Some people sniff and say that MLC only got that score due to Cheng Yi's rabid fans and the show is not as good as it seems ... what do you think? I personally don't think so as I think it deserves it.

I am at the first episode 30 min in and I am bored.
Dylan isn't terrible but he isn't charismatic either. I can see why his fans would gravitate towards this - it's a comfort watch of a popular trope - powerful Ceo and ordinary girl. It is an "insert yourself in this role" drama. Great for new fans of cdramas.
But for old hats like me who, especially do not like Ceo romances?

I could not even tolerate 10 min of that drama. I tried 😅 not sure why it turned me off. I just didn't feel for the story at all.

Me neither. The moment I saw that he was lead, I groaned. It's sad as I have been watching cdramas since the 80s and it didn't used to be this shallow.

Yea I will watch it out if curiosity thanks to the negative comments (ironically lol). Maybe I will be more forgiving of Dylan in this one

I have not even started because the premise is so boring to me and Dylan doesn't appeal to me as an actor. If he was Cheng Yi level I would give it a chance

I will watch an ep or two out of curiosity. The review has made me curious lol. In the reddit sub I am in, however, people are WILD over this show. That's usually a sign that it's a fan centric show where people are there cos of the idol, not the story.

Oh come on, why are you reading this review then if you don't want negativity? I don't understand you guys attacking people who have a different opinion than you. Don't be so fragile.
Anyway this review actually made me curious to watch it. It has a purpose to encourage people to watch also.

Give it another 8 episodes.
Just kidding 😆 thanks for the early review tho it has made me even more curious to check it out. I probably will be like you however as I don't think of him as a good actor either.

I like it for what it is. I really enjoy the friendship between the four, tho the show can get draggy at times 😅 I am only at ep 22
