I cannot with the infidelity with a much, much younger guy. Yes, Motoharu is super annoying, self-centred and…
I think it will happen in E8 but going by the way things turned out in E7, I am not sure how long their relationship will even survive so I don't even know if it will count as infidelity... Also there will be progress on the Mio/ML front so.......
I LOVE that this show shows us the strength of the human spirit like how supporting each other & spreading love is the greatest gift mankind has to offer. While they may not provide a solution to our problems, they lay the basis of a happy, stable society. And a happy, stable society will ultimately be the one that is able to face challenges and live a life of quality. Much needed in the times of COVID where so many feel isolated & lonely.
Also, where do I sign up for sensitive men like the surgeon & nurse?
I must applaud this show for giving us a very balanced point of view in presenting both sides of the story. I like that E7 took a step back to look at the good side of the ML.
Watching E7 made me sympathise with the ML for the first time. Just because he wants to do a better job this time around, he has been clearly ignoring Sayaka's issues and doing his best. I can see why he's unable to love Sayaka the way he loves Mio. Sayaka only cares for herself and is never considerate of him, his family and his feelings. She says her piece but doesn't listen to him & treats him as lower than him.
I was also thinking of watching this for Nanao but I'll put it on hold for now since I am watching another ongoing drama with Nanao that is pretty fun.
I should listened to you, i watched 1st episode and feels like throwing up, it's gives super creepy vibe.
E1 was actually the best episode. It gave me hope that this would be a light drama exploring age gap relationships. But it started going downhill with the entry of her uni friend.
I don't think the recommendations listed are anything similar to this drama LOL. If you guys want to check out something that comes closest to Run On, watch Uchi no Musume wa, Kareshi ga Dekinai! (though I'd argue that the latter is even better) The character dynamics & interactions are interesting and the chemistry between the entire cast is crazy. The dialogue is witty, sensitive & progressive. The 4th wall breaking comedy is GOLD as well.
The squid dance routine is the best thing about this show so far. I've seen a lot of J dramas with these awesome dance routines but it's my first time seeing a K drama with one! Hope we'll have it in each episode :)

RE Oh My Boss - yes it does have a love triangle but it doesn't really matter.
