate misunderstandings built on not telling the truth or keeping silent even when things go from bad to worse, I hesitate to start this drama.

I totally understand why he did't stop to help the little prince. He judged the wound is superficial, inflicted upon by the king for the same purpose as he himself did to his own face, meaning illegible to the throne. He also knows help would come soon from the household. So I am not shocked.

Already forgotten. Don't worry about it.

I have a link to the book, but I have not read it. I am enjoying the drama as it is. May be I'll read the book after the drarma is finished, not to pick on the differences, but to implement what is missed. It is for me a way to keep the drama alive a bit longer :)

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it. As for voting in Douban, I have given up. I did indicate my phone number a couple of times in the past, but the registration process got stuck for some unknown reason. Anyway since it looks that local people have different criteria in voting in Douban, I'll leave it.

You did sound a bit rude. You are right, I don't live in China and I was not raised there, this makes the difference in thoughts, habits and behavior. I enjoy watching dramas in general, be they Korean, Chinese, British, Americans, etc. I base my likes and dislikes mostly on the stories, acting of the cast and cinematografies.

Plot holes, as far as the story goes, I personally don't see any big holes. historical inaccuracies? I treat all dramas as fictional unless otherwise specified by the producers. Cultural? Women weren't considered generally as they are not in this series, this drama made the female lead an exception, and I love it, the empowerment is great to see. Anyway we all have our own thinkings and opinions. I am just sorry that I can't vote in Douban.

This drama deserves a better rating in Douban, https://movie.douban.com/subject/36299980/ It has a great storyline and good pacing, the cast are well chosen delivering excellent performance, from the smallest roles to the leads. Some say the male lead Hu Yi Tian does not act, I think he playes the role as scripted, stern, cold in appearance but his actions speak otherwise. I have seen him in other dramas, he is good. As for the female lead, she fits the role to a t, capable, strong and yet sentimental. The Youku airing schedule for this drama is getting us all upset, why don't they fast rack the remaining episodes, a good story needs to be told non stop!!

I sure hope Youku will fast track the remaining episodes very, very soon!! Delivering bits and pieces each day is killing my mood to follow this drama...

I love the story and its pacing, no fastward with the remote!! I understand it is the first time the 2 main leads work together and in costume drama, too, I'd give them 7+ for their performance, with room for improvement to be more natural in speaking, in their body language and facial expressions.

From a trailer , she says as much, she says she regrets having breaking up with him. I think it is only a way for her to keep him safe, they will be getting back together, I think.

I do hope the king will stop hurting people, damn...

Fast track, please fast track Youku!!

In fact, the men in the family of Hua are good people, besides the male lead, look at the grandfather, the uncles, and the ex fiancee of the female lead, all good people, of course if one wants to focus only on the bad guys overlooking the good ones.....

I think all make sense, the daughter is described as a spoiled brat, she married the man of her own choosing with huge dowry from the family and she still thinks she can take what she wants. Her husband thinks her side of the family had no more standing in the society and he could just take what he fancies. He fancies the maid he saw and his wish is her command as she wanted badly to regain some standing in the household.
I didn't read the book, I find the series flows beautifully and I am totally enjoying it.
