I know the romance at the end felt a little lackluster even though they clearly love one another, but overall I really enjoyed this show! It's so rare to see a historical drama treat any kind of disability nevermind mental AND physical at the same time, appropriately or with respect. It was so refreshing that no one made fun of ye li for being traumatized or having hallucinations and though MXY of course faced ridicule due to the plot by the bad guys, for the context and the time available, his healing and learning to walk again was well done. I also loved the focus on accessibility in his home and when he would go places, I don't think I've seen a ramp before! If you're looking for something a little more understated and slice of life this is a great show for you.

I had a lot of fun with this, though I think two more episodes would have resolved some of the issues with pacing and choppy cuts to new scenes, but for adapting something so long with so many factions, I think it did a good job! Of course would have loved more XYL because duh, but if you want something quick, engaging, entertaining, with super satisfying revenge payoff, this is a great show for you. Also LOVED the trio of sister, uncle, nephew, that child actor has a long career ahead of him!

seriously! felt like this was the least successful episode, but I'm glad we got the kiss and hopefully they can finally start moving towards them actually dating/being in love, dealing with Oyei's debt (oh boy), and ugh Ter.

Aaah thank you!! The article about it said they made him up entirely so based on what you told me it seems more that they took one character and expanded him to make it all conspiracy red string haha.

I just finished watching the first four eps and for anyone who read the webtoon, I'm confused. I saw earlier that Kim Ji-Hoon's character was created for the show, so is there someone else in the webtoon?? Or did they add his character to then do the plot twist? And if so does that mean the webtoon doesn't have the plot twist?
